When the dust settled, it was Yamashita who lifted the trophy at Royal Porthcawl. Roughly 24 hours after suffering this heartbreaking defeat, Hull posted a message on Instagram for her fans. Hull was proud of her resilient effort at the AIG Women's Open, albeit her performance on the back nine could haunt her for the next few days. "There's nothing like the adrenaline of being in the mix on a Sunday. It's why I love this game. Felt so in control out there. Hit it pure and gave it everything," Hull wrote.
