Shaq makes one thing clear about ‘Inisde the NBA' joining ESPN next season
Shaquille O'Neal has made it clear that he is not going to change at his soon-to-be new network.
During an appearance on the 'Rich Eisen Show' on Friday, O'Neal once again stood firm on the fact that he and co-host Charles Barkley will not change their personalities for ESPN.
'I don't have any concerns because I know one guy that you're never going to change, and I know another guy that's really close to him,' O'Neal said. 'The other two guys — listen, Ernie [Johnson] is a consummate professional and he can adapt to any situation.

'Ernie is the guy that really keeps us out of trouble and Kenny is professional, but Chuck is right there on the line and I'm right below Chuck. Chuck's not changing. I'm not changing.'
O'Neal, 53, also pointed to 'The Pat McAfee Show' on the network as a model that 'Inside the NBA' could potentially follow next season.

'I actually saw something yesterday where it said ESPN is going to give us the same no-look that they give Pat McAfee,' O'Neal added. 'So, listen, we're just going to go have fun, do what we do and talk about the game that we love and just try to make people laugh.'

Both O'Neal and Barkley have insisted on multiple occasions that they plan to stay the same despite the network change, with the latter saying last month that he dares ESPN to fire him.

'I'm not going to change my personality,' Barkley said during an episode of Outkick's 'Don't @ Me with Dan Dakich,' per Awful Announcing.
'Ain't nobody — they can't fire me. I make too much money to get fired. So, they can't fire me. First of all, if they fire me, they got to pay me for seven years, and I'm going to quit way before then. But if they want to fire me, I would love for them to do that.

'The only decision we've been making is how long I'm going to work. … I'm not worried about getting fired. And nobody at ESPN is going to tell me what to say or do. Period.'
'Inside the NBA,' which has aired on TNT since 1989, will make the switch over to ESPN next season.
Turner is still set to produce the show by licensing it to ESPN.

ESPN Trade Proposal Sends Trey Hendrickson to Bills
ESPN Trade Proposal Sends Trey Hendrickson to Bills originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Buffalo Bills are in an arms race with the rest of the AFC, but they are also in a race against time. Super Bowl windows don't last forever, and while having Josh Allen under center means it won't slam shut, each passing season increases the likelihood that one of the titans of the sport walks away empty-handed. Advertisement As such, urgency remains high in Orchard Park. The Bills clearly aren't afraid to acquire talent via trade or signing. Twice, Buffalo has acquired post-prime edge rushers to chase down the conference's best quarterbacks. However, signing Joey Bosa isn't necessarily enough to get over the hump, especially after an offseason injury clouded his production. That lends itself to additional speculation, including a recent brainstorm from ESPN, linking Cincinnati Bengals edge rusher Trey Hendrickson. The Bills' hypothetical trade proposal lands the final piece of a championship defense for just a 2026 second-round pick. 'The Bengals have made it clear they don't want to give away Hendrickson, so I'm not even sure the Bills' (likely late) second-rounder would be enough,' ESPN said of Dan Graziano's offer. 'But if the Bengals' demands drop, I could see Buffalo pouncing to secure the veteran edge rusher it needs to take down Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes in the playoffs. Advertisement 'With offseason pickup Joey Bosa already injured, this move would help the Bills' pass rush add a stronger, healthier option. Hendrickson might not get the new contract of his dreams, but perhaps Bills general manager Brandon Beane could sell him on an improved chance to get to the Super Bowl.' The biggest obstacle to this deal getting across the finish line is the balance of power in the AFC. Like Buffalo, Cincinnati is dangerous – no matter what – with quarterback Joe Burrow. It took an act of Godly sabotage to make a defense so bad a season ago, and the Bengals aren't incentivized to make one of their main competitors even better while making their defense worse. However, pairing Hendrickson with Gregory Rousseau along the edge with two quality starters between them at tackle would be Buffalo's best attempt at mirroring the Philadelphia Eagles, who beat Kansas City in the trenches to win the Super Bowl. The Bills have a quarterback capable of going toe-to-toe with the best player in the sport. It is worth paying for a defense that can do the same. WATCH: Ohio State football members pick NBA finals winner
WATCH: Ohio State football members pick NBA finals winner It's not college football, but there is a championship on the line beginning this week with the NBA finals commencing. In fact, the Indiana Pacers already took Game 1 vs. the Oklahoma City Thunder in a thrilling finish. With the close proximity to Columbus, you would think that most Ohioans are rooting for the Pacers, but what about the athletes playing on the Ohio State football team? The Ohio State football creative team recently dropped a video asking the players who will take the NBA finals, and the reviews were rather mixed. Again, you'd think those from the Midwest would be all in on the Pacers, but that wasn't necessarily the case. In fact, quite a few Buckeye football players (and coaches) picked the Thunder to hoist the trophy. Remember, while there's a lot of Ohio natives and DNA in the program, OSU recruits at a national level, so there are rooting interests beyond the upper Midwest. Watch as several members of the Ohio State football program give their thoughts on whether it'll be the Oklahoma City Thunder or Indiana Pacers in the 2025 NBA Finals. We, for one, would love to see Indiana get its first NBA title, and this feels like the year in which it could happen.

Abdullah Mason vs. Jeremia Nakathila live results, round-by-round updates, ring walks after Keyshawn Davis' weight miss
Abdullah Mason vs. Jeremia Nakathila headlines Saturday's event after Keyshawn Davis massively missed weight for his fight against Edwin De Los Santos. () Uncrowned has Abdullah Mason vs. Jeremia Nakathila live results, round-by-round updates, highlights, ring walks and start time for the Mason vs. Nakathila fight card on Saturday night at the Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia. Mason vs. Nakathila is the new main event after Keyshawn Davis vs. Edwin De Los Santos was canceled Friday evening. Davis was more than four pounds over the 135-pound lightweight championship limit at the official weigh-in and was thusly stripped of his WBO lightweight world title. Advertisement Davis' and De Los Santos' teams then attempted to negotiate a deal, which would've allowed the fight to take place. The teams discussed a rehydration clause and a six-figure financial penalty but ultimately could not reach an agreement, so the fight was called off at the eleventh hour. With Davis losing his title, the stakes have been raised for Mason's bout with Nakathila. Mason, the WBO's No. 2-ranked lightweight contender, will likely be ordered to face WBO No. 1 Sam Noakes for the vacant title later this year. However, Nakathila could snatch that position with an upset win. It is the third bout for Mason (18-0, 16 KOs), Uncrowned's runner-up for 2024 Prospect of the Year, in the first half of 2025. Mason, 21, stopped Manuel Jaimes in February and then retired Carlos Ornelas in his first regional title bout in April. Nakathila (26-4, 21 KOs) is on a three-fight win streak after back-to-back second-round knockout defeats at the hands of Raymond Muratalla and Ernesto "Tito" Mercado in 2023. Nakathila extended Shakur Stevenson the 12-round distance in their 2021 WBO interim super featherweight title bout. Advertisement In the night's co-feature, Kelvin Davis (15-0, 8 KOs), brother of Keyshawn, steps up to 10 rounds to face Nahir Albright (16-2, 7 KOs). Keyshawn defeated Albright by majority decision in October 2023, but the result was changed to a no-contest after Davis tested positive for marijuana. Now, Albright takes on a second Davis brother on Saturday. Mason vs. Nakathila begins at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN+, with the main card starting at 10 p.m. on ESPN and main event ring walks expected at 10:45 p.m. ET. Follow all of the action with Uncrowned's live results and play-by-play of the main card below.
