
Saudi Ambassador to UK Awarded MENA Diplomat of the Year 2025
The Saudi Ambassador to the UK, Prince Khalid bin Bandar Al Saud, has received the Diplomat of the Year Award 2025 for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, in recognition of his outstanding diplomatic contributions, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The prestigious award is granted by the Diplomat Magazine, one of the UK's most distinguished publications specializing in diplomatic affairs.
The magazine highlights the activities of UK-based diplomatic missions and international issues. It also hosts annual events to foster communication between diplomats and celebrate the achievements of outstanding individuals in this field.
The Diplomat of the Year Award is an annual award that recognizes the contributions of ambassadors and diplomats who made great achievements in the UK. Representatives of more than 180 diplomatic missions in the UK vote for choosing the Diplomat of the Year.
The Saudi Ambassador to the UK received the award in a spectacular ceremony held in London, in the presence of ambassadors and high commissioners from over 90 countries.
Last week, Prince Khalid bin Bandar Al Saud, who is also the president of the 33rd session of the Assembly of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), received an honorary doctorate from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) during a ceremony at the IMO headquarters in London.
The honorary doctorate recognizes his notable contributions to supporting Saudi Arabia's efforts and initiatives in the maritime sector.
