"It is possible that he was trying to save time and effort despite the risk."The MAIB previously said hotel services and air conditioning would need to have been shut down to make the circuit safe.In a statement, Mr Temme's wife Natasha described him as an "amazing father and husband" who was "always cheerful... strong, professional and courteous".She told the court: "There was no-one to help him... Even if he was crying for help there was no-one there."The coroner said the chief officer who found Mr Temme slumped on 23 February received an electric shock himself.He said: "Roy was working in temperatures of 50 to 55C. He was hot and sweaty which aided the electrical flow through his body."He was a much-loved husband and father and was extremely experienced and qualified."The yacht's operator, Nigel Burgess Ltd, previously told the MAIB it had updated its safety procedures in the light of Mr Temme's death.

A FORMER PE teacher has pleaded not guilty to a string of sex offences against three children. Bronwen James is accused of six counts of engaging in sexual activity relating to two girls aged 14 and 15 and a 16-year-old boy. 4 The 29-year-old also allegedly made an indecent image of a child and had sexual communications with a girl aged between 13 to 15. James carried out the offences while teaching PE at Hardenhuish School in Chippenham and Bitterne Park School in Southampton, it is said. She appeared at Salisbury Crown Court today where she denied sexually abusing two girls and a boy as well as a number of other offences. But James pleaded guilty to engaging in sexual communication with one of the girls between 2019 and 2021. She denied the same charge against the second alleged female victim. James also pleaded not guilty to four counts of sexual activity with a 16-year-old boy while in a position of trust between August 2021 and June 2022. According to the charge sheet, James is accused of carrying out the alleged offences over a three-year period. James is also charged with making an indecent photograph of a child under category C – the least serious category - but entered no plea. She was granted bail on the condition she has no contact with the three alleged victims directly or indirectly or have unsupervised contact with any child under 16. A provisional trial date was set for Winchester Crown Court on April 27 next year. Wiltshire Police said: "A former teacher is due to appear before Salisbury Magistrates' Court on Wednesday (09/07) having been charged with sexual offences relating to three children. "Bronwen James, 29, from Chippenham, taught PE at Hardenhuish School in Chippenham and Bitterne Park School in Southampton. The Runcorn and Helsby MP made the comments at a female-only Reform press conference today, led by the party's senior women who have dubbed themselves 'Farage's Fillies'. Reform's only female MP said Labour is overseeing a 'betrayal of our women and girls' due to its failure to stop asylum seekers with 'medieval views' about women arriving on small boats. She said: 'It's no wonder that we're now hearing about groups of concerned British men mobilising themselves into guardian angel style street patrols.' EasyJet suspends pilot over being 'naked and drunk' at holiday resort
An easyJet pilot who reportedly walked around a hotel drunk and naked 36 hours before he was due to fly UK holidaymakers back to Gatwick has been suspended. The captain was said to be due to fly a plane back to the UK from Cape Verde, West Africa. EasyJet confirmed to Sky News a pilot had been "immediately stood down" and an investigation launched - and said it treated the safety of its passengers and crew with the "highest priority". No further details or comment have been released by the airline. The pilot is said to have arrived at the five-star Melia Dunas Beach Resort and Spa, Cape Verde, on 4 August - and then embarked on a drinking session at a bar which lasted into the early hours of the morning, reported The Sun. At 2.30am he removed all his clothes and walked into the reception area before moving onto the gym and spa, according to the newspaper. He was due to operate a flight back to Gatwick around 36 hours later on the afternoon of 6 August, but a replacement pilot was found. In a statement to Sky News, an easyJet spokesperson said: "As soon as we were made aware the pilot was immediately stood down from duty, in line with our procedures, pending an investigation. "The safety of our passengers and crew is easyJet's highest priority." EasyJet's flights from Gatwick to Cape Verde are its longest from England, at more than 2,300 nautical miles.
