Netflix Unveils K-Drama ‘Notes From The Last Row' Starring Choi Min-sik, Choi Hyun-wook & Huh Joon-ho
Netflix has unveiled the new Korean series Notes from the Last Row, starring Choi Min-sik, Choi Hyun-wook, Huh Joon-ho, Kim Yun-jin and Jin Kyung.
Based on the Spanish play 'El Chico de la última fila,' the new drama follows Heo Mun-oh, a grumpy literature professor and failed writer. He becomes enamored by the talent of Lee Kang, a mysterious student who always sits in the back row of his class.

Things begin to unfold when Mun-oh, burdened by insecurity and unfulfilled dreams, begins special literature classes with Lee Kang, whose brilliance reignites Mun-oh's passion for writing.
Choi Min-sik, who has starred in Exhuma and Big Bet, plays Heo Mun-oh. Choi Hyun-wook, of Weak Hero Class 1 and Twenty-Five Twenty-One fame, plays Lee Kang, an engineering student with a hidden literary gift.
Huh Joon-ho (Buried Hearts) plays the role of Kim Su-hun, Mun-oh's successful writer friend.
Kim Yun-jin (Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area) portrays Su-hun's wife, Ahn Eun-joo, while Jin Kyung (Veteran) plays Jo Hyeon-suk, Mun-oh's psychologist wife.
The series will be directed by Kim Gyu-tae (Our Blues), with the screenplay penned by Jang Myung-woo (My Mother, the Mermaid).
Notes from the Last Row will be produced by Kakao Entertainment and Gtist.

Fast-food chain Chick ‘n' Sours closes stores in UK
Fast-food chain Chick 'n' Sours has officially ceased operations at its Haggerston and Seven Dials restaurants in London, UK, after ten years, according to a report by BirminghamLive. Its offerings will remain available for delivery through Deliveroo, and the Chick 'n' Sours food truck can be present at special events. The Korean fried chicken shop was launched in 2015. Chick 'n' Sours co-founder David Wolanski expressed the challenges faced by the restaurant in an Instagram post, stating that "we hung on for as long as we could.' Chick 'n' Sours began when its founders Wolanski and Carl Clarke met at the Latitude Festival. The business expanded to run four locations. Wolanski continued: 'The casual dining restaurant model is broken, but that's for another post. It's been an incredible journey from when Carl and I came up with the idea of opening the best chicken shop in the world ten years ago on the back of my scooter. "We scraped together what limited funds we had to open Haggerston and go on this wild roller coaster of a trip. 'There are so many awesome independent restaurants out there doing great things but finding it tough out there also.' The chain's menu includes crispy chicken, sour and sweet cocktails and the Hot Chicken Bun, its signature dish, which contains home-made pickle, chicken thigh, slaw and a mild spicy sauce. It might not be officially summer yet, but with the temps rising and my watchlist getting longer with summer flicks, I'm already in full 'what should I binge next?' mode. I'm definitely not expecting anything groundbreaking, but it seems like the kind of over-the-top fun that totally works if you're into buddy comedy chaos, big action set pieces, and a plot that doesn't take itself too seriously. 'Heads of State' follows U.S. President Will Derringer (John Cena), a former action movie star, and U.K. Prime Minister Sam Clarke (Idris Elba), who have a public rivalry that jeopardizes their countries' alliance. With its messy love triangles, heartfelt moments, and those warm, nostalgic summer vibes, this show is basically made for a weekend binge. Season 3 introduces a two-year time jump, with Belly (Lola Tung) now in college and in a relationship with Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno). However, the return of Conrad (Christopher Briney) brings unresolved feelings to the surface, reigniting the central love triangle and forcing Belly to confront her true desires. Disney+ viewers in UK risk £1k TV Licence fine if caught tuning into new content
Millions of Disney+ viewers are being warned they risk fines of up to £1,000 if they watch new content being added later this year. Usually, if you are watching streaming services like Netflix, Disney+ or Amazon Prime you do not require a TV licence. However, household in the UK is legally required to have a TV licence if they watch or record live TV, regardless of what channel it is on. Disney+ announced last month it had won the broadcasting rights to the UEFA Women's Champions League until 2030. This new deal will allow fans to watch every match live "at no extra cost". The BBC confirmed to Cord Busters last year that viewers will need to purchase a TV Licence if they are to watch live events on streaming platforms. If viewers are caught watching live content without a TV licence, they could be fined up to £1,000. The majority of Disney+ content remains exempt from the TV Licence fee, as long as it is not being broadcast live. These are the occasions when you do not need a TV Licence. You do not need a TV Licence to watch: Streaming services like Netflix and Disney+ On-demand TV through services like All 4 and Amazon Prime Video Videos on websites like YouTube Videos or DVDs You do need a TV Licence if you: Watch or record live TV on any channel or service Use BBC iPlayer For those aged 75 or over who are in receipt of Pension Credit, the TV Licence can be obtained for free rather than costing £174.50. Guidance provided by TV Licensing says: 'Free TV Licences are only available if you're 75 or over and you, or your partner living at the same address, are receiving Pension Credit. 'If you think you're eligible for a free licence but can't apply online, please call 0300 790 6117* and speak to one of our advisors to request an application form (our lines are open between 8.30am and 6.30pm, from Monday to Friday). 'Once we've received your application it may take a few weeks to process. If there are any problems we'll write to let you know. We may also call you if you have given us your phone number. 'There are separate arrangements in place for over 75s on the Isle of Man, the Bailiwick of Jersey and the Bailiwick of Guernsey.' Even if you do not meet the eligibility criteria for a free TV Licence you may be able to get some money back on yours, so long as it is no longer needed.
