
Investigation underway into fatal shooting

An investigation is underway into a fatal shooting that took place Saturday afternoon in southwest Calgary.
At around 4:30 p.m., police responded to reports of gunshots in a parking garage in the 8700 block of Horton Road S.W.
Police and emergency responders arrived to discover a woman in her 20s suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds. Despite lifesaving efforts by EMS, the woman died.
Police believe the incident to be targeted. No one is in custody at this time.
An autopsy has been scheduled for Tuesday.
