The Chicago Cubs are one of the best teams in all of baseball, and they have one of MLB's biggest rising stars. At just 23 years old, Cubs outfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong has emerged as one of the top players in baseball this season.

Right now, he is hitting .276 with 55 RBIs and an OPS of .866. Oh, and his 17 home runs this season are suitable for the top 10 in the MLB, tied in eighth place with the New York Mets' Pete Alonso.
Coincidentally, the budding superstar was drafted by the Mets five years ago and was traded to Chicago back in 2021 in a deal that sent Javier Baez to New York.
According to MLB.com's Bren MaGuire, Crow-Armstrong is now expected to be one of the league's first-time All-Stars this season.

"With his 20th steal on June 3, Crow-Armstrong became the fourth-fastest player in the Modern Era (since 1900) to record 15 home runs and 20 stolen bases, reaching the mark in just 60 games," Maguire wrote.

Maguire also noted that as of Friday, June 6, Crow-Armstrong placed third in WAR at 3.8. That sits just behind the Seattle Mariners' Cal Raleigh (4.0) and the New York Yankees' Aaron Judge (5.6).
The Chicago outfielder joins Francisco Lindor and Raleigh on the list among players who are yet to start an All-Star game, while his Cubs' teammate Kyle Tucker was named an honorable mention.
Crow-Armstrong has become a favorite amongst the Chicago fanbase and MLB fans alike, which positions him well as a potential All-Star starter in the National League's outfield.

Fresh off a dominant offensive performance, the Chicago Fire bid to exact revenge from an early-season shellacking when they host Nashville SC on Saturday night. The Fire (7-5-4, 25 points) benefited from Tom Barlow's first career hat trick to post a 7-1 romp over host D.C. United last Saturday. USMNT standout Michael Bradley named Red Bulls II coach
Longtime U.S. midfielder Michael Bradley was named the head coach of MLS NEXT Pro side New York Red Bulls II on Thursday. It is the first head coaching position for Bradley, 37, who worked on his father Bob Bradley's coaching staff with the Norwegian club Stabaek from 2023-24. Bradley will replace Ibrahim Sekagya, who was promoted Wednesday to a spot as an assistant coach for the Red Bulls' first team in MLS. It is a homecoming of sorts for Michael Bradley, who began his professional career in 2004 with the MetroStars, a forerunner of the current New York Red Bulls of MLS. "I couldn't be more excited to come back to where my professional playing career began," Bradley said. "This is a dream opportunity as a young coach. I'm looking forward to working every day with this talented group of players, and I'll give everything to help them take the next step in their careers. "I'm thankful to the club for the opportunity and can't wait to get started." Bradley played with Toronto FC in MLS from 2014-23, recording 16 goals in 258 matches and earning three All-Star nods.
