Abyan governor: Unity people's fate, cannot be touched

Saba Yemen21-05-2025
Sana'a - Saba:
Governor of Abyan, Saleh Al-Junaidi, affirmed that Yemeni unity is the destiny of the people, and that destiny is not open to compromise or tampering.
In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Governor Al-Junaidi indicated that Yemeni unity, despite all the mistakes that occurred during the first years of its realization, remains a major historical achievement and one of the most important national constants to which the Yemeni people adhere, as they are the true stakeholders.
He explained that the conspiracies being hatched today by the historical enemies of unity, the Saudis and the Emiratis, place all free Yemenis before a historical and national responsibility to preserve unity.
The Governor of Abyan emphasized the commitment of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and the President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, to addressing the southern grievances resulting from the Saleh regime's coup against the unity agreement and the undermining of the peaceful nature of this achievement, which was achieved by the people of Yemen in the various southern, eastern, and northern governorates.
He described the ongoing Saudi-Emirati support for fragmentation and division projects in the southern governorates under various pretexts as futile attempts that will clash with the Yemeni people's awareness and commitment to their political and social unity.
Governor Al-Junaidi called on the people of the southern governorates to reject all small projects that target national unity and to prevent the country from returning to the era of fragmentation and division. He emphasized that the colonial powers are attempting to exploit the repercussions of the Saudi-American aggression to implement old agendas and ambitions that they had previously failed to implement before and after the October 14, 1963 Revolution, and will not be able to achieve after 60 years of independence and liberation from foreign colonialism. He noted that history cannot and will not go back.
He pointed out that Yemen is today at the height of its strength, thanks to God and the efforts of the revolutionary and political leadership, and that all plans hostile to Yemeni unity will be doomed to complete failure.
Governor Al-Junaidi congratulated the Leader of the Revolution and the President and members of the Supreme Political Council on the occasion of the 35th National Day of the Republic of Yemen (May 22), asking God Almighty to bring it back with victory and empowerment for the Yemeni people and the Arab and Islamic nations.

"Democracy" : Palestinian People Have Right to Self-Determination

Gaza - Saba: The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) affirmed on Tuesday that "the fate of our Palestinian people in the 1967 occupied territories the West Bank (with Quds at its heart) and the Gaza Strip is not a matter to be experimented with in political laboratories in Western capitals." In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the DFLP emphasized that "the Palestinian people's right to self-determination on their own land, the establishment of a fully sovereign and independent state, and the resolution of the refugee issue in accordance with UN Resolution 194 - which guarantees their right to return to their homes and properties from which they were displaced in 1948 - is a sacred right that cannot be manipulated or reinterpreted." The Front called on Western powers to "stop turning the cause of our people - especially in the Gaza Strip - into a testing ground, governed by a mindset of superiority and colonial arrogance that still lingers in the consciousness of several Western capitals, including the United States and Europe." It stressed that "resolving the situation in Gaza is not a puzzle nor a matter to be exploited by colonial ambitions or the West's obsessive desire to interfere in the affairs of rising nations." The DFLP emphasized that the solution in Gaza lies in "an immediate end to the genocide and starvation, the full and immediate withdrawal of the occupation army from the entire Gaza Strip, lifting the siege, and opening all crossings to allow the flow of humanitarian and life-saving aid - including food, water, medicine, sanitation supplies, and dignified shelter materials. It also includes the evacuation of the wounded and critically ill for treatment abroad, the facilitation of efforts to recover the bodies of martyrs and those missing under the rubble, and the dismantling of the 'American death-for-food company.'" The statement also called for enabling and overseeing the distribution of aid by international and humanitarian agencies, especially UNRWA, and for the restoration and reconstruction of the fragmented society in Gaza. Govt Media Office in Gaza: 124 aid trucks entered Gaza Strip Sunday, most of which were looted

Gaza – Saba: The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip said on Monday that only 124 aid trucks entered the Gaza Strip yesterday, Sunday, most of which were looted and robbed amidst deliberate security chaos created by the Israeli enemy as part of its policy of "engineering starvation and chaos" aimed at undermining the steadfastness of the Palestinian people. The office said in a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba): "Over the course of 15 days, the total number of aid trucks that entered the Gaza Strip was only 1,334, out of the intended quantity of 9,000. This means that what entered is equivalent to approximately 14% of the actual needs." The statement stressed that the Israeli enemy continues to prevent the entry of sufficient aid trucks, close the crossings, and undermine the work of humanitarian organizations. It added, "We remind you that the Gaza Strip needs more than 600 different aid trucks daily to meet the minimum needs of 2.4 million people, amid the near-total collapse of infrastructure due to the ongoing war and genocide." The government media outlet held the Zionist enemy and its allies fully responsible for the humanitarian catastrophe. The government media called on the United Nations, Arab and Islamic countries, and the international community to take serious action to open the crossings and ensure the flow of aid, especially food, baby formula, and life-saving medicines, and to hold the Zionist enemy accountable for its crimes against civilians.
