"Health update. After consulting with doctors and my team, I have decided to have right hip surgery early next week out in Colorado." The post read. "It's an unfortunate situation with so many great events left on the calendar but this is a preventative measure. I'm already itching to start rehab, get back to practicing and I look forward to returning to the course sometime around late summer/early fall."
"I would like to thank my family, friends, sponsors and partners for their continued support of me. I will share positive news on my rehab as I progress and I look forward to seeing everyone at the course again soon!" He added.
Horschel, who sits No. 24 in the Official World Golf Rankings, made 12 starts this season with two top-10 finishes before withdrawing from the Zurich Classic due to the hip issue. He currently ranks No. 16 in U.S. Ryder Cup points, sitting just outside the top six automatic qualifying spots for the biennial competition in September.

Houston Rockets fans entered Thursday afternoon hyped for the release of their 2025-26 NBA regular season schedule. Kevin Durant and Co. will open up the season visiting the defending NBA Champion Oklahoma City Thunder on October 21, 2025. Until then, however, Kevin Durant continues to go after his critics on social media. Rockets' Kevin Durant continues going after Twitter users over bold claims Kevin Durant is no stranger to trolls, and his activity on social media suggest he actually enjoys the banter of going back and forth with fans and haters alike. In a few recent exchanges, Durant made sure to give his critics a piece of his mind. This comes after one of the league's best scorers responded to a Twitter user who disagreed with the idea of calling him the, 'greatest scorer of all time.' That led to a back-and-forth on Twitter, and that continued into Thursday evening. Just a few days ago, when the NBA announced that Durant and the Rockets would open up the season in front of the Oklahoma City Thunder, fans began debates about whether or not Durant deserved to have his jersey retired. Kevin Durant will be playing for his fifth NBA franchise, but the fourth in 10 seasons. After leaving the Warriors, Durant has played two-and-a-half seasons with the Brooklyn Nets and two-and-a-half seasons with the Phoenix Suns. Fire alarm brings Red Sox-Orioles game to abrupt halt in strange scene: ‘Remain calm'

A fire alarm at Fenway Park caused the Red Sox game against the Orioles to be briefly delayed in the top of the eighth inning on Tuesday night. Dylan Beavers was at the plate for the Orioles with the Red Sox trailing 3-1 when the alarms started blaring inside the famed Boston ballpark and the umpires paused the game. The broadcast showed the blinking fire alarm lights going off in parts of the stadium and a message on the video board urging calm. Play was delayed due to a fire alarm during the eighth inning of the Red Sox's 4-3, 11-inning home loss to the Orioles on Aug. 19, 2025. Brian Fluharty-Imagn Images The Boston Globe's Tim Healey reported that an automated voice was telling people to evacuate. 'We are currently experiencing an alarm,' a message on video screens around the stadium read. 'Please remain calm as we investigate the source of the alarm. Further instructions will follow as necessary.' The game was eventually resumed after a brief delay, but the Boston Herald labeled the incident as 'notable' since it reported that an alarm 'typically' goes off at Fenway numerous times during a season and the games usually aren't halted. Back in 2021, a similar situation occurred when the Red Sox were hosting the Yankees in Boston. The blaring alarm and flashing lights started to go off during a September matchup of that season and it caused a four-minute delay in the action. The delay on Tuesday night seemed to benefit the Red Sox, who ended up getting out of the top of the eighth without giving up a run. The Red Sox tied the score at 3-3 off a Nathaniel Lowe two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth, but they ended up falling 4-3 to the Orioles in 11 innings to wrap up the two-game set with their AL East rival.
