Published under thriller queen Gillian Flynn's imprint, 'Glass Girls' follows Alice Haserot, a woman with the unique gift to channel ghosts. She's pregnant, and struggles with whether to keep the baby and pass on a curse that's plagued her family for generations. When her estranged family forces her to come home and use her gifts, the life she tried to escape catches up with her.
'Our Last Resort' by Clémence Michallon (out July 8)
In 'Our Last Resort,' a brother and sister who were driven apart by an unspeakable tragedy are reunited after the brother is accused of murder. It's also not the first time Gabriel, the brother, has been accused of murder. The investigation forces Frida, the sister, to revisit their cult upbringing and reckon with the evidence mounting against him.
'Not Quite Dead Yet' by Holly Jackson (out July 22)
This is the first adult novel from the author of 'A Good Girl's Guide to Murder,' and it follows a young woman trying to solve her own murder. On Halloween night, Jet, the daughter of a wealthy New England family, is violently attacked by a person unknown. It leaves her with a catastrophic head injury that the doctors are sure will trigger a fatal aneurysm in a week – a deadline she'll try and use to find the enemy set on killing her.
'A Twist of Fate' by Se-Ah Jang (out July 29)
'A Twist of Fate' follows two women who meet on a train that changes the course of their lives. Jae-Young is on the run after murdering her abusive boyfriend when she meets a chatty mother and her infant son. But then the woman disappears, leaving her child for Jae-Young with instructions for how to get him to her in-laws. There, the in-laws assume Jae-Young is their daughter-in-law. Could this be the new life she was looking for?

The New England Patriots' wide receiver shared several images of himself, including a photo with Cardi B while they were attending the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics playoff game in Madison Square Garden last month. Advertisement 'To the month of May, I appreciate you none the less… gotta stay focused,' Diggs captioned the photos that included some snapshots from practice, quotes, and close-ups of some of his statement fashion pieces. From the post, it seems like May was a good month for Diggs, but it follows a boat party he attended with his girlfriend Cardi B that could get the newly signed wide receiver in trouble. In a clip of the viral boat party, the Grammy winner was dancing on one side with a group of women while Diggs was also entertaining more women on the other side of the yacht. The NFL star was filmed with a bag containing an unknown substance, which the New England Patriots are currently reviewing. Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated reported that it is not far off to think that the Patriots could release Diggs for his behavior. 'It's going to be hard… the league is going to look into this, and they're going to hit a dead end because they're not going to be able to prove what was in the bag,' Breer continued. Diggs did not show up to a voluntary practice but the Patriots head coach, Mike Vrabel, why the athlete was absent. 'So then it's up to the team to make a decision. The story that keeps on giving keeps finding new ways to give. Pablo Torre's thorough and detailed reporting on former Patriots coach Bill Belichick's decidedly un-Belichickian late-career turn has generated plenty of attention. And, as Belichick and Jordon Hudson have learned, with attention comes scrutiny. Ben Axelrod of explains that Boston native, Patriots superfan, and ultra-popular podcast host Bill Simmons took a few shots at Torre during a study of the ridiculously far-fetched 1978 football film, Heaven Can Wait, in which Warren Beatty's character (Rams quarterback Joe Pendleton) dies too soon, enters the body of multimillionaire Leo Farnsworth as rectification for the error, buys the team, and makes himself the starting quarterback in advance of the Super Bowl. 'Pablo Torre would've done a long podcast about Leo Farnsworth trying to practice with the team, and then done a media tour about it afterwards,' Simmons said. 'I've never seen anybody dine on a stupider story for a week and a half while pretending you're a journalist. What the fuck was that? Seriously.' Added Simmons: 'Belichick's dating a girl. 'Oh, let me do nine shows about it.' Settle the fuck down.' The Torre media tour wasn't planned. People wanted to talk to him about the Belichick story. That's how he ended up on #PFTPM last week; I asked him to do it. The reason was simple. People can't get enough of the story. Our traffic proves it, over and over again. For instance, our top four stories for May 2025 related to Belichick and his 24-year-old girlfriend/handler/publicist/idea mill/creative muse Jordon Hudson. But while a certain amount of flak from others in the media is to be expected for anyone whose success sparks natural and predictable resentment, Torre appears to be ready to engage Simmons. 'Since you have such a strong public opinion about my work,' Torre said to Simmons on Twitter, 'I happen to have a few questions for you, specifically. Unless you're afraid of [Pablo Torre Finds Out] and someone just 'pretending to be a journalist,' of course.' We don't know what the questions are. We don't know whether Simmons will answer them. But we know that, if Pablo Torre becomes sufficiently curious about something, he'll make it his mission to find out.
