Brittany Hockley shocks her guests as she suffers epic wardrobe malfunction at second wedding on Sydney Harbour

Daily Mail25-07-2025
Brittany Hockley has revealed the wardrobe malfunction moment that stole the show at her second wedding to footballer Ben Siegrist.
The KIIS FM radio host, 37, legally tied the knot in front of a few close family friends on Tuesday, after having a destination ceremony in Bali last month.
'For our first wedding, we wrote and practiced our vows and I spent months learning my vows in German... so we decided to take a different approach for our second (legal) wedding,' Brittany said.
But even the most impromptu plans for a last-minute boat wedding can go awry.
In a hilarious video shared to Instagram on Friday, Brittany shared the moment she lost her veil to the wind.

The footage shows Brittany crouched down beside her Australian Shepherd dog Delilah for a photo in a Steven Khalil strapless gown and long gossamer veil.
The Life Uncut podcaster was happily patting Delilah and beaming for the picture when she felt her veil literally fly off the top of her head.
'You're about to walk down the aisle. Nothing can ruin this moment,' she captioned the post.
'Mother nature: Hold my beer.'
Brittany reached out to grasp the fabric in her fingertips and screamed in shock.
Her former KIIS FM co-host Mitch Churi, who had been scrolling on his phone, glanced up at the chaos and froze.
She thought she had held onto the veil, but it slipped from between her fingers and was carried from the rented vessel by a puff of strong wind.
Brittany jumped to her stiletto-clad feet in her floor-length gown and chased after it, only to watch the garment become submerged in the harbour.

'I almost had it,' she continued in her caption.
'Rumour has it a bride in Hawaii is wearing my veil as we speak. I've never laughed harder. I should have expected nothing less. A day we will never forget.'
On her Stories, she added the additional remarks: 'You couldn't have scripted this.
'But I will be writing it into my TV show.'
Brittany and Ben were unable to be legally wed overseas, and so had a second micro-wedding in her hometown earlier this week.
'Ben's dream was to be able to legally get married on Sydney Harbour, the first place he went when landing in Australia for the very first time, two days before he met me for the very first time,' she explained on Instagram.
'Little did he know his life was about to change forever. He imagined the bridge and the Opera House in the background…
'So with just one week to make this happen, and thanks to some amazing people who helped me put it together in seven days, I got it done and it was just stunning. So imperfectly perfect!'
'We decided to improvise our vows and just look at each other and see what comes out in the moment!' Brittany continued. 'No pressure, just love.'
Everything, including the dress, the boat, the cake, and shoes, was 'last-minute'.
''It was tiny and intimate and just simply perfect! We laughed the whole day. It was so relaxed and we were just bursting with all the feelings.'
Brittany and Ben's first wedding took place in Bali last month in a romantic clifftop ceremony overlooking the Bukit Peninsula.
She was ever the blushing bride on her big day, walking down the aisle in a strapless dress by Steven Khalil featuring a lace corset with a dramatic, long train.
Brittany accessorised her dramatic frock with a large flower choker, pearl earrings and a veil that cascaded across the floor.
The Life Uncut podcast team announced Brittany's engagement to Ben last year.
Brittany, who formerly described herself as 'the perpetually single host', had been dating Ben long-distance for eight months when he popped the question.
The duo met in November 2022 on the celebrity dating app Raya.
At the time, the goalkeeper's soccer team, the Glasgow-based Celtic FC, was playing in Australia against Sydney FC.

Spice Girl Mel B celebrates marriage with ‘spiritual' ceremony in Morocco

It comes after the 50-year-old, whose real name is Melanie Brown, married hairdresser Rory McPhee at St Paul's Cathedral in July, having announced their engagement in October 2022. In a post on Instagram, Brown said: 'We got married, again! 'A wedding so good we keep the celebration going with our closest and dearest in our fave place at @selmanmarrakech we had the time of our lives.' A post shared by 'scary spice Mel B' (@officialmelb) The singer wore a red dress with crystals and bugle beads made in a collaboration between Evelie Bridal and wedding dress designer Justin Alexander at the ceremony at the Selman Hotel on Saturday. Her choice of dress was guided by Caroline Black from London-based Evelie Bridal, who aimed to reflect her life in the US, where she is a judge on America's Got Talent. Black told the PA news agency: 'For Mel's Morocco wedding dress, we focused on trying Justin Alexander gowns with a little extra sparkle. 'Mel loved the idea of a red dress — something bold, with lots and lots of shimmer — but it also had to feel light and easy to move in. 'We drew inspiration from a variety of dresses she tried on at Evelie South Kensington, then went back and forth brainstorming with Justin Alexander and his design team. 'After several conversations and sketches, the first design took shape. Mel gave us clear feedback on what she liked and what she didn't, and the final result was beautiful. 'Mel had such a strong sense of what she wanted — it was a joy working with her and Justin Alexander to bring her vision to life.' The dress required a team of six artisans and took more than 850 hours to complete. Her husband wore an Alexander McQueen outfit featuring a white shirt and jacket with black trousers and shoes. The London wedding saw Brown joined by guests including bandmate Emma Bunton, model Daisy Lowe, and comedians Tom Allen and Katherine Ryan. The singer was previously married to Stephen Belafonte until she filed for divorce in 2017 following allegations of abuse. They have a daughter, Madison Brown Belafonte. Brown also has two daughters, Phoenix Chi Gulzar and Angel Iris Murphy Brown, from two previous relationships. With the Spice Girls, the singer had nine UK number one singles and two UK number one albums. The group was best known for songs such as Wannabe, 2 Become 1 and Who Do You Think You Are?.

Viewers lash out at 'boring' Logies ceremony amid rumours the awards night is 'on its last legs'

The Logie Awards got off to a glamorous start on Sunday night. But not everyone watching the telecast was impressed, with many viewers lashing out at the 'boring' awards show. Several people took to X to slam the annual ceremony and claim the Logies simply isn't relevant any more. 'No better confirmation that free to air TV is dying than the #Logies - a mixture of yesterday's celebrities and nobodies talking about themselves,' one person wrote. 'It's quaint how they still have the Logies - a dying medium celebrating mediocrity #Logies,' another said. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. A third commented: 'Dear Aussie media, no one gives a flying f*** about the Logies, regards, the Australian public.' 'Are the Logies even relevant anymore?' another questioned while one said: 'Geez the Logies have become so irrelevant.' 'In fairness the Logies are an embarrassment and have been for at least 30 years... Did you see the nominees for awards this year? Not a shred of talent to be seen,' one wrote. Another added: 'Sometimes I get mad about how much I pay for streaming services but then remember I don't have to endure torturous broadcasts like tonight's #Logies.' It comes after Daily Mail revealed the Logie Awards might not be back next year - or ever. A very high-level TV insider has revealed 'they're quietly rolling up the red carpet'. 'It's just not viable anymore. No one wants to pay for it, no one's watching, and the people behind it are already looking for an exit,' said the source. That 'exit' is apparently the upcoming fire sale of mags at Are Media - which owns TV Week and the Logies brand. The private equity firm backing Are Media, Mercury Capital, wants out after five years of underwhelming returns. The Logies red carpet used to host the likes of Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, One Direction, Ricky Martin and even Destiny's Child. 'You remember when the Logies had international stars, outrageous moments, drama?' said the insider. 'Now it's a glorified promo reel for local TV. It's like the Bogan Oscars. The big acts are gone - and so is the audience. 'It's Karl Stefanovic, Sonia Kruger, Hamish Blake - rinse and repeat. Boring! The audience is tired, the talent's recycled, and the networks aren't throwing cash at Logies campaigns like they used to.' The ratings have also plummeted as Seven - which reclaimed the Logies broadcast in 2023 after 28 years with Nine - has seen a 20 per cent drop in digital audience. 'Seven thought they were buying back a national treasure. What they got was a very expensive nostalgia trip,' the insider added.

Oasis ‘shocked and saddened' after fan falls to his death at Wembley show

Oasis said they were 'shocked and saddened' after a fan fell to his death during their sell-out Wembley show this weekend. The man was pronounced dead at the scene after attending the concert on Saturday night. Witnesses described the 'horrendous' scenes after the man reportedly fell from a balcony during the band's long-anticipated reunion tour. Oasis said in a statement: 'We are shocked and saddened to hear of the tragic death of a fan at the show last night. 'Oasis would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the person involved.' The Metropolitan Police have said that the man was aged in his 40s. Despite the tragic events on Saturday, organisers said the band's performance on Sunday would still go ahead. In a statement the Metropolitan Police said: 'A man – aged in his 40s – was found with injuries consistent with a fall. 'He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. 'The stadium was busy and we believe it is likely a number of people witnessed the incident, or may knowingly or unknowingly have caught it on mobile phone video footage. 'If you have any information that could help us to confirm what happened, please call 101.' A witness told the Daily Mail: 'It was horrendous. 'The guy fell from a balcony. Paramedics came rushing over. There was a lot of screaming and shouting. 'It was a big fall. God knows how it happened. It was so tragic. I don't know how on Earth it happened. 'It was heartbreaking. He was only young.' The fall happened during the latest in a run of stadium shows for the band's sell-out Live '25 reunion tour – their first since splitting in 2009. A spokesperson for Wembley Stadium said: 'Last night, Wembley Stadium medics, the London Ambulance Service and the police attended to a concert-goer who was found with injuries consistent with a fall. 'Despite their efforts, the fan very sadly died. Our thoughts go out to his family, who have been informed and are being supported by specially trained police officers. 'The police have asked anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them. 'Tonight's Oasis concert will go ahead as planned.'
