A former schoolmate of Lucy Letby has made a startling disclosure after revealing photos of the convicted baby murderer attending her wedding while on police bail. The nurse was initially apprehended in July 2018 under suspicion of killing eight infants and was formally charged in November 2020. She was later convicted in two separate trials for the murder of seven babies and the attempted murder of seven others. Read everything you need to know about the case.
Dawn Howe, who attended Aylestone Secondary School in Hereford with Letby, unearthed a collection of photographs during the new ITV documentary titled 'Lucy Letby: Beyond Reasonable Doubt?'
Some of the images depict Letby grinning and dancing at Dawn's nuptials, which occurred amidst Cheshire Police's inquiry into whether the neonatal nurse from Countess of Chester Hospital was potentially the UK's most notorious child murderer. In the documentary, Dawn remarked: "Definitely got some holiday snaps, birthdays, holidays I've forgotten we even had. The wedding photos are definitely my favourite."

With a chuckle, she continued: "There is Lucy at my wedding. I am just so glad she could be there because it was while she was on bail, she had to get special permission to be allowed to come from the police."
One striking photo captures Letby, clad in a red blouse and grey skirt, smiling as others around her applaud on the dance floor.
Another snapshot features a newlywed Dawn strolling by Letby, who joyously tosses confetti into the air.

Dawn and Lucy, who met during their teenage years, reminisced over wedding photographs with Dawn remarking: "Shortly after this she was held in custody so... I don't think Lucy has seen these."
Reflecting on the shock of her friend's arrest around her wedding time, Dawn said: "I watched it all unfold every step of the way. I just couldn't believe it. It was beyond belief that this could be happening."
The programme later shows Dawn again, this time driving to the school where she and Letby spent much of their youth.
Within their circle, Dawn noted that Lucy was the only one with a definitive career ambition, recalling how during her A-levels, she aspired to "be a nurse and deal with really poorly babies".
On camera, Dawn expressed her disbelief about the allegations, saying: "We were here and then university and then a few years after university is when she is supposed to have gone off on this killing spree.."
Since September the Thirlwall Inquiry has been examining how the former neonatal nurse was able to murder or attack 14 babies at the Countess of Chester Hospital.

When the guilty verdict for Letby came through in August 2023, Dawn was at work and recounted feeling "dumbfounded" upon hearing the news.
Her first thoughts turned to what would happen to Letby, as she said: "She can't just spend the rest of her life in prison."
Despite losing two appeals against her convictions last year, Letby's legal team, headed by barrister Mark McDonald, presented new evidence from international experts to the Criminal Cases Review Commission in April, seeking to overturn her convictions.
Dawn remained a steadfast supporter of Letby throughout the trial and continues her support, yet she confessed to feeling guilty for enjoying freedom while her friend faces 15 whole-life sentences.
She reflected: "I am living a life Lucy should be living beside me in parallel. We should both be having families and we both bought our houses and we were looking forward to the next chapter of our lives and then all this happened.
"It is just... there is so much guilt that I am sort of living a life that Lucy should also be living."

Eva Price Returns To The Cobbles... And She Won't Be Alone!
ITV have confirmed that Corrie favourite Eva Price is returning to the cobbles this autumn as the landlady of The Rovers Return, and she won't be alone! Catherine Tyldesley is back filming top secret scenes in Weatherfield and she has been joined by two exciting new additions to the cast. Acclaimed actors Aaron McCusker and Pauline McLynn will be arriving alongside Catherine as Eva's partner Ben Driscoll and his interfering mother Maggie. Eva and Ben will be revealed to residents as the new owners of The Rovers Return in October - putting Eva back behind the bar of the nation's favourite pub for the first time since 2018. Eva will be reunited with her sisters Leanne and Toyah, as well as catching up with her old friends and neighbours. But what has she been up to since she left Weatherfield and how will this new clan fit into the drama on the Street? Also joining the cast will be Ben's two sons and Eva's daughter Suzie and it is safe to say the Price/Driscoll family will be arriving with a bang and a suitcase full of secrets. Corrie fans will recognise Pauline as Mrs Doyle in Father Ted and Libby Croker in Shameless. She also appeared in Eastenders as Yvonne Cotton in 2014. Aaron is best known for playing Jamie McGuire in Shameless, he also starred as Jim Hutton, Freddie Mercury's boyfriend, in the 2018 feature film Bohemian Rhapsody. Catherine left Coronation Street in 2018 after seven years on the cobbles. Since waving farewell to Weatherfield she has appeared in dramas such as Viewpoint, Suspicion, Scarborough and most recently The Good Ship Murder. Coronation Street producer Kate Brooks said: 'We are beyond thrilled that Eva is returning as the landlady of the Rovers, with her new blended family in tow. The Driscolls do not arrive quietly, so expect big drama, explosive secrets and raucous knees ups galore. To have actors of Catherine, Aaron and Pauline's considerable calibre at the beating heart of this family is absolutely wonderful, and we can't wait for you to get to know and fall in love with them as much as we have already done. Strap yourselves in, it's going to be an exciting and eventful ride.'

Emmerdale fans 'solve' who Ray was on the phone to - and who he's working with
Emmerdale fans think they know who new villain Ray was speaking with on the phone on Tuesday, and who on the ITV soap he might be working with amid him targeting Dylan Ray in Emmerdale was shown making a cryptic phone call with an accomplice during Tuesday's episode of the ITV soap. Now, some fans are convinced he's working with a familiar face. Just weeks on from Joe Tate being tipped to be in cahoots with Ray, a mystery scene in the latest episode has sparked more theories. Ray was shown targeting both Dylan Penders and April Windsor, before speaking to someone about their dodgy dealings. It comes as spoilers revealed April would be the villain's next target, with him already dragging Dylan into his drug dealing. Next week April will be left torn as she's manipulated into a drug drop by Ray, with it not revealed if she goes through with it or not. On Tuesday night we saw Dylan turning down a job from Ray, who feigned acceptance of this. It was clear he was manipulating the teenager, giving him loads of money and claiming to be his friend. With Dylan not keen to help Ray, he told him he couldn't help him on the latest job and Ray said it was okay. But at the end of the episode we saw him spying on both Dylan and April, before making a worrying comment. He was speaking to someone on the phone but their identity was not revealed. Ray told the mystery person that April was "sweet and innocent" and would be perfect for whatever they had planned. He claimed she would be "of use to them", no doubt with their dodgy dealings and jobs like the ones Dylan has been doing. But who was Ray speaking with, and who is he working with? Viewers had a theory or two about this, believing we already know the person on the other end of the phone. Some fans have gone back to the Joe theory, believing they are working together. Another theory speculated that fellow newcomer Celia might be linked to Ray. One theory said: "Anyone else curious as to who Ray was on the phone with? I reckon it's someone we know like Joe." Another post echoed this theory saying: "Is Ray working with Joe?" Meanwhile another fan commented: "Imagine if Ray was working with Celia." It comes amid Celia teaming up with Moira Dingle after both of them had drama with the Tates. Celia had a farm related business offer amid Moira's financial woes, while Celia revealed Kim Tate had raised her rent. Fans wondered if Celia was really helping Moira or if she was secretly against her. Coronation Street first look as Eva Price returns alongside sitcom legend
Coronation Street bosses have confirmed that actress Catherine Tyldesley will be reprising her role as Eva Price on the ITV soap, but she is not coming back on her own Coronation Street bosses have confirmed that Catherine Tyldesley will be reprising her role as Eva Price on the ITV soap. The actress, 41, left the cobbles in 2018 but is making a comeback which will see her take on the coveted position of Rovers Return landlady. Eva left the Street with daughter Susie, who at the time was four months old. But when she heads back to Weatherfield later this year, she arrives with new partner Ben Driscoll, played by Aaron McCusker, who is best known for his role as Jamie Maguire in Shameless and also starred in Bohemian Rhapsody as Freddie Mercury's boyfriend. It comes as reports emerged that the new owner of The Rovers had been revealed amid her return. Now the soap has confirmed the theory by fans, announcing Eva will be back in the pub once owned by her mother. What's more, Pauline McLynn, who made her name as Mrs Doyle in the classic sitcom Father Ted, has signed on to her interfering mother-in-law Maggie Driscoll and will be seen alongside Eva and Ben when they take over the nation's most famous pub in October. With them will be Susie and Ben's two sons. Former Emmerdale boss Kate Brooks, who took the reins of Coronation Street earlier this year, said: "We are beyond thrilled that Eva is returning as the landlady of the Rovers, with her new blended family in tow. The Driscolls do not arrive quietly, so expect big drama, explosive secrets and raucous knees ups galore. "To have actors of Catherine, Aaron and Pauline's considerable calibre at the beating heart of this family is absolutely wonderful, and we can't wait for you to get to know and fall in love with them as much as we have already done. Strap yourselves in, it's going to be an exciting and eventful ride.' Reports surrounding the return of Leanne Battersby's sister emerged earlier this year, but then nothing was announced until now. It's thought that the move has come about after EastEnders bosses revealed that Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) and Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) will be taking over the Queen Victoria pub on Coronation Street's BBC rival. A source told The Sun: "Corrie bosses were never going to take EastEnders shrewd decision to reinstate Kat and Alfie at the Vic lying down. So they took their time looking for the perfect actor to play her husband to Eva as she makes her return to Corrie as the new boss of the Rovers." The insider added that Corrie bosses knew they had found the 'perfect' actor as soon as the Irish-born star walked into the room. They added of his character: "Aaron's character is also someone not to be messed with, and the locals are going to be in for a shock if they think they can take advantage of his good nature and that cheeky Irish charm. "It's the start of an exciting new chapter in the pub's history." Following her time on the cobbles, Catherine competed on Strictly Come Dancing. She has also starred in The Good Ship Murder and earlier this year appeared opposite Siobhan Finneran in an episode of the ITV drama Protection. She was also set to star Bonnie and Clyde: The Musical last year but it was cancelled and she went viral over a social media scandal known as Cakegate in late 2023.
