'Squid Game' have a happy ending? – know what the creators has to say
As 'Squid Game' Season 3 is on track to get released, the creator has some news on the ending of the season. The creator Hwang Dong-hyuk said something that might or might not meet the fans expectations and choice of an ending.
What did the famous drama creator say?
Hwang Dong-hyuk told The Guardian, 'The world, as I observe it, has less hope. I wanted to explore questions like, 'What is the very last resort of humankind? And do we have the will to give future generations something better?' After watching all three seasons, I hope we can each ask ourselves, 'How much humanity do I have left in me?''
A happy ending?
Dong-hyuk said 'People like a happy ending. I'm like that too. But some stories, by nature, can't have one. If you try to force one, the essence is compromised. If a story is holding up a mirror to something, then it's not always a happy ending. Squid Game is no exception.' So no, the well-known drama won't be having a happy ending, as the story as a whole had a lot of shocking terms.
Words of Lee Jung-jae, aka Gi-hun
'The finale was something even I didn't expect. So I'm sure a lot of fans will not see it coming. I think a lot of people will have different reactions. It's definitely going to spur a lot of conversation,' he said. The protagonist added further 'People have been so curious. A lot of them come to me asking for spoilers. I keep telling them that if you want to have fun watching season three, you just have to hold still. It's coming,'
Release date and where to watch
'Squid Game' season 3 will premiere today and can be watched on Netflix. Also, if you want to refresh your plot of the series or want to know about it, the whole series is streaming on the same platform, Netflix.

What to Stream: Ryan Coogler's Sinners, a Kesha album, SharkFest and John Cena with Idris Elba
Kesha enjoying her freedom on her first new album since she left her old label and Ryan Coogler's guts-spilling vampire film 'Sinners,' are some of the new television, films, music and games headed to a device near you. Also among the streaming offerings worth your time, as selected by The Associated Press' entertainment journalists: Charlize Theron in 'The Old Guard 2' on Netflix, National Geographic's 25-hour 'SharkFest' and John Cena playing a U.S. president opposite Idris Elba as the UK's prime minister in the comedy 'Heads of State.' – Ryan Coogler's 'Sinners,' arguably the movie of the year up to this point, begins streaming Friday, July 4 on Max. With $363.8 million in worldwide ticket sales, Coogler's supernatural thriller is one of the most successful original films of the last two decades. It stars Michael B. Jordan as a pair of twins who return to their hometown to open a juke joint in 1930s Mississippi. Vampires, and other dark forces, intrude on their plans. In her review, AP's Jocelyn Noveck wrote: 'How Coogler pulls everything off at once — and makes it cohere, mostly — is a sight to see.' – The wait has been long for 'The Old Guard 2' (Netflix, Wednesday), a sequel to Gina Prince-Bythewood's 2020 streaming hit starring Charlize Theron as a member of a team of centuries-old mercenaries. In 'The Old Guard 2,' shot all the way back in 2022, Victoria Mahoney takes over as director, while Theron returns as Andy, a warrior who has now lost her immortality. – In 'Heads of State' (Prime Video, Wednesday), John Cena plays the president of the United States and Idris Elba plays the prime minister of the United Kingdom. What could go wrong? In Ilya Naishuller's comedy, the two are hunted by the same adversary. Elba's politician, a former commando, is better prepared than Cena's president, a former action movie star. – A Zambian family funeral unearths a dark past and an anguished reckoning in Rungano Nyoni's beguiling 'On Becoming a Guinea Fowl' (Max, Friday, July 4). Nyoni's follow-up to the equally compelling 'I Am Not a Witch,' AP Film Writer Lindsey Bahr wrote in her review, 'cements the exciting arrival of a true filmmaker.' — Kesha is a free agent. On Independence Day, she'll self-release '.' (pronounced 'Period'), her first new full-length album since her departure from RCA and the Dr. Luke-founded Kemosabe Records in 2023. That year, the pop star and the producer settled nearly a decade of suits and countersuits over her accusation that he drugged and raped her and his claim that she made it up and defamed him. Across the 11-track release, Kesha is clearly enjoying some newfound freedoms: '.' is a stuffed with throwback, ebullient pop, like the sultry 'JOYRIDE.,' the country-and-western-themed 'YIPPEE-KI-YAY.,' and the bighearted power ballad 'DELUSIONAL.' — After a successful season 2, the cast of 'The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' gather for their first reunion episode on Hulu. #MomTok has a lot to hash out including infidelity rumors and accusations of clout-chasing. "Countdown: Taylor Vs. Serrano," debuts Thursday and is narrated by Uma Thurman. It will show Taylor and Serrano as they train and prepare for their third match. — A number of fin-tastic programs about sharks stream in July. The goal is to find ways for sharks and humans to coexist in the busy ocean. — Giant robots! Maybe you like the kind that can stomp across a city, crushing office buildings under their huge metal feet. Or you prefer the ones who can fly above the chaos, unleashing missiles at each other. Perhaps you'd rather have your mech just hang back and perform maintenance on the ones taking the most damage. Aap Jaisa Koi Album Out Now: R. Madhavan's Film Soundtrack Promises Love And Monsoon Melodies
Last Updated: R. Madhavan and Fatima Sana Shaikh's Aap Jaisa Koi album brings monsoon romance alive with soulful tracks like 'Mila Tujhe'. Out now ahead of Netflix release. As the monsoon clouds roll in, so does a new wave of cinematic romance — courtesy of Aap Jaisa Koi. Slated to release on Netflix on July 11, 2025, the heartfelt film starring R. Madhavan and Fatima Sana Shaikh promises to stir hearts with its emotionally rich soundtrack and tender narrative. And just in time for the season of longing and reflection, the film's full music album has been unveiled — a sonic monsoon in itself. Directed by Vivek Soni and produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra under Dharmatic Entertainment, Aap Jaisa Koi is more than a romantic drama — it's a story about rediscovered love, companionship, and what the makers call 'Barabari Wala Pyaar" — a love that feels equal, mature, and deeply earned. At the heart of the album is the moving ballad 'Mila Tujhe', composed by Justin Prabhakaran with lyrics by Raj Shekhar, and soulfully sung by Vishal Mishra and Prateeksha Srivastava. Capturing the delicate vulnerability between the lead pair, the song explores how silence can be the loudest expression of love — quiet, hesitant, and deeply human. Speaking about the album, R. Madhavan shared, 'The soundtrack is an integral part of this film's journey. Every song is rooted in honesty, reflecting the hearts of our characters. I'm grateful to our music team for creating such moving compositions, and I hope audiences feel the same connection with the music and our film, as I do." Fatima Sana Shaikh echoed his sentiment, adding, 'Each track carries its own emotion, weaving a tale of love and longing. This album feels like a gentle companion — one that holds your hand through every tender moment. The melodies echo the quiet beauty of our story, reflecting the emotional heartbeat of the film." The five-track album opens with the already beloved 'Jab Tu Sajan', composed by Rochak Kohli, penned by Gurpreet Saini, and sung by Mohit Chauhan — a song drenched in nostalgia and warmth. Kohli also delivers 'Dhuan Dhuan', an introspective number voiced by Sanjith Hegde and co-composed with Sharan Rawat, that explores emotional ambiguity and quiet desire. The romantic duet 'Saare Jag Mein' sung by Aanandi Joshi and Abhay Jodhpurkar continues the thread of tender intimacy, while 'Jaadu Wali Chimki', sung by Devendra Pal Singh and Vidhya Gopal, brings whimsy and playfulness to the mix. At its emotional core remains 'Mila Tujhe', which lingers long after the last note. Composer Rochak Kohli, reflecting on his contribution, said, 'The music of this album doesn't try too hard—it simply flows, giving it a timeless quality. I'm grateful to R. Madhavan and Fatima Sana Shaikh for bringing warmth and character to every song. I hope the audience connects with and feels every beat we've poured into the album." Justin Prabhakaran, who composed three of the five tracks, added, 'Our songs capture the emotional heart of Aap Jaisa Koi. They are deeply felt, beautifully crafted, and universally relatable. This album is about discovering beauty in stillness—we wanted the music to feel lived-in, like emotions that remain unspoken yet profoundly felt." Whether you're nursing old wounds or falling in love anew, the Aap Jaisa Koi album is your go-to monsoon soundtrack — a lush blend of romance, reflection, and lyrical grace. For those who find comfort in music that wraps around the heart like a shawl of memory, this one's for you. First Published:
