Titans bring back LS Morgan Cox
The Titans have agreed to terms on a new one-year contract with long snapper Morgan Cox, the team announced Monday.
Cox, a five-time Pro Bowler, joined the Titans in 2021 after spending his first 11 NFL seasons with the Ravens.
He earned one of his Pro Bowls with the Titans in 2022.
In 2024, Cox was a finalist for the Bart Starr Award, which honors those who exhibit outstanding character, integrity and leadership on and off the football field.
The 15-year veteran has appeared in 233 career regular-season games and 11 postseason contests.
In 2024, Cox appeared in every game and handled all of the team's long snapping duties for the fourth consecutive year.
He helped kicker Nick Folk post a 95.5 percent accuracy on field goals, which led the NFL in 2024, and he assisted Ryan Stonehouse in averaging 50.6 yards per punt, which ranked third in the NFL in 2024.
Cox's five career Pro Bowls (2015, 2016, 2019, 2020 and 2022) are more than any other player at his position since the league began naming long snappers to the Pro Bowl in 2004.
The Titans have a new special teams coordinator in John Fassel, who left Dallas for Tennessee in January.

Before the Broncos: Nik Bonitto played for four years at the University of Oklahoma from 2018-21. Bonttio took a step forward in 2023, a year in which he started four games. If 2023 was a step forward, 2024 was an explosion, and one every bit as much as the Broncos were hoping for when they drafted Bonitto in 2022. Bonitto started 15 games, totaling 48 tackles (33 solo, 15 assisted, 16 tackles for loss, 24 QB hits), two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and one interception. Bonitto's fumble recovery and interception both went for touchdowns. Bonitto's huge jump earned him a Pro Bowl nod, as well as second-team All-Pro honors. Chances to make the 53-man roster: 100 percent. Bonitto had a breakout year in 2024, and is in the middle of contract extension talks with the Denver front office to keep him with the Broncos for the foreseeable future. Milton Williams fully participated in his first offseason with Patriots
During the offseason program, the players who don't show up get most of the attention. The players who fully participate get overlooked. For the Patriots, where newcomers like receiver Stefon Diggs and cornerback Carlton Davis generated headlines for not showing up for voluntary workouts, newly-signed defensive tackle Milton Williams did. Advertisement Via Mike Reiss of the former Eagles defender was a full participant in the offseason program. Reiss adds this observation: "And he seemed to embrace Vrabel's approach of being hardest on the team's best players." While Vrabel and all coaches are prevented by the Collective Bargaining Agreement from saying or doing anything to suggest that the voluntary workouts aren't voluntary, this specific aspect of Vrabel's plan for coaching his team demonstrates how he feels about players choosing — and not choosing — to be there. Given that Vrabel likes to be hardest on the team's best players, it'll be interesting to see if players like Diggs and Davis have bought themselves an even more memorable experience in late July and August.

PFF ranks Broncos' Brandon Jones among NFL's top 10 safeties
Zoltan Buday of Pro Football Focus recently compiled a list of the top 32 safeties in the NFL heading into the 2025 season. Denver Broncos safety Brandon Jones -- who had a solid season in 2024 with 115 tackles, three interceptions, and ten pass deflections -- made the cut. Buday ranked Jones in the top 10. 'Durability was an issue for Jones during his years with the Dolphins, but while he never topped 650 snaps with Miami, he logged 1,042 snaps in his first season with the Broncos," Buday wrote on PFF. "He further elevated his play, too, especially in coverage. He earned an 89.8 PFF coverage grade, which ranked third among safeties, similar to his 84.8 PFF overall grade.' While Jones didn't nab a Pro Bowl or All-Pro last fall, his play helped boost the Broncos back to the playoffs for the first time since their Super Bowl season in 2015.
