Harry Redknapp sees 50ft racing boat CRASH into garden of new £12m Sandbanks mansion

Daily Mirror5 days ago
Harry Redknapp was shocked after a boat crashed into the garden of his new multi-million pound mansion. Redknapp and his wife Sanda have spent a fortune creating their dream home on the exclusive Sandbanks peninsula in Bournemouth.
They paid £7million for a house in the Millionaire's Row area where they have previously owned two houses, only to demolish it and build a grand villa, which experts estimate cost £12m.
One of the reasons they went to such lengths to move from the Branksome Park area of Bournemouth back to Sandbanks was their love of the sea.
But their view of Poole Harbour was ruined on Monday when a 50ft trimaran came crashing into their private jetty. The three-hulled £25,000 boat, called Three Cheers, was blown off-course and ended up getting stuck underneath the Redknapps' jetty.
The Sun reports that Redknapp was 'left stunned' by the sailing accident. A spokesperson for Poole Lifeboat said: "A 50ft trimaran was passing through Poole Harbour on passage.
"With no engine at the time, it got into difficulty and ended up aground and wedged under a jetty near North Haven Point. The lifeboat volunteers were swiftly on scene and found that the casualties were all ashore, safe and well and did not require assistance."
The Redknapps' Italianate villa has been built on the narrow plot of land and features Palladian-style columns plus four separate balconies with wrought iron railings.
It is situated on the north west corner of Millionaire's Row and looks out towards Poole Harbour. While it is a dream home for the ex-football manager and his wife, it caused a stir among locals.
The house is inside the Sandbanks conservation area and the Sandbanks Neighbourhood Forum had objected to the villa. The group claimed it would have a 'detrimental effect' on the area.
Next-door neighbour Alison Wheeler believed the new villa would be too "overpowering" and "oppressive". She also feared it would have a "major impact on our privacy".
The objections forced the architect to go back to the drawing board and make the designs narrower, so as not to impact on the properties either side, while glazed privacy glass was insisted upon by planning officers.
The new villa has a grand entrance hall, an open-plan living/kitchen/dining room, two reception rooms, a study, boot room and five en-suite bedrooms. It also features a double garage with room for a gym, while there is a boat house at the bottom of the garden by the jetty, which has access to Poole Harbour.
Redknapp, 78, has not managed a club since Birmingham City in 2017 and won I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here in 2018.

Danny Jones and wife Georgia pose on ‘family day' and appear to rekindle relationship after drunken Maura Higgins kiss

DANNY Jones and wife Georgia Horsley put on a united display as they posed for a joint family picture and appeared to rekindle their relationship following his drunken kiss with Maura Higgins. Just last month, the McFly hitmaker uploaded the first picture of his partner to social media since the scandal broke. 6 Danny Jones and wife Georgia Horsley put on a united display at a huge family get-together Credit: instagram 6 The pair appear to be back on track following Danny's drunken kiss with Maura Higgins Credit: Instagram 6 Danny and Maura's antics came at an afterparty for The BRITs earlier this year Credit: The Sun Mum of one Georgia, 38, has endured a tough year sparked by husband Danny's drunken kiss with I'm A Celeb co-star Maura, which The Sun was first to reveal in March. Her 39-year-old spouse's drunken snog plunged their marriage into crisis and Georgia was reportedly "furious" at the way the Star Girl singer had handled the aftermath of the debacle. Now it appears the duo, who share son Cooper, have smoothed over the cracks for a huge family gathering. Podcast host Georgia captured the "special" event in a series of images posted to her Instagram grid. She added the caption: "And then there was 17. "My family are dotted all over the world so getting all of us together at once is near on impossible which makes days like this even more special. "Cousins, aunties, uncles, parents, husbands, wives, kids… my house was full and my heart happy. "Missed you Si." The first image - showing the entire bunch beaming in the garden - saw Star Girl hitmaker Danny in the centre, wearing a nude coloured T-Shirt. Danny Jones' wife Georgia breaks down in tears live on This Morning saying 'I felt like a failure' He flashed a grin as he was sandwiched between Georgia's family members, while she stood on the left hand side of the image. Later on in her upload, former model Georgia captured some family members posing on a sofa before posing in a series of hugs with others. One fan then posted: "Arrrrr family's are so special." A second mused: "You all look so alike!" as a third put: "Lovely pic, Geo! I know how it is, it's hard for all my family to reunite and it's the same reason of yours, we're all spread around the world." McFly's Danny Jones and wife Georgia Horsley - Love Story MCFLY singer Danny Jones and his wife Georgia Horsley's romance is at the centre of attention after his drunken kiss with Love Island alum Maura Higgins. Yet when did they meet? Danny began a relationship with model Georgia back in 2010. He had been going out with his now-wife for four years when he proposed to her in Cyprus in 2013. They married the following August in her hometown of Malton, North Yorks, in a ceremony which featured musical performances by McBusted and Ellie Goulding. Danny and Georgia welcomed a baby boy called Cooper Alf Jones on January 27, 2018. One then surmised: "Days like this remind you what it's all about." PRESSING AHEAD Georgia's heart-warming upload came after a rough few months for the influencer and her family. Pals previously said she was keen to press ahead with her career and did not want to be seen as a "victim" after Danny's kiss was exposed, and the dad of one made an apology. An insider said: 'Georgia has her head back in work and this year is already shaping up to be very exciting. 'She has got a fresh deal with Omaze to record social media ads. 'Georgia is refusing to be seen as a victim and after everything that happened she wants to crack on and get back out there. 'She has already done some filming for them and couldn't be more excited about what doors this job could open.' Previously, The Sun was first to report how mum of one Georgia had been targeted by a huge reality TV series after Danny's drunken kiss. DANNY'S APOLOGY The boyband star previously made a public apology to Georgia following the incident at The BRITs. He broke his silence online and said: 'Hello everyone. Sorry it's taken me a while to post this but I've taken some time out to be with those closest to me. "I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation. Danny continued: "I love you guys, thank you for your patience, understanding and support. "See you all soon, Danny." 6 Danny met Maura during their time in the I'm A Celeb jungle Credit: Getty 6 The boyband str made a public apology online Credit: Getty - Contributor

Fox's Dubai Style Pistachio Biscuit pack is currently on offer for £2.65 with a Clubcard, compared to the standard price of £3. Fox's launches new Dubai-style biscuit in UK supermarkets But the chocolate-coated shortcakes, which have a 'melt in the mouth' creamy pistachio centre, have certainly been dividing people. It comes as foodie social media group New Foods UK posted a picture of the biscuits spotted in Tesco supermarkets across the UK. The post was captioned: 'New Fox's Dubai Style Pistachio Biscuits spotted at Tesco!' One excited account replied: 'Wow need to try.' While another who was lucky enough to find Fox's Dubai Style Pistachio Biscuits said: 'Recently tried these! They're quite nice, I mean.. you can never go wrong with a @foxsbiscuits right?' However, some weren't the biggest fans, as this person shared: 'They're okay, but definitely NOT worth the money.' Another put: 'I got these the other day. They just taste like chocolate. Not getting any pistachio flavour.' Others also seem to be fed up with the Dubai chocolate trend, as one commented: 'What is it with this craze. They all taste disgusting.' Have you managed to try the biscuits yet? Let us know in the comments below. Recommended reading: What is Dubai chocolate? Although many big brands have created their own twist on Dubai chocolate this year, it's usually a chocolate-filled shell with pistachio cream, tahini, and crunchy kataifi (shredded filo dough). Kataifi is the main ingredient used in knafeh, which is a Middle Eastern dessert with crispy, stringy pastry, layered with a sweet cheese filling. The original Dubai chocolate was launched by Dubai-based FIX Dessert Chocolatier in 2022.
