Wrexham: Olly Pearson comes 4th in Britain's Got Talent 2025
The series was won by magic act Harry Moulding, who claimed the £250,000 prize and a spot at the Royal Variety show.
Fellow North Walians Han & Fran, from Llandudno, finished ninth.
Olly reached the final after earning a Golden Buzzer in both his audition and semi-final, and tonight (May 31) performed renditions of Wings' Live and Let Die, and Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody.
He received a standing ovation from all four judges for his performance, and said afterwards: "That just felt like I was on top of the world. I don't know how to explain it."
Bruno Tonioli said: "We all love a rock 'n' roll star, and you're one of them. You're a little Brian May."
Alesha Dixon told him: "What a way to close the show. You're such a little superstar; you are so talented, it's ridiculous."
Simon Cowell added: "You're absolutely technically brilliant. When we talk to you backstage, you're really, really shy, and then you get on stage with that guitar, and you're a completely different person.
"Forget about your age; you're just a brilliant, brilliant musician, and you're gutsy."
Amanda Holden said: "That was unbelievable. We forget that you're a kid. That was super professional and massively entertaining… once again, you did yourself proud."
Olly, who was the last of the 11 finalists to perform tonight, is competing for the chance to perform at the Royal Variety Show, and to win a £250,000 cash prize.

Olly Murs speaks out about X Factor experience as ex-stars slam ITV show
Olly Murs - who competed on the 2009 series of The X Factor - has addressed the criticism surrounding the show after a string of previous contestants hit out at the former series Olly Murs has defended the legacy of The X Factor after a string of stars slammed the programme. The show, created by Simon Cowell, has produced some of the biggest names in music, but while the majority of the contestants celebrate their experience, others have hit out at it. In recent years, the programme has come under fire, with some former stars claiming that there was a lack of care – an allegation which has been strongly denied by the production team. After 2011, the programme began to see a decline in viewing figures before it was announced in July 2021 that it would no longer air. Over the course of its tenure on TV, the show produced winners including the likes of Leona Lewis, Rak-Su, Little Mix, Ben Haenow, Louisa Johnson and Matt Cardle. Meanwhile, other successful artists such as One Direction, Olly Murs, Fleur East, Stacey Solomon and Rebecca Ferguson have gone on to have successful careers, despite not winning. It comes after reports of all the celebrities rumoured to be joining BBC Strictly Come Dancing 2025. But Olly, who has been fiercely loyal to the programme, has now opened up about the legacy and how important it has been in the music industry. "I think there's no doubt we can all sit here and say that the X Factor was huge," he commented. Speaking to BBC Radio Lancashire ahead of his headline slot, turning on the Blackpool Illuminations on August 29, he continued: "It's hugely successful for creating such stars, from the One Direction boys, to Harry Styles, Niall has obviously done things, Louis, I mean, all the boys from that band came out and did great stuff. "You know, me, James Arthur, Little Mix, Lucy Spraggan – there's some real, I mean, the list goes on and on, to be honest. Alexandra Burke! There have been endless people who have come. Stacey Solomon, of course, even though she's not doing music, she's doing so well herself." Olly went on to say: "There's just so many over the years that have just had such big careers. That's the thing. That's what the show was built on, bringing young people off the street or young people an opportunity and a chance to change their lives forever. We took it and embraced it and look where we are now." Speaking about turning on the iconic Blackpool Illuminations, Olly told the press: "Very honoured to be asked, over the years so many iconic artists have done it so it's going to be a cool night and I'm very excited to do it." Reflecting on being asked, Olly revealed: "Surprised but happy and I've no doubt will be a super day, plus all the tickets are free for the event." But what will the cheeky Essex chap be performing on the night? He explained: "Yeah, I'll be performing a full set with all the hits, and yes, I'll be playing new music which is exciting for me! Looking forward to the fans getting to hear it." "Dance With Me Tonight," he revealed would be his one song to sum up the experience of Blackpool, as he explained: "Blackpool is a place for the families to have fun and enjoy the festivities all year round. From young kids to grandmas, this song gets everyone moving! I look forward to seeing everyone dance to it." For more information on this year's Switch-On event and Blackpool Illuminations, please visit: The switch on takes place on Friday, August 29.

Britain's Got Talent star welcomes first child after IVF struggle
Jade Kilduff, who received the Golden Buzzer on Britain's Got Talent in 2020, has welcomed her first child with her fiancée Devon Booth - and they've given him a unique name A new member of the Britain's Got Talent f amily has arrived. A star of the ITV talent show who scooped the prestigious Golden Buzzer has announced that her fiancée has welcomed their first child together. Posting a touching photograph and disclosing the infant's charming name, Jade Kilduff, who appeared on the long-running ITV series in 2020, has shared the joyful announcement on social media. Golden buzzer winner Jade, 23, disclosed how she and her fiancée Devon Booth were expecting to become parents earlier this year, with this now becoming reality for the couple. "Our little miracle Kobie Jackson Booth Kilduff was born 4/8/25 and our world has never been more complete," Jade wrote on social media alongside a collection of adorable photographs. The cute image showed their baby son resting on his back in baby grow displaying the message: "You are my everything." Jade's mum was one of the first to comment on the post, with the proud new grandmother gushing: "Sobbing. Kobie you are everything we dreamed of and more. Beautiful boy, Grandma loves you all the world, you are totally perfect xx." Waterloo Road star Hattie Dynevor, daughter of Coronation Street legend Sally Dynevor, wrote: "Congratulations!!! He's so beautiful." Another of Jade's followers added: "Bless him. He's so lovely. I love his blanket." A third wrote: "He's so cute. Welcome to motherhood. Also well done @devon_booth23." In another video, Jade shared footage on Devon in labour and the first time they met their new bundle of joy. The adorable montage also included the moment the new parents left the hospital with baby Kobie. Jade, who appeared on Britain's Got Talent in 2020 alongside her Sign Along With Us group, had previously opened up about their struggle to conceive. "A year ago was our lowest point going through our IVF struggles in private and thinking it was never going to work," Jade shared in a recent TikTok. "But now we couldn't be happier. Devon is pregnant and our little boy will be born soon." Jade shot to internet fame in 2020 after posting videos of herself and her brother, Christian, who has cerebral palsy, singing along to pop tunes on her 'Sign Along With Us' YouTube channel. This led to their appearance on the ITV talent show. The siblings formed a choir consisting of 37 children and 28 adults, and their performance on Britain's Got Talent (BGT) was so impressive that David Walliams hit his golden buzzer for them, making it the first act of that series to receive such an honour. During Jade and Christian's BGT performance in 2020, a poignant moment at the beginning showed how Jade taught her brother sign language after doctors warned he might not be able to communicate. Following their televised performance, Jade appeared on Good Morning Britain where she revealed that doctors initially believed Christian was stillborn. She explained at the time: "Christian came to us as my foster brother because my parents were foster carers. He was actually stillborn and he didn't take his first breath for 24 minutes, which led to him having a brain injury. He's got cerebral palsy, he's registered blind he has a big long list of medical conditions. But we just saw the potential this amazing little boy had." She added: "We were told he would never be able to talk and would be in a wheelchair for life. We didn't want to accept this and I started doing sign language with him - it literally unlocked his life and now he's the amazing little boy he is today."
