Team India cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and RJ Mahvash were recently seen dining together in Jaipur, sparking fresh buzz about their alleged relationship. Although both have consistently denied the dating rumours, their frequent outings and the warmth they display toward each other hint at something more than just friendship.
In an exclusive video shared by Pinkvilla, Yuzvendra Chahal and RJ Mahvash are seen having dinner at an upscale, dimly-lit restaurant in Jaipur. The duo appeared engaged in conversation in the background while another diner unknowingly captured them while filming her own video.
Check out the video here:
The video appears to be from a few days earlier, as both Yuzvendra Chahal and RJ Mahvash were in Ahmedabad on Sunday for the IPL 2025 Qualifier 2 match between Chahal's team, Punjab Kings, and the Mumbai Indians.
Mahvash was spotted in the stands cheering him on, and when the leg-spinner dismissed MI's key batter Suryakumar Yadav, she was visibly thrilled, jumping with excitement and hooting in celebration.
Chahal is now set to travel to Gujarat for the IPL 2025 final, where his team, Punjab Kings (PBKS), will face off against Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
RJ Mahvash, who has been a regular presence at Chahal's key matches, is unlikely to miss the high-stakes finale. The much-awaited IPL 2025 final is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, June 3.
Rumors about Yuzvendra Chahal and RJ Mahvash's alleged relationship began circulating around the time his marriage with Dhanashree Verma reportedly faced turbulence. The cricketer and Dhanashree officially parted ways in March this year, and since then, Mahvash has often been seen by Chahal's side, fueling further speculation about their bond.
Rumors linking RJ Mahvash and Yuzvendra Chahal began circulating following his reported separation from Dhanashree Verma, especially after the two were spotted together on multiple occasions.
Although Mahvash had previously denied the speculations, the gossip intensified when they were seen attending a Champions Trophy match in Dubai.
Meanwhile, Mahvash is embarking on a new chapter in her career, having recently made her acting debut in Pyar Paisa Profit, a series based on Durjoy Datta's novel Now That You're Rich… Let's Fall In Love. The show, available on Amazon MX Player, features actors like Pratik Yadav, Mihir Ahuja, Neil Bhoopalam, Nitish Sharma, Shivangi Khedkar, and Ashish Raghav.

'I Am Always Under Pressure...': Gautam Gambhir Goes Unfiltered On Coaching Career

Last Updated: India head coach Gautam Gambhir has spoken about the constant pressure he faces, stressing the importance of performance before the England tour. India head coach Gautam Gambhir has said that he is always under pressure irrespective of the results of the team, adding that as a coach, he always wants results, and the fact that things might go the other way keeps him on his toes throughout. The start of Gambhir 's career as India's head coach was tumultuous. He lost an ODI series against Sri Lanka, was whitewashed at home in a Test series against New Zealand and that followed the 1-3 defeat in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Although the Champions Trophy triumph came next, a lot of eyes will be on Gambhir's coaching and eventual results on India's upcoming tour of England. 'I am always under pressure irrespective of whether we got the results or not. If you had asked me this question after New Zealand (series), I would have said 'yes, I am under pressure'," Gambhir said at the pre-departure press conference. 'After Australia (tour), I would have said 'yes, I am under pressure'. After the Champions Trophy, I am still under pressure because me being the coach, you always want the results," Gambhir added. The India head coach will be under pressure, especially with the retirement of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli within a few days last month, the burden of guiding a bunch led by Shubman Gill, as well as the Jasprit Bumrah factor, given that the ace pacer wouldn't be able to play all Tests. Gambhir hinted that Bumrah's sequence of appearances will depend a lot on how India is positioned in the series. 'We want to discuss with him, and it depends on the series as well. A lot will depend on the results of the series as well, as to where it is heading. That is something which I am very well aware of as well," Gambhir said. The India head coach said that Karun Nair's experience of playing in the County circuit and his recent form will come in handy for the Indian side in England. 'It's always good to have the experience of Karun, who has played a bit of County cricket as well. He is in really good form. He scored a double hundred for India A," Gambhir said. India will play the first Test against England at Leeds from June 20. First Published: June 05, 2025, 22:32 IST

"Overpaid...": RCB Legend AB De Villiers' Shock Revelation After IPL 2025 Triumph

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) clinched their first Indian Premier League (IPL) title on Tuesday, as they beat Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the IPL 2025 final. Despite having had exceptional T20 cricketers like Chris Gayle and AB de Villiers in the past, it was the first time in 18 years that RCB won the title. While Gayle and de Villiers were present to celebrate with RCB, former India cricketer-turned-broadcaster Abhinav Mukund revealed an interesting remark that de Villiers had made to him, where he had said that he felt he was overpaid during his time as a player in the IPL. "I was sitting next to AB de Villiers and he told me something that I don't think any legend in the IPL has said. But he genuinely meant it, he said it from a place of emotion. He said 'I was overpaid'," Mukund revealed. "I'm overpaid, I thought I was overpaid because I feel like all of the other elements that you're talking about, right? Where you're able to buy so many other superstar players, all those match winners you're talking about. The highest amount of money that they spent on was for someone like a Phil Salt or Josh Hazlewood. They didn't cross 15 (Rs 15 crore)," was what de Villiers had told Mukund, as revealed by the latter. De Villiers was retained twice by RCB ahead of a mega auction over the course of his 11-year stint with the franchise. In an era where valuations where lesser, de Villiers was retained for Rs 7.50 crore and Rs 11 crore in 2014 and 2018 respectively. While RCB did not spend Rs 12.50 crore on any player at the mega auction, they did retain Virat Kohli for Rs 21 crore. They also went up to Rs 23.50 crore to try and get Venkatesh Iyer, who landed up in Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs 23.75 crore. Mukund stated that not getting Venkatesh ended up working in RCB's favour, given that he scored just 142 runs in 11 matches in IPL 2025. "In hindsight, they must be thinking, thank God we didn't go all the way from Venkatesh Iyer. Because their last losing bid was Venkatesh Iyer. And the next three buys were Josh Hazlewood, Jitesh Sharma and I think Phil Salt. Those were the next three buys. And they saved so much in the bank for day two when Bhuvneshwar Kumar came in," said Mukund. Listen to the latest songs, only on

‘We have not taken that call': Gautam Gambhir mum on which matches Jasprit Bumrah will play in England Test series

India coach Gautam Gambhir remained tight-lipped on which three of the five Tests Jasprit Bumrah will take part in when India take on England later this month. He also said that the Indian bowling unit has enough talent to plug in the gap in case of the premier pacer's unavailability. 'We have not taken that call that which three games we want (him) to play,' Gambhir said, though it is not certain if Bumrah would play only three Tests. 'Look it's always difficult to replace someone like Jasprit Bumrah but we have got enough quality. 'I have said it before (also) during the Champions Trophy as well that it gives someone else the opportunity to put his hand up and we have got enough talent. I know that he is a quality (bowler) but we have got enough quality in the squad,' Gambhir told the media during his pre-departure press conference with new Test captain Shubman Gill. The India coach also hinted that Bumrah's appearances will depend on how India are positioned in the series. 'Obviously we want to have a discussion with him and it depends on the series as well. A lot will depend on the results of the series as well (as to) where it is heading. That is something which I am very well aware of as well and that is important,' he said. Captain Gill, meanwhile, echoed the coach's words saying that the pace attack is quite capable of filling Gill also spoke in the same vein and said the Indian pace attack can not only fill in for Bumrah but also win Test matches from any situation. 'We have picked enough bowlers and we have enough pace battery and our fast bowlers are in a great space to be able to win us Test matches from any situation and any position,' he said. 'When you have Jasprit Bumrah… depending on how many matches you would play him, but whenever he would come back and play it would be a great sight for us, but I think we have a great mix and set of bowlers who can get the job done for the team,' he added.
