Tom Holland supports Zendaya behind scenes at Met Gala 2025 without walking red carpet
Though Tom Holland skipped the 2025 Met Gala red carpet, he quietly supported fiancée Zendaya behind the scenes. As reported by E! News, Holland was seen at The Surrey Hotel in New York City on May 5 as Zendaya prepared for fashion's biggest night.
While Zendaya stunned on the museum steps in a custom all-white Louis Vuitton suit and hat, styled by longtime collaborator Law Roach, Holland kept a low profile. The Spider-Man star was photographed leaving the hotel earlier in the day wearing a Canadian tuxedo and an orange baseball cap.
Holland's absence from the event was intentional. In a January 2025 interview with Men's Health, he explained that he prefers not to share the red carpet with Zendaya so she can enjoy the spotlight. 'It's not my moment, it's her moment,' he said. 'If we go together, it's about us.'
This year's gala, themed 'Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,' raised a record amount for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute. While Holland didn't attend the event, he was present in spirit—most notably through Zendaya's accessories. Alongside Bvlgari jewelry, she wore her large engagement ring, first seen at the 2025 Golden Globes.
Despite public interest in their wedding plans, Roach confirmed to E! News that it won't be happening anytime soon. 'It's far away,' he said, citing both stars' busy film schedules. 'There's a lot of premieres next year so you'll see a lot of red carpets.'
While Zendaya continues to dominate the Met Gala spotlight, Holland remains a supportive presence off-camera.

Dior shows Maria Grazia Chiuri's cruise collection in Rome
PARIS: French fashion house Dior showed creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri's cruise 2026 and fall-winter haute couture 2026 collections at a fashion show in the gardens of the Villa Albani Torlonia in Rome on Tuesday at night. Guests sat under transparent umbrellas as models marched past on a gravel walkway lined with hedges. They paraded sheer gowns covered with lacework, textured dresses with rows of ruffles and long, tailored coats - mostly in white, ivory and nude colors. A sharp-shouldered trench coat, military jackets and tailcoats over skirts brought contrast to the airy looks, as did a few dresses in red or black velvet. Billie Eilish takes top prize at American Music Awards After the show, Chiuri rounded the gardens for her bow as the audience stood, cheering and clapping, while mist rose from the gardens. The catwalk presentation, which drew on references to Italian cinema and theatre, follows last week's cruise fashion show from Louis Vuitton, another LVMH-owned label, in Avignon, France. The shows come as the luxury industry grapples with a prolonged slump in business, and a number of high-end fashion labels are seeking new creative direction to reignite interest from shoppers.

A video from May 26, 2025, shows NFL star Stefon Diggs on a Miami yacht with Cardi B and a group of guests during a festive party. In the footage, Diggs is seen interacting with several women, some of whom are heard calling him 'daddy,' while he appears to dance and possibly hand out drinks. Cardi B is present but not directly involved in the interactions. The clip has gone viral, sparking mixed reactions online. Some viewers interpret Diggs' behavior as flirtatious and disrespectful, especially given Cardi B's presence. Others argue the interactions fall within the bounds of normal party behavior and don't signal relationship issues. Cardi B's new boyfriend, NFL star Stefon Diggs, is going viral for flirting with other women on the same boat Cardi B was on 👀 — FearBuck (@FearedBuck) May 27, 2025 Importantly, neither Cardi B nor Stefon Diggs has made any official statements about the video, leaving its interpretation open. However, their relationship, confirmed publicly since October 2024, appears unaffected. The couple has continued making public appearances, including at a Knicks game and the 2025 Met Gala, suggesting their bond remains strong. The incident highlights how celebrity actions—especially those captured in social settings—can quickly become the subject of intense public scrutiny. While the video's content is debated, there is currently no confirmation of relationship trouble between the two stars. For now, fans remain divided as the story unfolds with no new developments or clarifications from either party.

Jordan Peterson stuns atheist debaters by refusing to identify as Christian in viral exchange
Canadian philosopher Jordan Peterson sparked controversy on Sunday after refusing to identify as a Christian during a heated debate with atheist vlogger Danny in a viral YouTube discussion about theology. Peterson, 62, appeared on Jubilee Media's "Surrounded: Jordan Peterson vs Twenty Atheists," a show that invites challengers to question him on a range of topics. As part of the format, Peterson sat at a desk surrounded by participants, each of whom took turns challenging his views. The exchange grew tense after Danny, a philosophy graduate and host of the PhilTalk channel, questioned Peterson about his connection to Catholicism and his stance on the Virgin Mary. "Why is that relevant?" Peterson responded when Danny pressed him on his religious affiliation. "Because you go to a Catholic church. You're interested in Catholicism, aren't you?" Danny replied. "How do they regard Mary?" The debate quickly escalated when Peterson denied the label of "Christian." 'You say that. I haven't claimed that,' Peterson snapped, as Danny insisted that his attendance at Catholic services indicated his faith. When Danny challenged Peterson with an ultimatum—'Either you're a Christian or you're not'—Peterson retorted, 'I could be either of them, but I don't have to tell you… it's private.' The confrontation reached its peak when Peterson, visibly frustrated, told Danny, 'You're really quite something, you are.' Danny shot back, 'Aren't I? But you're really quite nothing.' The insult drew audible gasps from other participants, and Peterson, clearly agitated, concluded the segment, declaring, "I'm done with him." Peterson, a former psychology professor at the University of Toronto, has long been a controversial figure. He rose to prominence a decade ago for his outspoken critiques of identity politics and political correctness, later becoming known for his impassioned media appearances. In a January 2025 interview with The Spectator, Peterson had hinted at his complex relationship with Christianity. "In the deepest sense, yes, I would say I am a Christian," he said. "But I'm striving for understanding above all. I suppose people might call me agnostic, but that's not true… I'm a new kind of Christian." The debate continues to divide opinions online, with some defending Peterson's right to explore his beliefs on his own terms, while others criticise his reluctance to openly identify with a faith tradition.
