Rap legend Snoop Dogg announces exciting new plans for Celtic Park
A rap legend has unveiled plans to launch a pop-up burger bar at Celtic Park, with Snoop Dogg promising to personally serve up gourmet burgers to fans of the Scottish champions.
The 53-year-old hip-hop icon and longtime Celtic supporter said he wants to challenge the reputation of underwhelming stadium food by bringing high-quality burgers to the stands.

In an interview with the Sunday Mail, he said: 'There has always been the opinion that food at sports stadiums is never good, but that ain't got to be the case.
'People know that Snoop is a cook, and I would love to bring a pop-up burger to a sports stadium to show fans that food at stadiums can be good.
'It's got to be Celtic Park, man, I mean, where else am I going to bring it?"

Snoop, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr, described the secret to a great burger as being all in the preparation.

He said: 'The secret to a good burger is the love in the preparation.
"The ground beef has got to be mixed with some secret spices, then add a good quality cheese and some maple-cured bacon.
'The Celtic fans are gonna love it, and to make sure they are just right, Snoop is going to be serving them himself.'
A self-confessed foodie, Snoop has appeared on numerous cooking shows alongside Martha Stewart and even authored a best-selling cookbook titled From Crook to Cook: Platinum Recipes from Tha Boss Dogg's Kitchen.
He's now set his sights on Scotland, revealing he hopes to open a restaurant in Glasgow with celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.

The rap icon revealed: 'I have told him I want to open a restaurant with him, and maybe it might even be in Glasgow.
'For real – we are always swapping cooking tips, and I do mean swapping.
'It's not just one-way traffic, I send him tips as well – he respects Snoop as a chef."

However, the California rapper has no plans to take the burger venture across the city to Celtic's rivals.
When asked whether he'd consider bringing his burgers to Ibrox, Snoop replied: 'Am I going to bring my burgers to Rangers as well? Nah, I think we will give that a miss!'

Celtic Park is already known for embracing bold flavours and street food innovation.
In 2023, Smokey Trotters Kitchen, a popular Glasgow eatery from the Barras Market, served up Katsu Fries—chips topped with salt and chilli chicken, cheese, curry sauce, crispy onions, and coriander.
Dishes like Scheme Poutine, loaded with haggis, cheese, crispy onions and peppercorn sauce, have also become fan favourites.
Snoop, who last performed in Glasgow in 2023, has been a vocal supporter of Celtic since their run to the 2003 UEFA Cup Final, and this latest venture deepens his connection to the club and its fans.

His goal is to renovate the hotel in 30 days and nights using seven somewhat magical power tools. The trailer gives a glimpse if tools like sand blasters and furniture canons. Players can blast wallpaper away, vacuum up trash, redecorate, and more in first-person. It may look a bit like House Flipper or PowerWash Simulator at first glance, but that's not exactly the full picture. The project isn't a life simulator, but rather a supernatural mystery game with some choice-driven gameplay. Cleaning the hotel, and the town around it, during the day will reveal details about what exactly happened at The Grand. Friday Sundae notes that there are several layers of deception at play during the 10 hour story, as even the game's hero is described as an unreliable narrator. Players will also be able to explore a small open-world in that time, where they can ride around the sea on a boat, search for buried treasure with a metal detector, or ride around on a scooter in search of side activities like mini-golf. There are seven main areas to restore in the hotel and each one has an NPC tied to it who's a bit of a caretaker (and also a talking cat named Mr. Bones the Bastard). That's where the game's musical component comes in, as each one belts out original songs by Friday Sundae. The team describes it less like a traditional musical and more as a collection of British punk and ska records. The gameplay completely changes once again when nightfall hits. Everything transforms into a horror game at that point, where players need to outrun ghosts as the hotel shifts. The power tools turn into weapons at that point, which can suck up or otherwise destroy specters. So, to recap: house renovation mystery musical with open-world elements by day, Luigi's Mansion-esque horror game by night, all of which has to be completed within 30 days and 30 nights. Got that? England win again after chase of 197 against West Indies

Snoop Dogg has told of his hopes to open a burger van at Celtic Park – and to serve fans himself. The West Coast rapper has previously spoken of investing in the Glasgow football club, similar to Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds's involvement with Wrexham FC. Snoop Dogg has already published a cookbook and claims to have spoken to chef Gordon Ramsay about a possible venture in Glasgow together – but he has now revealed he wants to set up a fast-food van at Celtic's stadium in the city's east end.
