Chow Yun Fat has no problem taking photos with fans, encourages to post online

A Chinese fan who was lucky enough to get a photo with Chow Yun Fat. Photo: Xiaohongshu via Sin Chew Acting legend Chow Yun Fat was recently spotted jogging in Beijing's Chaoyang Park by fans. Those who encountered the 70-year-old star not only managed to take photos with him, but also found him warm and welcoming. According to a report by Sin Chew , Chow displayed no airs and happily posed for solo and group pictures. This isn't unusual, as Chow has long been known to stop and take photos with fans during his runs in Hong Kong. And it looks like he's keeping up that tradition while in China. The report added that he even jokingly told the fans: 'If you take a photo, you must post it online.' Unsurprisingly, his down-to-earth attitude has earned him even more admirers. That said, Chow is known to be focused while running. In this case, however, he had just finished his workout when the fans approached him. He reportedly told them: 'I'm almost done running. We can take photos now.' It was when some fans said they wouldn't post the photos online and wanted to keep them as personal mementos that Chow encouraged them to share the moments on social media.

(Video) TVB True Crime Show Reignites Discussion About Bruce Lee's Sudden Death

It's been nearly 50 years since cinema and martial arts icon Bruce Lee (李小龙) passed away, leaving behind a legacy in film. However, his death is still shrouded in mystery, with the public still wondering why and how the legend died at such an early age. Earlier this week, Hong Kong broadcaster TVB premiered a new show titled 'Ctrl+F The Truth' that dives into several talked-about cases in the country's history. For its first case, the show discussed the mysterious death of Bruce Lee. The film icon died on 20th July 1973 at the young age of 32. There was no official cause of death, but it was concluded that Bruce Lee died from cerebral oedema. At the beginning of the episode, hosts Anthony Fong and Vinky Wong mentioned that there are many theories and suspicions about Bruce Lee's death. As part of their investigation, the program obtained court documents and testimonies about Bruce Lee's death from 14 people, including his wife Linda Lee and film producer Raymond Chow. Raymond was also the one who rushed the actor to the hospital, right before he was pronounced dead. After diving into the circumstances of Bruce Lee's death, the show summarised the sequence of Bruce Lee's death, revealing that he had already passed away while he was at the home of actress Betty Ting. The program also discussed the suspicion about how Raymond had concealed the actor's medical history when at the hospital. Months before his death, the star collapsed on set and had seizures, but this information wasn't disclosed to doctors. Renowned HK doctor Michael Mak, who was on duty at Queen Elizabeth Hospital during Bruce Lee's death, brought up three of his suspicions about the case. One of his suspicions was regarding Dr Eugene Chu, who tried to resuscitate Bruce Lee at Betty's home. He revealed that Dr Eugene had a lack of urgency about the actor's death, which was puzzling given the star's background and condition. While the show couldn't determine what exactly happened to Bruce Lee, it received praise for its detailed investigation and reporting. Meanwhile, fans continued to mourn the death of the icon and honour the impact he had in the film industry. (Video) SEVENTEEN's Joshua, DK, & Dino Confirm Visit To Malaysia For Upcoming Mister Potato Event

Fans never tire of hearing exciting news about their favourite K-pop idols coming to Malaysia for concerts, fan meetings, or special appearances at brand events. We're only halfway through 2025, and the list of stars set to visit our shores is constantly being updated. Joining the list are three members of a popular boy group. Recently, Mister Potato Malaysia shared a photo featuring the silhouettes of three male idols, teasing K-pop fans with the news that they'll be making their way to Kuala Lumpur for a special appearance. Many made their guesses on who they could be, and it seems that the majority are correct! Last week, Mister Potato Malaysia announced their Jinjja Crunch collaboration with SEVENTEEN (세븐틴) members Joshua, DK, and Dino. The announcement video features the idols posing with three different flavours of the popular snack; Original, BBQ and Sour Cream & Onion. While an official statement regarding their visit to Malaysia has yet to be confirmed, the singers themselves appeared to spoil the surprise by posting a behind-the-scenes vlog of them filming promotional content for the brand. In the video posted yesterday (Tuesday, 22nd July), the members can be heard excitedly announcing that they'll be coming to Malaysia soon. 'We have 진짜 exciting news for you guys. We love you, Mister Potato! See you in Malaysia!' they said in the vlog. That particular moment quickly went viral among Malaysian fans, with many expressing their excitement about the visit. Some commented on how surprised they were to hear the news directly from the members before the brand had made an official announcement. Others are hoping that the upcoming event will be held at a larger venue, rather than a shopping centre, to accommodate not only meet-and-greet winners but also other fans who wish to see them in person. However, Joshua, DK, and Dino were not the first to spoil the surprise as MAMEE-Double Decker Group CEO, Mr. Pierre Pang, previously posted on his IG Story about the event when the brand first teased about the collab. At the time of writing, Mister Potato has yet to make the official announcement about the upcoming event with the 3 SEVENTEEN members. While we wait for more details, here's the behind-the-scenes vlog of the singers confirming their visit: The promo announcement video they filmed: Sources: Instagram, YouTube
