The Detroit Pistons are coming off an impressive season that saw them go from being the worst team in the NBA to being a playoff team.

Of course, Detroit finished with the worst record in the NBA the prior two seasons before they were able to turn things around this year and make the playoffs as the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference.
They were then able to battle it out with the New York Knicks in the first round and while they were eliminated in six games, they proved that Detroit basketball is officially back.

Now the Pistons enter the offseason looking to build around their core of Cade Cunningham, Ausar Thompson and Jalen Duren.
Detroit only holds one pick in the 2025 NBA Draft and ClutchPoints' Brett Siegel has them selecting Chinese center Hansen Yang with the 37th overall pick.

'Yang is a terrific rebounder. He possesses great footwork in the low post, but he will need to work on his defensive awareness and positioning before contributing in a serious manner,' Siegel wrote. 'The Detroit Pistons can take a chance on Yang in this spot since they need to add more frontcourt depth.'
Siegel makes a great point about the Pistons needing to upgrade their frontcourt depth this summer and Yang could end up being a perfect fit, especially after showing out at the NBA Draft Combine.
This season in China, the 7-2 center averaged 16.6 points, 10.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.6 blocks per game while shooting 55.4 % from the field and 22.6% from three.
While Yang is still developing his scoring and defensive abilities, he has a chance to be a potential steal of the draft if he continues to develop his game, especially with him being only 19 years old.

Yang would bring much-needed size to the Pistons and he would also provide them with another solid defender, which was the staple of Detroit's game this season.

Stefon Diggs, who landed a three-year contract with the New England Patriots this offseason, showed little interest in providing any more details pertaining to the social media video showing him on a yacht. Videos recently surfaced on social media showing Diggs passing what appeared to be a bag of pink crystals to women on a boat. When reporters brought up the video in question at Patriots mandatory minicamp, Diggs said he wanted to avoid delving into his personal life in a public setting. "I want to be as candid with you as possible, but I kind of have a thing where I don't talk about my personal life with people I don't know personally," Diggs said Tuesday as he publicly broke his silence on the viral moment. "I had a conversation with [head coach Mike] Vrabel, obviously, and I'm going to echo everything that he said. He told me he's hoping everybody is making good decisions." Nevertheless, the star receiver said he's been "grinding" and "eager" to be fully medically cleared as he gears up for the regular season. "We'll see how it goes," Diggs responded when asked if he believed he would be able to take the field when the Patriots open the season against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sept. 7. "Obviously, I'm grinding each and every day. I'm eager to get out there, so whenever they do push the button, I'm going to be ready. ... Where I am right now, I wouldn't really put a percentage on it, but I got some work to do." Vrabel, in his first season leading the Patriots, seemed pleased by Diggs' rehab so far and his level of engagement. "He's trying to figure out where everything is and what his role is and making sure that as we add those situations – the third down, the no-huddle and red zone – that he's staying up on it, working hard in his rehab," he said. "Certain drills he can be out there, and there's certain drills that he won't be, but I think he's engaged, and I like his energy." Diggs recorded at least 1,000 receiving yards in six consecutive seasons with the Minnesota Vikings and Buffalo Bills. FIFA's latest attempts to fill Hard Rock Stadium for the Club World Cup opening match between Inter Miami and Egyptian team Al-Ahly involve offering students at an affiliated local college a single ticket for $20 — but with the promise of up to four complimentary tickets. The Athletic last week revealed the launch game, which takes place on Saturday night, still had tens of thousands of tickets unsold for a match likely to star Lionel Messi for MLS side Inter Miami. Hard Rock Stadium has a capacity of 65,326. FIFA denied that fewer than 20,000 tickets had been sold for the match — insisting the number was 'much higher' — but they did not specify the number. This involves students being given the chance to intern at FIFA's Miami office, while FIFA's museum loans exhibits to the college. An email promotion sent out says that FIFA, in collaboration with Miami Dade College, is 'providing up to four complimentary tickets to the opening match of the FIFA Club World Cup with the purchase of one ticket at the reduced student price of $20.' Those who respond are asked to submit their Miami Dade College email when using their purchase. If they secure the five tickets, then they are essentially able to watch Messi for just $4 a seat, which is a bargain for the local community but a long way away from FIFA's original expectations when pitching this tournament as the most coveted trophy in world club football. As reported previously by The Athletic, FIFA has sold general sale tickets for the revamped 32-team Club World Cup under a dynamic pricing model, a system whereby prices fluctuate based on demand, and the slumping prices for certain games are indicative of FIFA's struggles to sell out stadiums. As of last Tuesday, Inter Miami's game against Al-Ahly had dropped to $55, according to prices on Ticketmaster, the portal FIFA is using to sell tickets for the tournament. This was half of what they were available for in May, while tickets were $230 for the cheapest seat in January and $349 after the draw in December. FIFA is now hoping that the reduced prices will draw people in during a publicity blitz in the final week before the tournament. Despite the $20 offer for the affiliated college, the cheapest seat available on Ticketmaster tonight was $69.15 for an 'obstructed view.' It is not known how many tickets have now been sold for the game, but it is clear that FIFA is now taking every possible step to avoid any perception on Saturday night that the tournament is not in demand.
