Liverpool vs Tottenham Live Streaming: How to Watch the Premier League Match Online in the US, UK and India
Liverpool will host Tottenham Hotspur to Anfield on Sunday and will look to clinch the Premier League title and match Manchester United's record of 20 top-flight championships. The Reds need just a draw to be crowned champions and are hot favorites to earn a positive result against Tottenham on Sunday evening.
They head into the match with five wins from their last six Premier League outings. Liverpool have an impressive record against Spurs, and it needs to be seen if the North London side can put up a strong fight and postpone Liverpool's title celebrations this weekend. However, with Liverpool's current form, it will be a difficult ask for them.
Liverpool a Step Away from Premier League Title
Liverpool boasts an impressive record against Tottenham, having scored at least four goals in each of their last three home encounters against them, but they will need to step up their performance to ensure a win this time. Meanwhile, Tottenham comes into this match after losing four of their last five Premier League games.
The Lilywhites currently sit 16th in the table and are struggling with poor form and are low on confidence. It will be interesting to see how they perform in this match. If Tottenham have any plans of postponing Liverpool's title celebrations, they will need to do something they haven't managed since 2011.
However, with their current form, the visitors appear to have little interest in ruining Liverpool's celebrations on Sunday, as their attention is firmly on Bodo/Glimt and the first leg of their Europa League semi-final next week.

Mandatory Credit: Nathan Ray Seebeck-Imagn Images REUTERS FIFA hands four-match bans to Boca Juniors players sent off in Club World Cup opener MIAMI - Boca Juniors players Ander Herrera and Nicolas Figal were handed four-match bans by FIFA after being sent off in their Club World Cup opener against Benfica, a spokesperson for the Argentine club told Reuters on Wednesday. Boca disagreed with the sanctions imposed on their players after Benfica's Andrea Belotti received a two-match ban for catching Ayrton Costa in the head with a high boot in the 72nd minute. "We have already contacted FIFA to submit an appeal," said the club spokesperson. Spanish midfielder Herrera, who was subbed off due to a muscle injury, was shown a red card in the 45th minute after protesting to Mexican referee Cesar Ramos from the bench over a penalty awarded to the Portuguese side. Defender Figal was sent off in the 88th minute with a straight red card for a foul on Florentino Luis when the match was tied at 2-2. Boca will face Bayern Munich at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on Friday in their second match in Group C. REUTERS Join ST's Telegram channel and get the latest breaking news delivered to you.

Man City show squad depth in 2-0 Club World Cup win over Wydad
PHILADELPHIA :Manchester City showcased their impressive squad depth in a 2-0 victory over Morocco's Wydad Casablanca in the Club World Cup on Wednesday, with manager Pep Guardiola rotating his team and resting key players. Goals from Phil Foden and Jeremy Doku in the first half were enough to secure City's win in their Group G opener, as Guardiola handed opportunities to emerging talents and recent signings. Among those who stood out was 21-year-old Frenchman Rayan Cherki, signed from Olympique Lyonnais for 40 million euros ($45.86 million) ahead of the tournament. WHY IT'S IMPORTANT: The match highlighted City's squad rebuilding efforts following their first trophyless season since 2016-17. The club invested significantly in the transfer market, adding Cherki and three other players in the summer window prior to the Club World Cup, spending around 110 million pounds ($147.40 million). This followed a busy January window aimed at refreshing Guardiola's project. KEY QUOTES: Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola: "We are pretty pleased with what we saw today from those who played. We have new players; some players played in different positions. Vitor Reis played a really good game. Nathan Ake was several months without playing. We have so many players that we need to give them minutes. Otherwise, they never can get it. The next game, 10 new players are going to be there and try to win the next one." "It's a thin line we are having to deal with, a mix between pre-season with an important competition economically and of course for the prestige to play and win a Club World Cup from teams from all around the world. So mentally, you need to prepare for every game, play better. The target is improving, our level today was OK... So this is what we have to think about. To review how it was and where I have to make a step up." ($1 = 0.8722 euros) ($1 = 0.7463 pounds)

Sheffield Utd name Selles as manager to replace Wilder after failed promotion bid
Sheffield United named Ruben Selles as manager to replace Chris Wilder who left after a mutual agreement following the club's failure to gain promotion to the Premier League, the second-tier Championship side said on Wednesday. Selles, who previously managed Southampton and Reading, took charge of Hull City in December with the club bottom of the Championship and the Spanish 42-year-old guided them to safety, avoiding the drop on goal difference. Wilder had signed a contract extension until 2028 with the Blades earlier this year but after finishing third in the Championship, they failed to win the playoff final, losing 2-1 to Sunderland, who scored the winner deep into stoppage time. "Sheffield United can confirm a mutually agreed decision has been reached for manager Chris Wilder to leave the football club," the club said in a statement. "After returning to the club during a difficult period in 2023, he has provided stability and created a new team which earned a Steel City derby double amongst other notable highlights last season. "Showing his calibre as a manager, he guided the club to third place finish... before a heartbreaking conclusion in the playoff final." It marks the second time Wilder has left the club after his first spell in charge ended in March 2021 when they were rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table, with the club eventually going down. "I'm obviously disappointed to be leaving, particularly because we were so close to getting back to the Premier League. I'm a Sheffielder through and through, I love this club and this city and that feeling will never change," Wilder said. "I depart with some cherished memories and feel proud to be talked about in the same manner that special Sheffield United managers are remembered – leading this team over 300 times will remain an incredible part of my life."
