Sana'a mayor inspects damage to homes after US strike on Thaqban area
Sana'a - Saba:
Capital mayor Dr. Hamoud Ubad on Monday inspected the extensive damage inflicted on citizens' homes following the "US aggression's crime" of targeting Thaqban neighborhood in Bani al-Harith district. The strike resulted in numerous deaths and injuries, predominantly women and children.
Accompanied by head of the Capital's Emergency Operations Room and district director mayor Ubad listened to harrowing accounts from victims' relatives and residents about the horrific massacre, the damage to their properties, and the terror they experienced when three homes were bombed by the US aggression.
The Mayor stated that this incident is part of a pattern of crimes committed by the US aggression against civilians in residential neighborhoods and popular markets," classifying it as a war crime, a crime against humanity, and a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.
He emphasized that these "crimes of the US aggression will not be subject to any statute of limitations, and that the blood of the martyrs will not be in vain. Instead, he asserted, it will strengthen the resolve, steadfastness, and perseverance of the Yemeni people in confronting their enemies and continuing their support for Gaza and the Palestinian people, regardless of the challenges and sacrifices.
Ubad concluded by stating that the escalation and deliberate targeting of civilians, residential areas, and civilian infrastructure in Sana'a and other governorates by the US aggression is evidence of its "criminality, bankruptcy, confusion, and failure."

Al-Ahrar Al-Filastiniyya says Zionist enemy using art to starve innocent people to death, bomb homes, shelters
Gaza – Saba: Al-Ahrar Al-Filastiniyya Movement said on Saturday that the Zionist enemy is deliberately using its art to starve innocent people to death and bomb homes and shelters, with their residents inside, in full view of the Arab and Islamic world. The movement added in a statement, "In response to this, we do not see any Arab or Islamic condemnation or action. We are united with them by one Eid. How can the Arab and Islamic nations live while the Palestinian people are being slaughtered in cold blood with the weapons of hunger and genocide? How can they enjoy a holiday?" The movement pointed out that the Nazi Zionist enemy once again committed a horrific, bloody massacre during the blessed Eid al-Adha, targeting the home of the Abu Sharia family in Gaza, leaving more than 15 martyrs and many more wounded, some of whom remain under the rubble to this day. It condemned in the strongest terms the criminal Zionist enemy's perpetration of these massacres and slaughters against innocent civilians, children, and women, holding the US administration fully responsible for these crimes, as well as the Zionist Nazis for their unlimited support in terms of equipment, supplies, and international cover. The movement emphasized that the Nazi Zionist enemy and its fascist leaders are persistently targeting innocent Palestinian children and women, every time the resistance fighters make them taste the horrors of hell, open its gates upon them, and pelt them with the stones of David, destroying their pride, shattering their chariots, and humiliating their embattled army and leaders. The movement condemned the suspicious international silence regarding the ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people, which only whets the appetite of the Zionist enemy to continue its aggression and commit more war crimes, with the green light in its hand. The movement called on "international and UN organizations, and the unjust world that applies double standards, to assume their responsibilities, pressure the Zionist enemy to stop the bloodshed in the Gaza Strip, and work seriously to halt the crimes of genocide against the people of the Gaza Strip." EU discusses considering imposing partial sanctions on Israel
Brussels-Saba: European Council President Antonio Costa has confirmed that the European Commission is preparing a legal report for action against Israel, which is expected to be presented to the Council of Foreign Ministers on June 23. Press sources reported that this anticipated report could open the door to imposing partial sanctions against Israel without the need for a unanimous vote of all members, if it is determined that Israel is not fulfilling its human rights obligations under Article 2 of the Association Agreement with the EU. Referring to the content of the anticipated report, Costa said in a press statement, "The situation in Gaza is absolutely unacceptable, and when you watch your channels and read your newspapers, I think the conclusion you will reach is clear." It is noteworthy that 17 of the 27 countries requested this legal assessment, while nine countries opposed it. Article 2 of the agreement provides a legal framework for the special relationship between Israel and the European Union in several areas, including trade. Although completely canceling the Association Agreement requires the unanimity of member states, which some countries are expected to oppose, the EU is considering partial steps that could reduce the agreement without requiring unanimity, requiring only a special majority. Four European diplomats told Politico that pressure is mounting on the European Commission to submit practical proposals to downgrade relations with Israel if it is proven to be violating the human rights clause in the agreement. Two weeks ago, French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot called for a review of the agreement, and previous reports indicated that France, Britain, the Netherlands, and Belgium were exploring the possibility of recognizing a Palestinian state.
