Real Estate Future Forum 2025: Saudi Arabia's National Housing Company signs over $8bn of deals
This milestone was achieved under the patronage of Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majed Al Hogail and Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef.
The agreements included a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources to enhance collaboration in supply chains and the Industrial Links Program, aiming to increase local content and improve efficiency in the real estate development sector.

In another key agreement, a memorandum of understanding was signed with King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) in collaboration with Al Saif Company to advance construction development through off-site construction technologies.
As part of its efforts to support supply chain services, NHC signed agreements with nine real estate development companies.
Additionally, two open purchase agreements were signed with Zamil Air Conditioners Factory, along with another agreement with Alfanar Company.
The forum also marked the announcement of the Logistics City project in Khuzam Destination, a partnership involving NHC, CETC China Construction, and Alrawaf Contracting.
This initiative aims to enhance the efficiency of supply chains in the real estate sector, strengthen the national economy, and support future real estate development projects.
To foster human resource development, NHC signed a memorandum of understanding with the Saudi Media Academy to collaborate on training initiatives.
This partnership includes providing specialised programs aimed at qualifying and developing the national workforce.

Saudi Arabia to host Future Minerals Forum in January
Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources has announced the launch of the fifth annual Future Minerals Forum (FMF 2026) from January 13 to 15, 2026, in Riyadh, under the theme, 'Dawn of a Global Cause." The event will be held under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef noted that the forum will further solidify the kingdom's position as a leader in the global dialogue on the future of the mining and minerals sector and reinforce the forum's pivotal role as a leading international platform for shaping the future of minerals and promoting responsible supply chains. For the past four years, 'FMF has led global action to address the sector's most pressing issues and promote investment and responsible supply of minerals,' said Alkhorayef. 'FMF is a cause driven from Saudi Arabia, one that brings the world together to deliver the minerals for creating a new era of global development, prosperity, and stability for supplier nations,' Alkhorayef added. He emphasised the importance of the theme, stating: 'This is more than an event – it is a collective call to action. 'Dawn of a Global Cause' reflects the growing realization that minerals are critical not just to industries but also to humanity's collective progress. This forum will forge new partnerships and inspire the change our sector urgently needs.' The FMF will convene a diverse array of stakeholders — governments, industry leaders, multilateral organizations, and academia — under one roof, at a time when minerals are essential for fulfilling global electrification ambitions. The FMF 2026 programme and its government-led Ministerial Roundtable will collectively focus on the three main areas: delivering models for funding infrastructure projects to unlock seven mineral corridors in Africa and Latin America, as part of a phased approach that can be expanded to other regions; building capacity in supplier region through the creation of a network of Centers of Excellence focusing on geology, innovation, sustainability, talent development, and policy; and increasing supply-chain transparency by piloting a traceability scheme that can be replicated. At the fourth Ministerial Roundtable of the Future Minerals Forum 2025, Saudi Arabia convened the largest government gathering of its kind, bringing together representatives from over 90 countries, including 16 Group of Twenty (G20) nations and 50 international organizations, including the United Nations, World Bank, ICMM, UNIDO, and ISO. The high-level discussions focused on strengthening global collaboration across the "Super-Region" spanning Africa, West and Central Asia, and other key supplier nations.

Cityscape Global returns to Riyadh in November 2025
Saudi Arabia - Cityscape Global, will return to the Exhibition and Convention Centre in Malham, Riyadh, from 17 - 20 November 2025. Saudi minister explores strategic industrial and mining partnerships with top Russian firms
MOSCOW — Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar AlKhorayef held a series of high-level meetings with executives from leading Russian industrial and mining companies during his official visit to the Russian Federation, aimed at expanding investment partnerships and exploring new opportunities in mining and manufacturing. AlKhorayef met with the CEO of Alrosa, the world's largest diamond mining company, where they discussed opportunities for collaboration in mineral production and processing. The minister highlighted Saudi Arabia's enabling investment environment for mining ventures. He also held a strategic meeting with the CEO of VSMPO-AVISMA, the world's largest titanium producer, to discuss knowledge exchange and industrial cooperation. The discussions explored joint efforts in producing and processing titanium for use in aviation, automotive, and other advanced industries. Saudi Arabia currently produces around 16,000 tons of titanium sponge annually, roughly 10% of global output, alongside 500,000 tons of titanium slag, primarily in Jazan. In a separate meeting with the CEO of Nordgold, a major gold mining firm, AlKhorayef reviewed Saudi Arabia's upcoming 2025 mineral exploration opportunities, covering 50,000 square kilometers. They also discussed sustainable mining practices, advanced technologies, and knowledge transfer. The minister also met with the Chairman of the Russian Aluminum Association, which oversees more than 80% of Russia's aluminum value chain. AlKhorayef reiterated the Kingdom's ambition to become a global and regional hub for aluminum manufacturing. Saudi Arabia currently produces 1.8 million tons of primary aluminum annually, with plans to scale up to 3 million tons. The Kingdom is targeting increased domestic demand across key sectors like aviation, packaging, automotive, and construction. Given Russia's role as the second-largest aluminum producer after China, the discussions underscored potential joint investment in the full aluminum value chain. AlKhorayef invited Russian mining leaders to participate in the 5th edition of the Future Minerals Forum, scheduled for January 2026 in Riyadh, which positions Saudi Arabia as a leader in shaping the future of the global mining sector. Saudi Arabia is estimated to hold $2.5 trillion worth of untapped mineral resources, including gold, copper, phosphate, and rare earth elements. The Kingdom has overhauled its mining investment regulations to attract local and international investors. Under Vision 2030, the mining sector's contribution to GDP is expected to rise from $17 billion in 2024 to $75 billion by 2030, making it the third pillar of Saudi industry. In the industrial sector, AlKhorayef held talks with executives from major Russian companies, including United Confectioners Limited—the largest confectionery producer in Eastern Europe. They discussed investment opportunities in food manufacturing and modern food production technologies. Saudi Arabia's food market is the largest in the Middle East, valued at SR184 billion in 2023 and projected to reach SR248 billion by 2035. The Kingdom is actively seeking over SR78 billion in industrial food investments through the National Industrial Strategy. Initiatives like the newly launched Jeddah Food Cluster, the world's largest specialized industrial food complex, reinforce Saudi Arabia's role as a regional leader in food industries. AlKhorayef also met with the Chairman of Salavat Steklo, one of Russia's largest manufacturers of float glass, to explore industrial cooperation and investment opportunities in the materials sector.
