Julie continued: "It might take five minutes or five years but when that penny drops, you realise what your life is for.
"How it feels to care about someone else, more than you'll ever care about yourself."
Coronation Street's Julie Carp reveals her devastating secret - and it's going to be heartbreaking
Julie's speech continued as she reflected on life and love.
Later, she planned for a day out with Eileen but made sure to speak at length with her nephew Todd and partner Brian before they went away.
She praised Todd and sympathised with him amid his ongoing romantic difficulty with Theo.
Julie thanked Brian for his love and devotion and she hugged them both tightly in what appeared to be a goodbye hug - unbeknown to them.
Eventually, Julie and Eileen arrived at the lake where they shared a heart-to-heart with one another with Julie insisting there was no one else she would rather be with.
She then asked her sister to fetch them some drinks from a refreshment van some distance away but upon Eileen returning, Julie had passed away.
Having called the paramedics, they revealed Julie had a DNR (Do Not Resuscitate) order in place and as such there was nothing more they could do for her.
Beside herself, Eileen returned home where she sobbed over the passing of her sister.
George told her that during their day at the lake, he discovered another video on Julie's phone, filmed today, which encouraged Eileen to dump him after fearing the relationship had run its course.
Julie acknowledged there was no wrongdoing by either party and thus suggested now was the right time to call things quits before people got hurt and upset.
Eileen was then left grieving her sister as well as dealing with the information she had been left.
As Todd eventually comforted her, a stark reality began to dawn upon the pair.
Todd suggested that it was highly likely that Julie had committed suicide.
With her diagnosis suggesting she had months left to live, her death came out of the blue for her family.
Todd went on to insist that Julie filming a slew of goodbye videos before having tearful 'final' conversations with her loved ones was a sure-fire sign that she knew that today would be her final day.
He also said her sending Eileen away for drinks was merely a ploy in order to take her own life.
As Eileen looked on reflectively, the mother and son duo comforted each other as Julie's death began to sink in.

In a telling move, Conor failed to acknowledge or thank his villa partner Megan in his post-villa social media message. Taking to Instagram after being booted and just moments before the final, Conor wrote: "The craziest 8 weeks of my life. Thank you so much for all the support. "Hope I did all you guys proud, especially my Irish people." Advertisement Conor went on to share a series of snaps with his fellow axed Islanders but failed to post a photo with Megan. He further congratulated winners Toni and Cach in another social media snub to Megan. Viewers watching along at home were also left trying to spot them together in the audience with many claiming they could not be seen - fuelling further speculation that the pair could have secretly split over the weekend. One fan wrote online: "I havent seen Conor and Megan together all night!!" Advertisement As another added: "Anyone spotted that Conor and Megan were sat apart?!" Elsewhere, when Megan was brought up to the sofa to be interviewed by Maya, she was not joined by Conor. Love Island champs Toni and Cach reveal how they'll spend £50k winnings as they beat Shakira and Harry Fellow couples Tommy and Lucy and Ben and Andrada were featured together in the segment. Megan and Conor were dumped from the villa just days before the final after failing to be voted as one of the most compatible couples in the villa. Advertisement Following their show axe, fans noticed how Megan and Conor did also tellingly not return for the show's final vote - which resulted in the axe of Dejon and Meg. On Sunday night, 18 former Islanders returned to the villa to vote out one couple from the new bottom two, which comprised of Angel & Ty and Meg & Dejon. Fans quickly noticed the couple's absence and questioned why they did not take part despite still being in Spain and appearing on After Sun. The Sun can now reveal the real reason why Megan and Conor were absent from casting a vote with the other Islanders. Advertisement "They were dumped as part of the public vote that also decided who was in the bottom two couples - so it wouldn't have been fair to let them vote," a source told the The Sun. "The vote was only for people who had been axed in previous dumpings, not the current one." 4 Megan was not joined by Conor in her first screen interview Credit: Shutterstock Editorial 4 The pair were axed just days before the final Credit: Shutterstock Editorial

The live show, which first launched in 2023, aired on Friday nights in the funnyman's native Birmingham. During its first two series Joe was joined by celebrity guests including Danny Dyer, Alesha Dixon, Greg James, Ross Kemp and Daisy May Cooper who would take part in hilarious skits. His aunties Pauline and Margaret also appeared and became firm fan-favourites among viewers last year. The Sun understands it's hoped the show will return for a third series - but for now Joe is taking extended paternity leave following the birth of his son. Late Night Lycett typically airs in April, meaning pre-production should be getting underway now. "Joe's witty one-liners as well as the show's comedy and feel-good vibe means it's not shy of attracting big names out on a Friday evening like Alesha Dixon and Elizabeth Hurley. Love Island fans convinced axed star is locked in secret feud with host Maya Jama after noticing ‘giveaway clue'
LOVE Island fans are convinced an axed show star is locked in a feud with host Maya Jama. Viewers of the ITV2 series called out the alleged conduct during Monday's show finale, which saw Toni Laites and Cach Mercer crowned winners. 6 Love Island fans are convinced host Maya Jama is locked in a secret feud with one axed co-star Credit: Eroteme 6 Fans called out Helena Forde's frosty reception to the ITV2 show anchor Credit: Eroteme 6 Helena dished out short answers to Maya's questions Credit: Eroteme The duo scooped the £50K cash prize yet away from the main Love Island final action, eagle-eyed fans were quick to call out a variety of sly moves. These included Harrison rolling his eyes at Toni when she called him out on air. Helena Ford was also spotted "rudely" talking to Angel in the background of Yas's interview. Now fans reckon air hostess Helena is also harbouring a secret feud with host Maya Jama. It came after her short answers and disinterested look as Maya chatted to her in the villa garden before the main result was announced. Walking up to Helena and Alima, perched on bar stools, Maya said: "Alima, Helena, hello my lovelies," to which Helena simply replied: "Hi." Maya later said: "Helena you've been out for a little bit, you've got your phone back, what about your DMs anything exciting going on there?" Looking disinterested, she replied: "I haven't actually looked to be honest. "It's just the old roster resurfacing and I'm thinking 'oh no not you again.'" Maya suggested: "Maybe they're like 'I've seen you on telly I'm gonna fix up?'" to which Helena bluntly said: "They're not." Love Island star caught snubbing finalist and 'ignoring' her during live final - but did you spot it Fans were quick to suspect the pair weren't on the same page and one wrote on X: "Why does it seem like some of the islanders (Meg & Helena) aren't interested in talking to Maya?" A second put: "It's giving rude!!!" A third commented: "Maya talking to Helena is like pulling teeth," as one put: "Even Maya is looking at Helena like girl bye." One then added: "Helena is FUMINGGGGG, INJECT ITTT." MAYA SWIPE Earlier in the series, Maya was praised by fans as she called out Helena and then partner Harry. She was left clearly unimpressed by Helena as she sat sniggering about Harry's antics in Casa Amor. Maya snipped: 'I don't know, I probably wouldn't find that funny if I was in a couple with someone like that.' Those watching at home were impressed by Maya's reaction, with one person commenting: 'Helena looking so dumb that even Maya had to question her intelligence lmao.' MAYA'S BACKING In a toe-curling moment during the live final, host Maya received silence after backing OG stars Shakira and Harry, who was Helena's former show partner. Ahead of the results being announced, Maya told the couple: "You are in the final and there's something that the public have seen that obviously gives love story." But when this had a limited crowd response, she added: "I can hear the whispers in the background." It came after Harry and Shakira recently recoupled prior to the final after a rollercoaster experience in the villa. 6 Fans suggested Helena 'wasn't interested' in talking to Maya Credit: Eroteme 6 Another raged 'it's giving rude' Credit: Eroteme
