Standup comedian Madhur Virli recently joked that Anubhav Singh Bassi and Harsh Gujral are homosexuals during one of his performances. In a video that Madhur shared on his Instagram handle, he was seen making his audience go ROFL after he promised them to tell 'truth" about Bassi and Gujral.
Madhur began his show by saying, 'People are so scared in our society. Let me tell you the truth. There are some comics in Delhi who are gay but not able to tell it. Have you heard of Anubhav Singh Bassi? Bassi is gay. Yes. What do you think he does with four of his friends after drinking alcohol at night?"
However, he then laughed and clarified that he was only joking about Bassi's sexuality. 'I am just joking, Bassi is not gay," he added.

Madhur then dragged Harsh Gujral and said, 'Do you know about Harsh Gujral? Harsh is gay. It is true."
In the caption of his video, Madhur claimed, 'Update: Bassi & Harsh are dating each other 🤯."
Soon after the video was shared online, it received mixed reviews from all. While some found Madhur Virli's comedy entertaining, others urged him not to joke about anyone's sexuality. Another user claimed, 'This reel wasn't comedy—it was a soft launch for Delhi's first gay roast battle."
For the unversed, both Anubhav Singh Bassi and Harsh Gujral are popular names in the comedy circuit. The former also made his acting debut in 2023 with the movie Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar and is rumoured to be dating content creator-actress Kusha Kapila as of now. On the other hand, Harsh Gujral made his acting debut this year with the movie, Mere Husband ki Biwi. He is currently reported to be single.
