Saie launches new Slip Tint Setting Powder - and here's why it's a summer staple
Saie has recently launched its brand new Slip Tint Undetectable Baked Setting Powder to rival Laura Mercier's iconic Translucent Setting Powder.
I have been using Laura Mercier's Translucent Setting Powder for years to soak up any excess oil around my T-zone, but it may have met its match with Saie's new drop.
What I love about Saie's Slip Tint is it is a multi-purpose make-up cosmetic as it functions as a setting powder, highlighter and bronzer – depending on the shade – as it adds an extra glow to my complexion while minimising any shine.
This clean formula has been crafted using Phytosqualane, Silica, Hyaluronic Acid andlipids extracted from Jojoba Esters plant to create a skincare and make-up hybrid. This setting powder reduces excess oil, while also hydrating the skin. It offers a glowy finish, despite its function to reduce oiliness and set your make-up in place. Available in five shades, including very light to light, light to medium, medium to tan, tan to deep and deep to rich. BUY NOW FOR £26
Firstly the Saie Slip Tint is a pressed powder rather than loose powder, which I personally prefer to prevent wasting any product.
The Saie Setting Powder is as lightweight on the skin as it promises to be, yet it delivers a natural glowy finish, sets your make-up in place without a single trace of setting powder or a cakey finish.
This talc-free setting powder has been formulated with clean ingredients, including Phytosqualane and Silica, which work to smooth and blur any fine lines or enlarged pores. It also absorbs excess oil for a flawless finish.
The formula also contains hydrating hyaluronic acid, as well as Jojoba Esters, which contains lipids that smooth and hydrate the skin, while providing a film to hold your make-up look in place.
The powder promises to hold your make-up for eight hours, which I can attest to. In fact, I have worn it from day to night in the height of summer without my make-up budging.
I always seek out non-comedogenic formulas to prevent any breakouts, which is another big tick this Saie creation delivers on.
This setting powder is available in five shades, including very light to light, light to medium, medium to tan, tan to deep and deep to rich, so you can perfectly colour match the product to your skin tone. This is rare when it comes to setting powders and what sets it out from the crowd as it doesn't dull or lighten your complexion like others.
While Saie's Slip Tint reduces any oily areas around my T-zone, it also lifts, brightens and adds a glowy finish to my complexion too, though it is not pearlescent or shimmery. While I opt for the light to medium shade on oily areas, I have also experimented using other shades as a bronzer on my cheeks, which was equally as effective in adding a pop of colour and definition to my cheeks without leaving me too shiny or one dimensional.
This setting powder has been dermatologist tested, so it is safe to use on sensitive as well as blemish prone skin.
Whether you sweep all over the face, or on select areas, is entirely up to you.
Already Saie's Slip Tint has garnered an impressive 4.9 out of five stars from shoppers.
Gloria's review read: 'I've been using this pressed powder and I'm seriously loving it. It gives me a natural finish without looking cakey. My skin still looks glowy like a soft, healthy glow, but not glittery or shimmery at all. It just looks like my skin, but better. I use it to set my make-up and it blends so nicely.' More Trending
While Angie added: 'I enjoy this powder, it is light on my skin, doesn't not look powdery and it sets my make-up beautifully! I like how the shade is flexible since I'll be able to wear it once the season changes. There is no scent to it but there's some radiance to it, so this won't give you a matte look, which I appreciate since I have dry skin! it does not sit in my fine lines either!'
A separate shopper, named Dahlia, echoed the same sentiment and shared: 'I am a huge powder girly and I've been looking for one that sets my makeup but doesn't look dry, especially under my eyes. I use it all over my face and under my eyes and it sets my makeup without taking away all the glow I want to keep. It looks really good under my eyes too and they finally don't appear crusty. The formula feels buttery almost! I love the compact and this will last me a long time since a little goes a long way.'

Emmerdale fans 'work out' Belle's new romance after huge clue
Emmerdale fans are wondering if things are about to change for Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) where the world of romance is concerned. Belle has been single following a horrific ordeal that saw her abused by husband Tom King (James Chase). When Tom and Belle got together, it wasn't long until we started to see signs of controlling behaviour from him. At first, Tom's actions were small, but he then became hellbent on isolating Belle from her entire family. Over the next year, Tom was responsible for installing security cameras in the house, tracking Belle's every movement, physically and mentally abusing her, as well as pretending her dog Piper had died in an attempt to get close to her again. Belle eventually reported Tom and he was sent to prison for three years. In February of this year, Belle decided she would begin divorce proceedings, but it meant visiting Tom in prison. Fortunately, strong-willed Belle was able to stand up to Tom and ignore his attempts at getting inside her head. Since then, she has worked hard on her healing journey, and has even started running Take a Vow in the wake of Leyla and Suzy's deaths. It's clear Belle is in a much better headspace after allowing herself time to recover from Tom's abuse. As a result of things being brighter for Belle, it of course gives her the opportunity to contemplate dipping her toe back into the dating pool. Just recently, Kammy Hadiq star Shebz Miah shared a picture of him and Eden Taylor-Draper sitting on a sofa together. They were smiling at the camera and wearing smart outfits. The post has got a lot of fans talking, and plenty of them are now wondering if this could be a clue that Belle and Kammy will share a romance storyline together soon. 'Kammy and Belle?? Could this be a future relationship', a follower said in the comments section. Another wrote: 'Omg, are they getting together on Emmerdale? If so, I saw it coming a mile away.' This fan echoed the hopes of Belle and Kammy (Kelle? Bammy?) being a thing and said: 'Beautiful photo pair of brilliant actors Get them together Emmerdale and don't spoil the relationship.' Kammy Hadiq made his arrival to the Emmerdale village in March of this year. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? Who's leaving Coronation Street? More Trending Now though, Kammy has made friends with other members of the Dales, one of them being Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson). After Vinny attempted to kiss Kammy, he's been reluctant to talk about how it made him feel. I'm a WWE expert – I'm shocked the Netflix documentary went so far
To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video When Netflix announced new docu-series WWE: Unreal, it's fair to say there were some concerns. I've been Metro's WWE and pro wrestling expert for almost six years now, travelling the world (and logging onto Zoom) to speak to the biggest names in sports entertainment, from The Undertaker and Becky Lynch to Triple H and Rhea Ripley. Even I had my reservations. I make a living out of sharing real life stories, but how far should the curtain be pulled back on a business built on the suspension of disbelief? The new five-part series – which launches today with all episodes available to binge – had promised an unprecedented look behind the scenes, from the writers room and beyond. After watching all five episodes over two days earlier this month, I can safely say director Chris Weaver has crafted a uniquely touching and surprising look at the world of wrestling that only adds to the magic. Wake up to find news on your TV shows in your inbox every morning with Metro's TV Newsletter. Sign up to our newsletter and then select your show in the link we'll send you so we can get TV news tailored to you. It's impressive that the team crafted something that will work for the uninitiated just as much as the diehard fanatic, succinctly explaining terms like 'heel' (bad guy), 'babyface' (good guy) and 'Gorilla Position' (WWE's backstage production hub) without patronising. Almost from the get-go in episode one, we get to see the writing room, getting a glimpse at how Paul 'Triple H' Levesque and his creative team put together hours of television a month. It almost feels a bit naughty listening into to these meetings over the entire season, as they debate Royal Rumble winners, John Cena's heel turn, and even how to motivate Jey Uso on the road to WrestleMania. Episode 1 – New Era Episode 2 – The Push Episode 3 – Worth the Wait Episode 4 – Heel Turn Episode 5 – WrestleMania There are moments fans have seen reports of in the news, but never seen with their own eyes. That all changes here. The first episode delves into the Raw premiere on Netflix in wild detail, even showing how producer Chris Park (AKA Abyss) worked with Seth Rollins and CM Punk on their January 6 main event. I found myself actually feeling a little heartbroken, as the TNA Wrestling legend got a dressing down from boss Bruce Pritchard for the match overrunning. It went down brilliantly with fans at the time, but here the executive calls it 'overwritten', leaving Abyss – a mountain of a man – almost cowering as he apologises and asks if Bruce is mad at him. It's not a moment that paints the executive in the best light. Elsewhere, we see Chelsea Green pushing back on the ending to her Saturday Night's Main Event match where she became the first ever Women's United States Champion. We delved into it with her last week, but seeing her discussions with producers – as well as hearing her journey firsthand – is fascinating. Just as engaging is the in-depth character pieces Netflix have created for each episode, putting the superstars front and centre as their true selves, with the likes of Cody Rhodes, John Cena, Triple H, Bianca Belair and more all heavily featured. One of the season's highlights comes in episode four, Heel Turn, which goes into startling detail on John Cena's turn to the dark side earlier this year. WWE's production is second to none, and their partnership with Netflix is on full display with a stunningly-presented timeline about how Triple H communicated with a close knit circle to pull it off without anything leaking. Triple H only spoke to The Rock, John Cena, Cody Rhodes and Travis Scott about the big plans, even keeping it hidden from right hand man Bruce until the very last second. The episode also showcases how WWE's veteran director had to call everything on the fly, cutting to different cameras and capturing the action despite not knowing what was coming. Cena's heel turn was thrilling to watch in the moment – but it's just as exciting follows the drama happening just behind the curtain. I won't spoil too much about the series, as it's a genuinely enthralling ride from start to finish, culminating fittingly at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas. What I will say is that something many fans were fearful of may actually be the best thing for wrestling – and superstars like CM Punk still manage to tread the line without giving too much away. If you already love WWE, you'll love seeing how they create the magic. If you've never given it the chance, you'll gain a deeper respect for pro wrestling as an artform. You'll weep for Rhea Ripley as she breaks down her devastating shoulder injury which has left her with a lump on her shoulder until she finally decides to undergo surgery. More Trending You'll cheer for Jey Uso as he finally gets his moment at the Rumble with his son watching in the front row. And you'll gain a deeper respect for the men and women that step into the ring all in the name of entertainment. Yes, it's scripted. Yes, it's a show. But the glory, the drama and the sacrifice are as real as it gets. WWE truly is Unreal. View More » WWE: Unreal is available to stream on Netflix. Got a story? The best supportive swimwear styles for bigger busts - according to a bra expert
Metro journalists select and curate the products that feature on our site. If you make a purchase via links on this page we will earn commission – learn more Bikini season is here, but for many women with bigger busts, finding the right swimwear can be a tiresome and fruitless task. With so much swimwear only available in generic, letter sizing and seldom made with larger chests in mind, it can often feel near impossible to find the perfect, actually stylish and sexy, well-fitting swimsuit – especially if you're larger up top than you are down below. And what often happens when you've not got a swimming costume that fits well? You don't feel confident or comfortable, and truly, life is too short. So, to help get our facts straight and find the swimsuit brands that truly care about your boobs (and making them look banging in a bikini), I spoke to Katie Weir (Weir Wonderful), a professional Lingerie Expert, to give us the 411. After years of swapping high street triangle bikini sets for bigger tops and smaller bottoms, Katie discovered cup-sized swimwear at age 19 and hasn't looked back since. Now, her mission is to ensure that every woman is educated when it comes to her lingerie and swimwear buying decisions. Because who wants to feel miserable at the beach? Not us. Read on for all of Katie's big boob-friendly recommendations – and some tips on finding the best styles to suit you, too. shop £25 (save £12) 'Many swimwear styles look cute but lack shape. It's the underwired designs that'll offer the lift and support you need to defy gravity. This Sapphire Seas design by Curvy Kate shows that big bras aren't boring, featuring a gorgeous electric blue design that sparkles in the sunshine (and fits all the way to a K cup!) The scooped neckline offers support with less coverage so that you can feel the warmth on your décolletage, while the bandeau style gives K cup ladies the chance to wear swimwear without the straps for minimal tan lines.' shop £37 'The best way to boost your bust for cleavage on the beach is with a balcony bikini style – this shape lifts all your breast tissue from the bottom of the cup into the top cup for Bridgerton-style cleavage! This Jet Set style from Curvy Kate is a simple black bikini designed with foam lined, underwired cups for lift and shape, making it ideal for any comfortable beach day. Fastening at the back with a clip and with fully adjustable straps, it can easily be adjusted for the perfect fit.' shop £90 'Whether you're winter swimming or just love a more covered look, this full coverage swimsuit with a chic floral print is a total must. Panache's Grace Long Sleeve Zip Front Non Wired Swimsuit which supports your bust and offers moderate coverage to the bust and arms. For added support you can wear your bikini under or feel the gentle lift of the non-wired shape.' shop £60 'Curvy Kate offers slightly sexier fits when it comes to their swimwear, and this Ziptide swimsuit is just this and more, bringing you the ultimate little black swimsuit without the wires. This fully-lined swimsuit uses quick-drying swim fabric for support and comfort, while the secure zipper front offers a sporty feel with adjustable coverage. It's even got versatile straps that allow for multi-way and a supportive racer-back position! The size range (S-XXL) fits from a 30DD/E to a J/JJ cup making this range inclusive and supportive without the wires.' shop £64 'If you want the longest pins on the Promenade, you need an adjustable leg style like this one from Curvy Kate. The Holiday Check Swimsuit features drawstring details to lengthen the leg, ruching the fabric so that it hits just above the hip for an 80's feel. You can also loosen them for more coverage. Many bikini bottoms and swimsuits now feature drawstrings for versatility *adds to wishlist*.' shop £32 'This one goes out to all the ladies who thought they couldn't wear a triangle bikini: A string bikini that supports and offers coverage without the fear of nip slip! The Ibiza Bikini is THE string bikini for summer, available from DD/E cup all the way through to J/JJ cup. It features thicker straps to ensure the weight of your bust is distributed better for less pull on your neck. You decide the coverage with the ruched cup details – from full to Love Island coverage, whatever matches your vibe. You can even do a kriss cross neckline or upside-down triangle, making this string bikini so much more than your average string bikini.' shop £42 (save £23) 'Designed to make you feel supported but still sexy, the Adella Calypso is the fuller figure swimsuit you want on your roster, available in a selection of colourful prints. More Trending This curve-friendly style features twist detail plunge cups that have been lined with supportive mesh and feature a concealed underwire for great uplift and shape. Better yet, the lightweight control mesh lining in the front offers a subtle smoothing effect, while ruching detail gently defines your waist for a snatched look that looks as good as it feels.' 'Too many of us let our body hang-ups hold us back, but this is your reminder: Wear the damn bikini. Be in the pictures. Rock the bikini-and-denim-shorts combo. Make the memories. If you're not sure what size you are or how something should fit, don't guess. A professional fitting (yes, even virtually!) can transform how you shop and how you feel.
