Man Receives 'Used And Dirty' Track Pants For Rs 10 From Zepto; Internet Reacts

The user shared his experience on Zepto, receiving the details of the track pants he received.
When ordering online, whether it is from any online platform or e-commerce site, it is not very uncommon to receive free gifts on certain occasions. From free cosmetics to sample products and sweets, the companies send a wide range of items as part of special offers or promotional campaigns. But how about if you start receiving cash money as a free gift? Sounds tempting, right?
A person recently claimed to have received money in his Zepto order, which included a pair of track pants. While mentioning that the pants were already used and dirty, he revealed finding the unusual free gifts in the pants pockets. Taking to Reddit, the user wrote, 'Ordered track pants from Zepto and found a Jaipur bus sticker and 10 rupees in the pocket." He further mentioned that the pants were used and dirty but came with an 'Rs 10 profit."
'Buy a packet of Surf Excel with the money and wash the pants," a comment read. A user hilariously asked, 'What if there's a guy still wondering who took his track pants from the bus stand at Jaipur bus stand?" with one more adding, 'The track pants travelled themselves to be delivered. Wear it, and it will take you places."
Amid the light-hearted reactions on the internet, Zepto is yet to react to the incident. However, this clearly adds to another online shopping blunder. Earlier in February, a man was left shocked after he ended up receiving an empty package instead of his original order of a high-end camera worth Rs 39,990. The user in his post also revealed that despite sharing his grievances with Amazon, he got no resolution.

‘UP poised to be hub of med, wellness tourism'

1 2 UP's blend of modern healthcare, spiritual heritage and supportive tourism policies can make it a leading destination for both medical and wellness tourism, experts said at the TOI Dialogues session on "Health & Heritage: Building a Resilient, Tourism-Driven Uttar Pradesh". The discussion began with the question of whether health tourism is on the state's agenda. Principal secretary (tourism & culture) Mukesh Kumar Meshram said while there is currently no dedicated policy, one is in the works. He outlined two key components — medical tourism, which draws foreign patients for high-quality treatment at a fraction of the cost abroad, and wellness tourism, which focuses on preventive healthcare through yoga, naturopathy and Ayurveda. Post-Covid, he noted, there is a global shift toward immunity and wellness, and UP aims to encourage wellness centres, taking inspiration from Kerala's success in the sector. Pramit Mishra, unit head at Max Super Speciality Hospital, said tourists increasingly factor in healthcare access when choosing destinations. "UP offers a healing touch with its mix of tradition, spirituality and modern medicine," he said. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Villas For Sale in Dubai Might Surprise You Villas in Dubai | Search Ads Get Info Undo With policies easing infrastructure development, institutions like SGPGI and KGMU have trained doctors who now serve worldwide. He also pointed out that Lucknow offers surgeries at 25-30% lower costs than Delhi, with some cardiac procedures priced far below those in countries like Singapore, making it a cost-competitive medical tourism hub. Life coach and co-founder of My Mom's Village Puja Singh shared their sustainable tourism model, which shifts from sightseeing to "soul-seeing." The project promotes organic farming, empowers rural women and sources all produce locally. Situated on the spiritual circuit between Ayodhya, Mathura and Varanasi, and on the Buddhist circuit, the village has benefited from rural tourism schemes but seeks further support for women's skill development and rural medical centres. Author Shantanu Gupta highlighted UP's religious tourism potential, citing the 64 crore visitors during the Kumbh Mela, which generated an estimated Rs 3.5 lakh crore in economic value. Such events, he said, demonstrate UP's safety, hospitality and infrastructure to a massive domestic and international audience. Speakers agreed that with affordable, world-class healthcare, rich wellness traditions, spiritual appeal, and upcoming policy support, Uttar Pradesh is well-placed to become a global destination for both medical and wellness tourism. ‘Tilak Pravesh Dwar' to enhance Ayodhya's spiritual stature

Lucknow/Ayodhya: The UP govt is building an entrance gateway, 'Tilak Pravesh Dwar', on the Panchkosi Parikrama marg in Ayodhya . Located near the sacred Hanuman Gufa, the Rs 1.89 crore project is being executed by the Ayodhya Development Authority as part of the UP govt's broader vision for the city. Nearly 60% of the construction work is already complete. Far beyond being a mere architectural structure, the gateway is envisioned as a powerful emblem of Ayodhya's rich spiritual heritage, religious grandeur and cultural pride, officials said. Designed to offer a majestic and spiritually enriching entry to devotees undertaking the Panchkosi Parikrama, the gate will combine classical temple architecture with modern construction techniques, showcasing Ramayana-era elements, traditional craftsmanship and religious symbolism. The gateway is expected to elevate Ayodhya's image not only as a spiritual centre but also as a vibrant hub of tourism and cultural beautification. The surroundings will be adorned with an impressive façade, intricate stone carvings, sculpted pillars, thematic lighting, and lush landscaping. Special focus is being placed on quality and aesthetics to ensure the gate becomes a prominent landmark and attraction for visitors. Commenting on the project, vice-chairman of the Ayodhya Development Authority, Ashwini Pandey said, "The Tilak Pravesh Dwar will significantly enhance the city's spiritual stature and will also be an architectural marvel. Every effort is being made to complete it on time and dedicate it to the public ahead of upcoming religious festivals. We aim to make it a memorable and soul-stirring experience for devotees and tourists alike. " Once completed, the gateway will serve as a new spiritual and visual landmark, inspiring awe in the lakhs of devotees and tourists who travel the Panchkosi Parikrama route every year, officials said. Aastha Path to ease pilgrims' progress to Ayodhya

Ayodhya/Lucknow: To ease movement of devotees and tourists coming to the temple town, Yogi Adityanath govt has set up another wide corridor. To be used primarily by pedestrians, the 225-metre long 'Aastha Path' (path of belief), has been commissioned with a budget of Rs 5 crore. The widened road corridor would facilitate movement of individuals and families between Ram Gulela temple and Ram temple. Walk on the route amidst old temples and religious structures would enrich spiritual experience of the visitors. Moreover, it would also link 'Bhakti Path' to Ram temple directly as Aastha Path is going to serve as the link route. Bhakti Path witnesses heavy rush of devotees throughout the day as it connects the highly revered Hanuman Garhi to Ram temple. Construction of Aastha Path began on Dec 12, 2023 and has been executed by Public Works Department. PWD executive engineer Shashi Bhushan Singh said the corridor included key infrastructure such as utility ducts, drainage, water supply pipelines, and a concrete road. To prevent monsoon waterlogging, an advanced drainage system has been installed. Street lighting and aesthetic elements are nearing completion, while the recently approved footpath construction is expected to finishby end of Aug.
