The Bognor Regis and Minehead resorts are open to day visitors from 10am to 8pm, with the Skegness resort open until 6pm. There's a packed schedule of live shows throughout the day in the Skyline Pavilion, all included in the price of a day visit. Only Fools and Horses fans asked to pay up to £500 plus VAT to meet David Jason

Those who pay the fee will be banned from taking their own selfies, asking for autographs or even giving gifts to Sir David Only Fools and Horses fans are being asked to pay up to £550 to spend 'a moment' with Sir David Jason. The Del Boy star, 85, will pose for a picture as part of the deal at a two-day convention at a hotel in Milton Keynes this October. But unlike his wide-boy character, fans will be unable to avoid VAT, as the venue is cashless, and there will be no money back and no guarantee for ticket holders if they suddenly can't make it. ‌ Those who do turn up will be banned from taking their own selfies, asking for autographs or even giving gifts to Sir David. A disgruntled fan last night said: 'Lets just say, I wouldn't describe it as lovely jubbly.' ‌ Details of the money-spinner emerged after Sir David griped last year how he was "slightly upset" at being best known for playing Derek Trotter. The offer comes 12 months after the Mirror reported how organisers of last year's convention were charging at least £325 for tickets to meet the star. A cheaper bronze package for this year's event is available for £100-a-person, which will not include the chance to meet Sir David. Buyers will be able to watch an on stage talk with the star and director Tony Dow and are promised an 'opportunity to meet other star guest actors' from the show. But if they want to get their autographs, further charges will apply. A silver package is being sold at £350, which will allow fans the chance to get one 8x6 picture, described as 'FREE', with Sir David. The £450 gold package offers the same perks, plus 'Ltd Edt Convention Montage personally signed by Sir David Jason (before the Convention and given to you upon arrival at Registration)', 'central seating location in the ballroom' and being 'amongst the first tables called up to meet David Jason'. ‌ Those who buy the £550 platinum ticket are further promised 'VIP Seating – front row table with unobstructed view!' and '1 x FREE ticket to the Saturday Night Karaoke (includes evening meal)'. Fans that do get to meet Sir David will do so in a mock-up of Del Boy's flat inside Mandela House. The website says: 'Eligible ticket holders will finally have their 'Moment with Sir David Jason', posing for a photograph in the Trotter Flat, as well as all attendees having the chance to meet the other guest actors and add their autograph to your collection! ‌ 'We kindly request no gifts are to be given to Sir David Jason as this will take up all of the allocated time for your photo. 'Due to time constraints, Sir David will not be signing any items across the Convention weekend. We kindly ask you do not bring anything to attempt Sir David to sign as it will not be permitted. We will have staff on call to ensure this in fairness to everyone.' 'There will be NO 'Selfies' at the event with Sir David Jason. Selfies are left to the discretion of the other guest actors, although most are very happy to pose for a photograph if asked politely. ‌ 'We do not charge for a 'selfie'! Crew Members will be sat with each actor and happy to assist with the taking of your photo. If your ticket(s) do not include a signed photo / mount, ticket holders are able to purchase a signed Convention Photo / Mount subject to availability across the weekend. "There are no in person autograph opportunities across the weekend with Sir David Jason. The convention's website adds: 'We are delighted to return with the Karaoke on the Saturday Night. It will commence around 7pm and finish by 12pm (midnight). 'Purchasing a Karaoke ticket includes entry to the karaoke and an evening meal (hot buffet selection chosen by the venue). You must ensure that you are attending the Convention on either day to be able to attend the Karaoke. 'NO SELFIES / AUTOGRAPHS will be signed by any actors who attend the Karaoke – please allow them to enjoy their evening. Other guest actors in attendance WILL be signing any items of your choice including Props and Van Doors.'

Ronnie O'Sullivan and former fiancee Laila Rouass agree deal to seal clean break

The snooker icon, 49, is now understood to be planning to quit the UK and move to the Middle East where he has a snooker academy Ronnie O'Sullivan and Laila Rouass have agreed a deal to sell their former home, as they prepare for a clean break. The former couple, who announced in December they had split after an on-off 12-year relationship, put the five-bed home up for sale for £2million earlier this year. A source told the Mirror: "The property has now been sold, subject to contract." ‌ Seven-time world snooker champ Ronnie, 49, and former EastEnders and Footballers Wives actress Laila, 53, jointly bought the house, in Woodford Green, east London, for £1.35million in June 2018. The dad-of-three is now understood to be planning to quit the UK and move to the Middle East where he has a snooker academy. ‌ Speaking after being knocked out of the World Snooker Championship, which ended last month, Ronnie admitted: "There's going to be a few changes in my life. I think I'm going to be moving out of the UK. "I'm going to start a new life somewhere else. I'll still try to play snooker, but I don't know what the future looks like for me, really. "Am I not playing again? I'm not saying anything. I've said it so many times. I'm not saying anything other than I'm moving away soon. There's a lot more important things in life to worry about than a game of snooker." Ronnie and Laila, who got engaged in 2013 but never married, first got together in 2012 after she was shown around a previous house of his while she was property hunting. He later asked her out via the estate agent, who was a pal of hers. Their relationship was rocked by claims Ronnie's mum Maria had called Laila "a prostitute" and the couple initially split in February 2022. They reconciled just months later, but then parted ways again last year. ‌ Laila confirmed she and Ronnie had decided to split for good following months of speculation after she was seen without her engagement ring during an appearance on This Morning in August last year. She later wrote on Instagram: "Break ups can strip you down to your essence. "I got through mine by using pain as fuel to take control because no matter what, we will lose parts of ourselves in relationships. It's normal, don't beat yourself up. "One thing I'm conscious of not doing is trying to get back where I was. No, I'm discovering who I've become. I've gone through various emotions... hurt, pain, anger, but what I've realised about anger is that it's bottomless. "The thing about break ups... It doesn't have to be a sad time. It doesn't have to be hard. It can be the beginning of new adventures, new learnings. "It can be a wonderful teacher. Using self-compassion and manifesting a new life without someone you love can still lead you to a place of joy."

I went on holiday alone to an all-inclusive family resort and it was ridiculous

I went on holiday alone to an all-inclusive family resort and it was ridiculous Travel writer Emily Malia visited Club Med's all-inclusive luxury resort set in a "lesser known spot" in Turkey Now I can't stop dreaming about the Taurus mountains Turkey was not a place that fell very high on my list of dream travel destinations, writes reporter Emily Malia. Nor was heading by myself to an all-inclusive mega hotel that specialises in family holidays. That is, until Club Med put Palmiye on my radar, and now I can't stop dreaming about the Taurus mountains and tucking into the truly exceptional buffet. As someone who loves to immerse themselves in the culture of a new place, I have to say I had my doubts about an all-inclusive Turkish experience, but was pleasantly surprised by how much I could absorb without leaving the resort. ‌ The stunning, lesser-known coastal spot an hour outside of Antalya, Turkey, is tempting for travellers who want a true holiday experience without the hustle and bustle of tourist towns, reports the Mirror. ‌ Every day that I woke up at Palmiye, I couldn't help but look up in awe at the peaks surrounding us, whether it was on my walk to breakfast, lounging around the pool, or looking back out at the resort from the boat. This scenic view acted as the backdrop to all of my moments spent at Club Med, and if I close my eyes, I can still picture them towering over me. Emily Malia made a trip that she will not be forgetting anytime soon (Image: Emily Malia ) It's the all-inclusive aspect that appeals to families who are desperate to keep their kids occupied and have a sense of freedom, all within the confines of safety. Of course, being childless and in my twenties, I can't talk about the experience of family life in Palmiye, but feeling safe and having opportunities to meet new people was also important to me. Article continues below Activities Club Med Palmiye offers an eye-watering amount of activities for both adults and kids alike – from tennis lessons to paddle, volleyball, Pilates, water skiing, yoga and more. It would be virtually impossible to try and squeeze it all into one week, and they don't expect you to. The idea is that you can start lessons on your first day and, by the end of the week, potentially have picked up a new skill. As a solo traveller, it can feel daunting booking onto activities and excursions, whether it's down to fears of being scammed, your safety, or just the general admin of booking. ‌ I found myself constantly going back to lounge around the zen pool at the very end of the resort, submerging myself in an adult-only area. No screaming kids or splashing water and, more importantly, a bar with a beach view. Although this wasn't unique to this pool, each one of the resort's six main pools has a bar right by it and is never far away from the beachfront. Club Med Palmiye offers an eye-watering amount of activities - but there is always the option just to enjoy the sunshine ‌ If you're less of an active traveller and just want to unwind, the Palmiye resort has not one but two spas – one in the Villagio area and another based in the newly renovated hotel. It was here that I lived out my true White Lotus dreams with a relaxing back massage catered to my own choice of scent, product and pressure. After, I entered another dimension by slipping into the sauna. The next time I saw my masseuse was when we were both dancing the night away at the Efes bar. In fact, that was a common theme throughout my trip: bumping into the Club Med team as though they were old friends. Everyone working at the resort was friendly, fun, happy to help and, most of all, looked like they enjoyed their own free time. ‌ Food This resort was ridiculous, in every sense of the word, and I mean that with the utmost positivity. I didn't know what day it was, my screen time was low, and the food sent me into a dream state. When I talk about enriching yourself in a true Turkish experience, that is where Club Med's incredible chefs come on board, across their four in-house restaurants. For the latest restaurant news and reviews, sign up to our food and drink newsletter here There was a range of foods to enjoy at the eclectic buffet ‌ Like any vegetarian, I go into a restaurant with anxiety that I'll get lumped with a lack of choice, but here it was quite the opposite – I was overwhelmed. The Olympus restaurant offers a chef that specialises in their own cuisine, prepped there and then in a live-cooking station – whether you want a true Turkish kebab, trusty Italian dishes or Asian-inspired foods, you are truly spoilt for choice. Almost all of the produce is sourced locally, and so while you're dining, you know you're tucking into true Turkish cheeses, chicken and salads. As someone who loves nothing more than a Greek salad on holiday, I couldn't have asked for more from the Olympus, where they deliver an entire station with chopping boards so you can customise and build your own salads. ‌ I couldn't help but be blown away by the settings in which the Topkapi restaurant sits. It has a stream running alongside it and blue waters that you overlook from the terraces. Entertainment There ain't no party like a Club Med party. The brand's slightly unhinged twist on entertainment is perfect for getting everyone involved, even the most apprehensive of Brits. From their theatrical performances in the huge amphitheatre, their early evening jazz-esque singers, or their full-blown dance parties, wherever the staff were, the party was. Above all, the standout nighttime entertainment had to be at the Club Med White Party, which I was informed is a weekly occurrence across all of their resorts. Not only are you greeted by a sit-down, all-white setting, reminiscent of an extravagant wedding, paired with mouth-watering food, but also five-star entertainment. ‌ As I tucked into my food, I watched beautiful acrobatic routines before the resort's manager kicked off the night's dance party. Before I knew it, there were drummers, dancers and sparklers galore, circling their way through the crowd. When we practically conga-lined our way over to the Efes bar, there were dancers on podiums, a trusty DJ, and a saxophone player on the dancefloor – it was as though Club Med had transformed itself into an Ibiza beach club for one night only. Newly renovated hotel When the day is done, whether it's an early night or an early morning finish after partying until the bar shuts at 1am, you have the option of staying in a newly renovated hotel room. Fresh, modern, and with a Mediterranean vibe to it, with an endless number of rooms offering both pool and sea views, I couldn't really complain. ‌ The modern bedroom boasted stunning views (Image: Hunter & Gather ) One of my favourite aspects of the resort was that your all-inclusive wristband also worked as your room key. It sounds so simple, but my god was it handy; I could bid farewell to the stress of losing a room key, and it also meant that for people sharing a room, especially families, they never had to worry about sending the other back off to the room. Everything about the hotel screams 'relax', from the light wash colours of the décor, to the quiet ambience inside, and the way every room and exit flows into one another, so you're never finding yourself lost. ‌ Inside the all inclusive hotel that has gotten Emily thinking - there's no going back! My stay at Club Med Palmiye has most definitely made me rethink the idea of travelling to more all-inclusive resorts; they know just how to do it right. I've spent an extortionate amount on food and drinks on holidays before I even got around to looking at activities or travel to excursions, so at a price starting from £1,981 per adult, I think it's great value for money. Not only do I think you get your money's worth, but you also get the trip of a lifetime. How to book A seven-night all-inclusive stay at Club Med Palmiye, Turkey, starts from £2,654 per adult (based on double occupancy) with return flights from London (LGW) and transfers. Article continues below Without flights, seven-night all-inclusive stays start from £1,981 per adult (based on double occupancy). You can find out more and book on
