Conflicting Reports Surrounding Seth Rollins' Injury Status: Is It Legitimate?
In the closing moments of the match between Seth Rollins and LA Knight on Saturday Night's Main Event, Rollins appeared to injure his right knee, which he's had a history of issues with. After being checked on by the referee and Paul Heyman, the match went right into the finish, with LA Knight picking up the victory.
While it was initially reported that Rollins' injury was legitimate, we now have conflicting reports that this might have been the plan all along.
John Pollock of POST Wrestling is reporting that he was informed 48 hours ahead of Saturday Night's Main Event that an injury angle with Rollins would be taking place to put him on crutches heading into SummerSlam next month.
'Here is what I have been told, and I will just share what I was told,' John Pollock began. 'I was told two days before this to look out for an injury angle with Seth Rollins that would — it was even described to me, it would be an injury angle that gets him on crutches going into SummerSlam, something to that effect.
'So I was told this two days before the match happened. So the only possibilities here, if I had been told this the day after this had played, and someone is telling me this isn't real, I would certainly need more information than that. The fact is, I was told this in advance. So this person is not psychic. They are not Nostradamus. There are only two options here. Is that this was a work, or they were planning a work, and he really did get hurt. And I don't think that's the case either.
Is another special Seth Rollins cash-in on the horizon?
'So I'm very confident that this is a storyline and this is going to play itself out. This part is just me speculating here, is that for Seth Rollins, his is probably the most like celebrated cash-in that WWE promotes with the big heist of the century, like he can't just do a normal cash-in, they have to do something that is going to shock people. And certainly, this is a way. And believe me, I have heard they are going to go to great lengths on this one. I think they're gonna try very hard to make everyone believe he's out.
'I can't speak for what they're telling other people, or how many people know. I'm just conveying what I was told by a very, very good source. It's not even a case of like trust or not trust. This happened as it was described to me 48 hours before the angle was executed. This is not a case of, well, maybe this will happen, maybe this won't. We see it happened, it happened as it was described to me.'
A little bit of both?
Following Pollock's report, Bryan Alvarez chimed in on the situation on Wrestling Observer Radio. Alvarez stated the mixed reports regarding Rollins right now stem from the fact that he is dealing with some sort of injury. However, it didn't occur in the match with Knight on Saturday.
With the idea being that Rollins will be out of action for a bit, but will return much sooner than WWE suggests that he will.
Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information regarding Seth Rollins' injury status as it becomes available.

Premier League Summer Series: Stream Man United vs. Everton From Anywhere
Manchester United will look to maintain their perfect record so far in the Premier League Summer Series as they take on Everton on Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in the preseason tournament's final fixture. Below, we'll outline the best live TV streaming services to use to watch the game as it happens, wherever you are in the world, and how to use a VPN if it's not available where you are. Comfortable back-to-back wins over West Ham and Bournemouth have put Ruben Amorim's Red Devils in the driving seat at the top of the standings, with those two performances raising expectations of a much improved EPL campaign this term following last season's flirtation with the relegation zone. Everton fans, meanwhile, will likely be feeling far less optimistic after two concerning defeats in this Stateside series. A humbling 3-0 defeat at the hands of Bournemouth was followed up by another lacklustre loss against manager David Moyes' former club West Ham, with those performances underlining the Toffees urgent need for reinforcements before the transfer window closes. Manchester United take on Everton on Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. ET local time, 2 p.m. PT in the US. That makes it a 10 p.m. BST start in the UK and a 7 a.m. AEST kickoff in Australia on Monday morning. Ruben Amorim's Man United are the only side with a 100 per cent record in the Summer Series. Ash Donelon/Manchester United via Getty Images How to watch Man United vs. Everton in the US without cable Sunday's Man United vs. Everton game will be broadcast on NBC and can also be streamed via Peacock. You'll need a Peacock Premium or Premium Plus account to catch the game live. How to watch the Premier League Summer Series 2025 from anywhere with a VPN If you're traveling abroad and want to keep up with all the Summer Series action while away from home, a VPN can help enhance your privacy and security when streaming. It encrypts your traffic and prevents your internet service provider from throttling your speeds, and can also be helpful when connecting to public Wi-Fi networks while traveling, adding an extra layer of protection for your devices and logins. VPNs are legal in many countries, including the US and Canada, and can be used for legitimate purposes such as improving online privacy and security. However, some streaming services may have policies restricting VPN use to access region-specific content. If you're considering a VPN for streaming, check the platform's terms of service to ensure compliance. If you choose to use a VPN, follow the provider's installation instructions, ensuring you're connected securely and in compliance with applicable laws and service agreements. Some streaming platforms may block access when a VPN is detected, so verifying if your streaming subscription allows VPN usage is crucial.
