Actor Aasif Khan quits smoking after health scare, shares emotional note
Actor Aasif Khan, best known for his roles in 'Paatal Lok' and 'Panchayat', recently shared that he has successfully quit smoking following a major health scare. The actor was admitted to Mumbai's Kokilaben Hospital in July after experiencing symptoms that were initially reported as a heart attack. However, Khan, later clarified that he was diagnosed with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), which showed heart attack-like nearly three weeks after the incident, in a post on Instagram, the actor shared that he has stayed off cigarettes for 21 days. Posting a few photos from his hospital stay, the actor wrote, 'Log kehte hain 21 din me har acchi buri aadat chhut jaati hai , today its been 21 days since i quit smoking. With 10 days to go, the movie is expected to see big spikes in bookings each day going forward.
