Newly-single Orlando Bloom belts out Oasis hits as he heads to the band's show in Manchester after THAT awkward reunion with ex Katy Perry

Daily Mail3 days ago
Newly-single Orlando Bloom brushed off his awkward reunion with ex-fiancée Katy Perry as he headed to Oasis' reunion show in Manchester on Saturday.
The English actor, 48, took to his Instagram Stories on Saturday and shared a video of himself singing along to brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, ahead of their second performance in Heaton Park this weekend.
Orlando and Katy, 40, confirmed their split earlier this month as they entered a 'new relationship dynamic', but just days later were pictured together at pals Jeff and Lauren Bezos' honeymoon.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star seemed in good spirits on social media as he penned: 'Road to Oasis. Could not be more f'in excited,' while travelling to the gig.
'It's gonna be karaoke all night,' he declared as he flashed a smile at the camera.
Another snap showed him smiling and singing along to hit Don't Look Back In Anger in the background, as he relaxed on a boat.
Orlando and Katy began dating in 2016 and got engaged on Valentine's Day 2019, before welcoming their four-year-old daughter Daisy Dove into the world.
After the couple were trailed by rumours about the state of their relationship, it was widely reported that they have gone their separate ways.
Representatives for the pair have confirmed to DailyMail.com that 'Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting. They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is - and always will be - raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect.'
The insider further added that the reported breakup had been 'a long time coming' and that their relationship had also been 'tense for months.'
On Wednesday, Orlando posted about his reunion with Perry in a carousel of snaps, after awkwardly jetting off holiday together, despite their split.
The former couple's daughter Daisy - who turns five next month in August - was also seen with her parents on the Italian getaway.
In the wake of their separation, Orlando had whisked himself away to Venice to attend the star-studded nuptials between Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez this past weekend.
Katy, who had been a guest at Lauren's bachelorette party in Paris and was also one of the bride's fellow passengers on the controversial all-female Blue Origin space flight launched by Jeff, was not in attendance.
When it emerged that Orlando was going to the wedding alone, Katy's absence was explained away as a scheduling conflict with her Lifetimes tour in Australia.
At the wedding, Orlando was spotted mingling with a number of celebrities, including Kim Kardashian and Sydney Sweeney.
Fresh from three days partying at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's Venice wedding extravaganza, Orlando headed on board Ritz-Carlton's gleaming 794ft Luminara for its inaugural cruise from Rome.
Orlando was also recently spotted cosying up to Leonardo DiCaprio's girlfriend, Vittoria Ceretti, during a water taxi ride as they headed to the airport following the Amazon founder's wedding this past weekend.
A separate source recently told DailyMail.com that Katy had been left hurt by Orlando's actions.
'It's disappointing. It's hurtful and annoying. If he's going to behave like an acting-up adolescent, that's on him. She's going to continue to work and take care of Daisy.'
They added, 'Katy knows that he's free to do whatever the hell he wants to do, she hoped he'd do it a little more discreetly and thoughtfully. So she's disappointed and sad.'
During one of the early shows of her Lifetimes Tour in Mexico City this April, Katy had been seen sobbing while singing her song Pearl about leaving a troubled romance.
After news had spread of her split from Orlando, she once again fought back tears while addressing a concert audience in Adelaide, holding her hands in the shape of a heart and saying: 'Thank you, Australia, for always being there for me.'

Matt Tebbutt throws his support behind John Torode despite being lined up to replace him on MasterChef

SATURDAY Kitchen star Matt Tebbutt has publicly backed John Torode after the BBC asked him to step away from his MasterChef job. Even though Tebbutt, 51, is among the favourites to replace Torode, 59, should he walk away from the programme, he liked the Australian chef's rebuttal of an accusation of racism levelled against him. 5 5 Torode posted a statement on social media last night in which he confirmed he was the unnamed party who allegedly used racist language in a report into former co-star Gregg Wallace's conduct. He insists he has no memory of the incident and denies it ever happened. So far, he has not fallen on his sword and currently remains as the show's host. The claim against him emerged as part of an investigation into his shamed Wallace that saw 45 of 83 allegations of bad behaviour upheld against him. Now Wallace has been axed for good, food critic Grace Dent, who has already led the celebrity version of the show, is a favourite to present the amateur series too, and Tebbutt is also being lined up. It's believed he has already landed the job fronting MasterChef: The Professionals. He has experience of taking over a popular food show after the departure of an established host. Tebbutt replaced James Martin on Saturday Kitchen in 2016 after the Yorkshireman left the Beeb to host his own Saturday morning show on rival network ITV. A TV insider said: 'Both Grace and Matt are well thought of at the Beeb and the one thing they want in the wake of the show's recent crisis is familiarity and safety. 'They're also conscious that having a male and female pairing is a welcome break from it being fronted by two blokes.' Meanwhile, Torode was cited — but not named — in findings published over a racist remark he allegedly made during a private conversation. Torode, who has hosted the BBC1 cooking show with Wallace since 2005, was shocked to be told of the allegation — which did not receive a complaint at the time but had been raised with investigators. 'Devastated' Gregg Wallace FIRED by BBC over MasterChef sexual comments In a farcical turn of events, the BBC was unable to specify the time or date of the allegation, narrowing it down to '2018 or 2019'. Shockingly, sources said the BBC and production company Banijay asked John to resign from the beleaguered show last week and claim he had mental health problems — to which he refused. He issued a statement to The Sun confirming he was the individual in the Wallace investigation who was 'alleged to have used racial language on one occasion'. However John — married to actress and ex-Celebrity MasterChef contestant Lisa Faulkner, 53 — believes it never even happened. The dad of four said: 'The allegation is I did so sometime between 2018 or 2019, in a social situation, and the person I was speaking with did not believe it was intended in a malicious way and I apologised immediately afterwards. "I have absolutely no recollection of any of this, and I do not believe that it happened 'However, I want to be clear that I've always had the view that any racial language is wholly unacceptable in any environment. 'I'm shocked and saddened by the allegation as I would never wish to cause anyone any offence.' 5 5 It is understood to be the only issue involving him in the report, though a source close to him said he is 'absolutely devastated to have been pulled into this mess'. They went on: 'He was at drinks after filming when he is alleged to have used an inappropriate racial term. "The witness said he apologised instantly, and he was mortified. 'The witness even stated he didn't use the term as a slur. 'No one complained at the time, but it's been brought up during the inquiry. "Shockingly he was only made aware of the incident two weeks ago and was only informed on Friday that it would be upheld." John Torode's statement in full Following publication of the Executive Summary of the Investigation into Gregg Wallace while working on MasterChef, I am aware of speculation that I am one of the two other individuals against whom an allegation has been upheld. For the sake of transparency I confirm that I am the individual who is alleged to have used racial language on one occasion. The allegation is that I did so sometime between 2018 or 2019, in a social situation, and that the person I was speaking with did not believe that it was intended in a malicious way and that I apologised immediately afterwards. I have absolutely no recollection of any of this, and I do not believe that it happened. However, I want to be clear that I've always had the view that any racial language is wholly unacceptable in any environment. I'm shocked and saddened by the allegation as I would never wish to cause anyone any offence. The BBC called John on Thursday night, followed by an email on Friday, asking him to step back. He was told to have his answer by Monday. A source claimed: 'They ambushed him, and it was suggested he quit due to the stress and scrutiny of the furore around the show. 'Obviously he was absolutely shocked and appalled and told them quite firmly he didn't have any mental health issues. "To try to use mental health as a get-out clause seems incredibly low — and is also deeply unfair to those with genuine mental health trauma.

Billie Faiers mum-shamed for ‘flaunting wealth' as she throws festival-themed party for Nellie's 11th birthday

BILLIE Faiers has shared details of her daughter's 11th birthday celebrations - but followers are claiming the festival-inspired bash is 'OTT' and 'too much'. Former Towie star Billie shared the epic party labelled 'Nelly-Chella' on social media, which included a candy floss machine, pizza van, DJ, saxophonist and balloon-filled pool party at their Essex mansion. 9 Reality star Billie wrote: "The best day celebrating Nelly's 11th Birthday. Sooooo much fun from start to end. I absolutely love party planning and this theme has to be one of my favourite yet!! "As always thank you to the amazing suppliers that I work with. You all went above and beyond to make things extra special and absolutely nailed the brief to every last detail." Followers commented: "Think I got a tenner in a card for my 11th birthday." "Lovely - but too much!" remarked a second. "No pressure on the other parents then…" observed a third. "Never thought I'd be jealous of an 11-year-old's party," admitted a fourth. "Cannot imagine what the milestone birthdays will look like. Yes they can afford it and good for them, just don't put it on social media," suggested one user. "Nelly-Chella at 11? Nah, p**s off. Too much money." "Spoilt brat," barked another. Billie Faiers slammed for being 'out of touch' as she shows off expensive hot tub "Wow. If this is what happens at an 11th party what on earth will she get for an 18th/21st?" inquired a follower. Another user penned: "I think perhaps the issue some people are having are that it can be misconstrued as showing off. "There's so many people that can't afford to do much with the current climate as it is, so yes, naturally, people will feel like cr*p and maybe even bitter about it. "And that's absolutely okay! It's valid, times are difficult!! Is it extra for an 11-year-old? Yes. If I had their money, would I do the same? Yes! I think I'd go about advertising it differently though." The reality star was slammed by fans last month as she plugged a hot tub freebie on Instagram whilst also having a swimming pool in the background. The video sparked outrage from some followers who claimed the star promoted a product that does not have an 'affordable' price tag at £1,500. Billie shares Nellie, son Arthur and youngest daughter Margot with her husband Greg Shepard. Billie and broker-businessman Greg have been married since 2019 and live in a £1.4 million Essex mansion. It comes after the pair enjoyed a wild celebration for his 40th birthday, boozing on a yacht in Dubai, in March. 9 9 9 9 9 9

Dignity in Dying campaigner Emma Bray dies after vowing to starve herself to death 'to protect her children'

A mother battling motor neurone disease (MND) has died after vowing to starve herself to death to protect her children from witnessing a 'brutal' and 'terrible' death. Dignity in Dying campaigner Emma Bray spent her final days in a hospice this summer after voluntarily deciding to stop eating and drinking. The devoted mother-of-two, who has tragically died aged 42, previously revealed how she could no longer hug her children or wipe away their tears, but was determined to fight for a law change to help others. On Monday, Emma posted a heartbreaking final photo of her lying in a hospice bed in Devon, looking out over a row of trees. In a prepared message on her 'Stupid_mnd' Instagram account, she said: 'If you are reading this then I've finished my final spin round the sun. 'I've lived a very good life, surrounded by love, music and laughter and I want this to continue in my memory. 'Rather than shed a tear (or whilst you do) please plant a tree or call a friend, do a random act of kindness or take time to watch a sunset. 'For moments of doubt please ask 'what would Emma do?' and run with that probably inappropriate answer. Hug everyone a little tighter and love openly. 'Please surround those who were closest to me with love, time and patience. 'And to quote Frank Turner - Remember you get to dance another day but now you have to dance for one more of us. Love you, bye.' MND is a progressive illness that affects the brain and nerves, impacting the person's ability to move, eat and eventually breathe. Just days before the post, Emma revealed she had completed the 'bucket list' goal of seeing Alanis Morisette in concert with her friends. She wrote: 'After 29 years of true love I wasn't going to let a little inconvenient terminal illness let me miss this.' In May, the former charity worker who helped hundreds of domestic abuse victims and the homeless during her life, told The Mirror that she wanted to shield her 'amazing' children from the 'brutal' death she faced. 'I've had four different health professionals tell me I've got the worst disease possible,' she said. She wanted to spare them watching their mother suddenly choke to death and had planned her funeral and written her eulogy. She said they were forced to watch her crawl around the floor and deal with a constant stream of carers. 'My last bit of parenting I can do is to limit the suffering and trauma they have to witness,' she said. 'I made a promise to myself that I wanted to wait to see my daughter finish high school and my son grow up a little so I can picture the man he will become.' She also revealed her plans to stop eating and drinking when she moved to a hospice. The 'Voluntarily stopping eating and drinking (VSED) practice typically takes between 10 to 14 days to die. Emma had also backed the Assisted Dying Bill, arguing it would have prevented her loved ones suffering for two years with anticipatory grief. She added: 'Imagine seeing your children crying and upset and not be able to hug them or curl up in bed and wipe their tears away.'
