'Baseless and unfounded': Hamas responds to Trump's accusations
According to a statement shared by Turkey's Anadolu Agency, the group told Washington to "take its moral and legal responsibilities, stop supporting Israel, and stop giving it cover for its crimes against Palestinians."
Izzat al-Risheq, a member of Hamas, made the statement in reaction to what U.S. President Donald Trump said about the movement: he said it was "stealing" aid.
What Trump Said
Earlier Friday, Trump told the news site Axios that Hamas was taking aid that was coming into Gaza. He said this because he was "concerned" about stories of famine in the region.
Axios says Trump said that work was still being done on a plan to send help to Gaza, which has been going through a humanitarian crisis because of Israel's actions, but he did not give any more information.
Hamas denies the claims
According to al-Risheq, President Trump's repeated claims that Israel is telling lies and making things up about Hamas taking and selling aid in Gaza are highly condemned.
Breaking | Hamas: Trump relentlessly echoes Israeli lies accusing Hamas of stealing aid, baseless claims that we have consistently rejected and that have been debunked by both the United Nations and an internal investigation by USAID.

He also said:
"Trump's accusations are without any proof and are meant to clear the criminal while putting the blame on the victim."
Al-Risheq said that such claims have been debunked in the past by reports and testimony from foreign groups like the United Nations. He said that a recent internal review by USAID had shown that there were no reports or proof that Hamas had taken aid.
"Starvation as a Weapon" charges against Israel
More than two million people are being killed by Israel's policy, which is backed by the United States, according to the Hamas official. He said that food and medicine are being used as tools of war against them.

JHCO says 26 trucks carrying emergency aid dispatched to Gaza
AMMAN — The Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO), in direct coordination with the Jordanian Armed Forces -the Arab Army (JAF), said it dispatched 26 trucks carrying food supplies to the Gaza Strip as part of ongoing relief efforts to support the Palestinian people. The organisation said the convoy, which was supposed to be part of a larger flow of aid, faced obstacles on the ground, most notably repeated attacks by Israeli settlers while crossing the West Bank. Some trucks were delayed for hours, it said, adding that, despite sustained efforts, the number of aid trucks reaching the Gaza Strip has declined to fewer than 30 per day, compared to a previous average of 100 to 150. 'This further aggravates the humanitarian and health crisis facing civilians in the enclave,' JHCO said. Secretary-General of the JHCO Hussein Shibli condemned the ongoing 'systematic attacks' on humanitarian aid convoys, affirming that such actions will not deter the organisation from fulfilling its humanitarian duty toward the people of Gaza. He expressed concern over the significant decrease in the number of trucks reaching Gaza, attributing it to the obstacles imposed on the ground. He held the other side [Israel] 'fully responsible', noting that it continues to enforce a policy of siege and restrictions in clear violation of international and humanitarian law. Shibli stressed that Jordan under the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah, will continue to dispatch relief convoys despite all challenges, in full coordination with the JAF and partner organisations.

JCI issues report on challenges of food industry sector
AMMAN — The Jordan Chamber of Industry (JCI) issued the third report of its reform series "Regulatory Challenges Waiting to be Addressed", which was dedicated to the food, catering, agricultural and livestock industries, one of the sectors most closely related to food security and economic stability. According to a statement issued by JCI, the report comes as a continuation of the institutional approach adopted by the JCI to diagnose the most "prominent" regulatory challenges facing the various industrial sub-sectors, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Also, the report offers practical solutions in line with the priorities of the Economic Modernisation Vision (EMV), specifically in the item "Unlocking Potential". The report noted that the sector, despite its "strategic" importance, is facing challenges at a time when there is a growing need to expand the production base and enhance reliance on domestic inputs. The JCI stressed that addressing these challenges is a national priority and is in line with the priorities of the EMV and the food security strategy, noting that the solutions proposed in the report do not require new budgets or direct financial support, but rather decisions that enhance local production.
