NBA Rising Stars rosters 2025: Players, format, rules and coaches
Before the 2025 NBA All-Stars come out to play in San Francisco, we'll get to see the young studs tearing it up.
That's right, it's the annual Rising Stars event, which has gone from being a game to a whole tournament.
Here's how it works: four teams will play each other, and they'll have a target score to hit (the Elam Ending!), and the winners of the first two games will play each other for the title. And the winning team will play in the All-Star Game tournament on Sunday.
Got it? Good. Here's a look at the four rosters coached by some NBA legends, with one team made up of G Leaguers:

Golden State Warriors jersey history - No. 14 - Estes Foster Parham (1950-51) The Golden State Warriors have had over 600 players don the more than 60 jersey numbers used by their players over the more than 75 years of existence the team has enjoyed in its rich and storied history. For this article, we begin with the fourth of 13 players who wore the No. 14 jersey for the Warriors. That player would be Golden State wing alum Estes Foster Parham. After ending his college career at Texas Wesleyan University, Parham was picked up with the 35th overall selection of the 1948 BAA draft by the (defunct) St. Louis Bombers. The Fort Worth, Texas native would play the first two seasons of his pro career with the Bombers, and was picked up by the Dubs in the Bombers dispersal draft in 1950 for his final season in the league. DENVER (AP) — When he re-signed with the New York Mets last winter, Pete Alonso saw an opportunity to become the team's career leader in home runs and multihomer games. He checked one record off his list Sunday with a pair of two-run shots in a 13-5 victory over the Colorado Rockies — and the burly first baseman is closing in on the other. Advertisement Alonso's 23rd multihomer game broke a tie with Darryl Strawberry for the most in Mets history. The four-time All-Star and two-time Home Run Derby champion now has 243 career homers, passing David Wright (242) for second place on the franchise list — nine behind Strawberry. 'Honestly, it's just one of those things where I can't really be too involved in it,' Alonso said. 'For me, I just want to win. Whatever happens, capitalize on certain pitches in the zone, then I'll get my chance to do so by helping my team win. That's always been the focus.' Alonso hit two of New York's season-high six homers to help complete a 5-2 trip. He has six home runs and two multihomer games in June after going deep just four times in 27 games in May. He went 5 for 14 during the weekend series and has raised his batting average from .288 to .301 over the last eight games. 'There's a lot to like about his bat right now,' manager Carlos Mendoza said. 'Just dominating pitches in the strike zone. That's who he is.
