YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav opens up about how constant controversies have affected him emotionally—and the toll they've taken on his family.
From winning Bigg Boss OTT 2 to navigating an unending swirl of controversies, YouTuber Elvish Yadav has seen fame in all its extremes. Whether it was his arrest under the Wildlife Act for allegedly sourcing snake venom for rave parties, being accused of attempted murder by fellow content creator Maxtern, or making headlines for his feud with YouTuber Abhishek Malhan (aka Fukra Insaan) over 'negative PR"—Elvish's public life has been far from quiet.
Now, in a candid conversation with Pinkvilla, the internet star is finally speaking out about how these controversies have taken a toll on him.
'Of course it affects me," he confessed. 'Roj sochta hoon, jo cheez kari nahi, woh cheez jhelni padd rahi hai. Sochta hoon itna famous hona gunaah ho gaya hai kya? Mere se bhi famous log hain, woh toh khush hain. Mere saath hi aisa kyu hai?"
Despite the mounting pressure, Elvish said he tries not to dwell too much. 'Par phir sochta hoon ki sochke kya hi ho jayega? Experience life mein jitni jaldi aaye, aise tareeke se naa aaye, par mera aagaya. Bohot cheezein sikhata hai, aisa time aur experiences, jo ajeeb hote hain. Mein mature hogaya ab time se pehle shayad. Jo 4 saal baad hona tha, ab ho gaya."
The emotional impact isn't limited to him alone. Elvish revealed that the controversies also weigh heavily on his family. 'Mere parivaar ne hamesha mera saath diya hai, lekin meri family usoolon wali hai. Unka maanna hai ki agar unka beta galat ho, toh woh uske saath kabhi nahi khade honge. Aur woh mere saath khade hain kyunki main galat nahi hoon. Thoda dukh hota hai jab aise jhoothe ilzaam lagaye jaate hain."
Despite the noise, Elvish continues to expand his footprint in the entertainment space. Most recently, his mentee Gullu (Kushal Tanwar) was crowned the winner of MTV Roadies: Double Cross, a win Elvish proudly celebrated. He's also currently featuring on Laughter Chefs Season 2, paired with actor Karan Kundrra.

Bigg Boss OTT 2 Winner Elvish Yadav Is ‘Openly Crushing' On Alia Bhatt

Last Updated: Elvish Yadav had once said he wanted to marry Alia Bhatt. He has long been vocal about his admiration for the actress. From winning Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 to his stint on Roadies XX, Siddharth ' Elvish" Yadav is undoubtedly ruling over the hearts of millions. If that wasn't enough, he also runs two successful YouTube channels—his daily vlog, which he started in 2016 and Elvish Yadav Gaming, launched in 2023. Elvish has always been candid about all aspects of his life, and this includes his huge crush on Alia Bhatt. Yes, you heard that right. In a recent interview, Elvish once again openly spoke about his admiration for Alia. When asked about his feelings for the actress, he told TOI, 'I've been openly crushing on Alia Bhatt. I like her." This isn't the first time the YouTuber has spoken about his feelings for Alia Bhatt. Earlier this year, during a podcast with Pratik Sehajpal, Elvish once again expressed his admiration for the Gangubai Kathiawadi star. When Pratik said, 'Mujhe Alia Bhatt achchi lagti hai, woh ek achchi actor hai (I like Alia Bhatt, she is a good actor)." Elvish immediately responded, 'Mujhe bhi bhai, ab toh shaadi hogayi, bachcha bhi hogaya (Even me a brother, but now she is married and has a kid)." Pratik replied, 'Usse kya farak padhta hai bhaiya? Hame kaunsa usse shaadi karni thi. Woh toh actress achchi hai (What difference does it make? It's not like we wanted to marry her. I am just saying she is a good actress)." Elvish had a response ready. 'Mujhe toh karni thi (shaadi), par ab uski hogayi. Kyu ched diya humne yeh topic? Sorry, Ranbir Bhai. (I wanted to tie the knot with her, but now she is married. Why did we take this topic? Sorry, Ranbir.)" Moving on to his stint on Roadies XX, Elvish opened up about his experience as a first-time gang leader. Elvish shared, 'My journey as a gang leader on Roadies XX was amazing. Initially, I didn't know what to do or how to play, but my fellow gang leaders helped me, and I learnt a lot from them. I came on the show only for the love audience and didn't expect to win. However, now that I've won, it feels amazing." Speaking about Kushal Tanwar aka Gullu from his team, who won Roadies XX, Elvish said,'Gullu didn't get many chances on the show. He was evicted once and later came back as a wildcard entry. But he gave his best whenever he got an opportunity. I truly believe he's a deserving winner." Elvish has also been making headlines for his appearance on Laughter Chef 2. According to reports, the show may go off-air by mid-July, although there is no official confirmation yet. First Published:

MTV Roadies gang leader Elvish Yadav addresses his controversies, says he has not been convicted yet: ‘People just assume I am rude or evil'

Content Creator Elvish Yadav recently won MTV Roadies XX as a gang leader. After winning the show in his debut season, Elvish looked back at the allegations and controversies surrounding him. Talking about the same, Elvish also spoke about how these allegations have an impact on him as well as his family. He even spoke about rejecting Khatron Ke Khiladi 15's offer. Elvish has been embroiled in controversies like making derogatory remarks against other content creators, passing sexist remarks towards a few female celebrities, giving death threats to a fellow YouTuber, etc. He was also accused in the Snake venom smuggling legal case. On his controversies, Elvish said, 'These allegations do have an impact because people start seeing you in that perspective. A lot of people don't know the difference between being accused and being acquitted. They just think that if someone is blamed, it is proven, whereas the court makes these decisions. So far, none of the allegations against me have been proven, but people just form an opinion that he is evil or rude or have too much attitude. People saw my real side on Bigg Boss; if I were rude, it would have been seen there. I am not like what people assume me to be.' 'It does affect me, I keep thinking about this every day, that I have to deal with things that I have not even done. Sometimes I wonder if being so famous has become a sin, but then I think, what difference will it make if I dwell on it? I don't want anyone to experience this; it has taught me a lot. I have matured before my time. My family has always stood by me, but they are so dignified that they won't support me if they feel I am wrong. So if they stood by me, that means I have not done anything wrong. They are happy, but do get upset when false allegations are made against me. But they love me,' he told Pinkvilla. A post shared by Elvish Raosahab (@elvish_yadav) Elvish also revealed that he was approached for Khatron Ke Khiladi 15, however, he rejected the show due to his fear of crocodiles. On the work front, Elvish has won Bigg Boss OTT 2 and Roadies Double Cross. He is also now seen on Laughter Chefs Season 2.
