,a part of multi-party delegation member to key capitals to show India's zero policy of tolerance against terrorism on Sunday launched a scathing attack on Pakistan,calling it as a "aggressor" and "not the victim"
"Pakistan is an aggressor and not a victim...In today's meeting, we presented India's side. We told them that for many years, terrorists aided and trained by Pakistan have been carrying out terror attacks in India, and many people have lost their lives. We gave them all the data. Be it Mumbai blast, train blast, suicide attack in front of Jammu and Kashmir Assembly, Pulwama, Pathankot attack," Owaisi said.
"...We told them (the Bahrain government) that the efforts being made to destabilise India are not right. Neither is it good for South Asia, nor for the region. They also said that many people from different parts of India live here, so they all agreed that the people of India have made a huge contribution here. We also put forward our point," he added.
Meanwhile, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey said, "Bahrain will definitely support us at two places - in OIC (Organisation of Islamic Countries) - where Bahrain is not with Pakistan and Turkey... and also at the FATF. We have these two expectations, and we believe Bahrain will support us," Dubey told ANI.
Owaisi is part of the delegation led by Bharatiya Janata Party MP Baijayant Jay Panda. Other members of the delegation include BJP MP Nishikant Dubey, BJP MP Phangnon Konyak, BJP MP Rekha Sharma, BJP MP Satnam Singh Sandhu, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad and former Indian diplomat Harsh Shringla.

Earlier today, the delegation met Abdul Nabi Salman, the First Deputy Speaker of the Council of Representatives as part their diplomatic outreach designed to project India's united and resolute stance against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
The delegation also held a meeting with Bahrain's Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa on Sunday. During the meeting, the Members of Parliament emphasised India's commitment to combating terrorism in all its forms. Later, the delegation also met with the Shura Council Chairman, Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh.
Notably, Indian Embassy in Bahrain said that the two sides discussed issues of mutual interest.
"As part of the visit, MP Jayant Jay Panda and the accompanying parliamentary delegation met Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, where they discussed a number of issues of mutual interest, and emphasized India's commitment to combating terrorism in all its forms," Indian Embassy in Bahrain posted on X.
The Members of Parliament also visited Bab Al Bahrain, a prominent historical landmark in Manama.
On Saturday, the delegation led by Baijayant Jay Panda held a meeting with prominent figures in Bahrain. The MPs commended their contribution to strengthening bilateral ties.
The delegation will be visiting Kuwait from May 26-27, where they will be interacting with senior dignitaries from Government of Kuwait, prominent members of civil society, influencers, think-tanks, media and a cross-section of Indian diaspora, Indian Embassy in Kuwait said in a statement.

Pak raps India for 'twisting' Asim Munir's remark
Asim Munir ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Monday criticised India's ministry of external affairs, accusing it of "twisting" the remarks made by Army Chief Asim Munir during his visit to the US. The committee, it is learnt, was told by Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri that US President Donald Trump's imposition of steep tariff on Indian exports was not just a response to New Delhi's purchase of Russian crude oil but could also be connected to its presence in BRICS. New Delhi: The Centre told a parliamentary committee Monday that New Delhi will convey to Washington DC its displeasure over Pakistan's army chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, delivering nuclear threats from the soil of the United States, sources told ThePrint. Sources said Misri told the MPs that India would not tolerate such nuclear blackmail. ThePrint exclusively reported on 10 August that Munir, speaking at an event in the US, said, 'we are a nuclear nation, if we think we are going down, we'll take half the world down with us.' 'India's position will be conveyed to the US,' sources quoted Misri as having said. Misri is also learnt to have told the panel that the US's trade deficit with India may also have been a trigger for Trump, who first announced the imposition of 25 percent tariff on Indian exports to the US and later raised it to 50 percent citing the 'direct or indirect import of Russian oil'. The foreign secretary is learnt to have added that India will not cross certain 'red lines'—a reference to US's demand for India to open up its agriculture and dairy sectors—in its trade negotiations with Washington. 'The three issues that India believes could have acted as a trigger for Trump are purchase of Russian crude oil, trade deficit and India's presence in the BRICS multilateral grouping. India's position is very clear. Misri said New Delhi never considered BRICS to be an anti-Western bloc but believes it can be categorised, if at all, as a non-Western bloc,' an MP who was part of the meeting told ThePrint. Sources in the Indian establishment have previously argued that New Delhi's sale of processed Russian crude oil was necessitated by various European countries, who stopped importing from Moscow, becoming dependent on supplies from India. Apart from Misri, Commerce Secretary Sunil Barthwal was also present in the meeting that lasted over three hours. The officials told the MPs that the latest developments would not have any impact on India's 'friendship' with the US. 'Trade is just one aspect of India-US relations. There are many positives also,' one official is learnt to have told the committee. The officials added that India's trade relations, including defence purchases, would not be affected by Trump's announcements. In response to questions from MPs, they underlined that India is not trying to 'enhance' or recalibrate its relations with China or Russia in light of the US President's remarks and announcements.
