Real Madrid Are Eyeing A Move For This Sevilla Defender: What Will He Bring To The Bernabeu?

Yahoo4 days ago
In a recent report, Fichajes claimed that Real Madrid are eyeing a move for Sevilla defender Loic Bade this summer. It has been stated that Los Blancos have set their sights on the French centre-back in this transfer period.
Bade's Impressive Form In Spanish Football
Bade enjoyed a decent run of form at the Andalusian club in the previous campaign after he put in a string of impressive displays at the centre of their backline. The French talent was involved in 33 matches for Sevilla last season, scoring one goal and securing one assist across various competitions.
The 25-year-old was a solid presence when defending inside his half as he made 47 tackles, 22 blocks and 29 interceptions in La Liga. He was even tidy when distributing possession from the back, based on his pass success rate of 85.7% in the Spanish top tier (stats via fbref.com).
Bade's current contract at the Spanish club will run out in the summer of 2029. Therefore, it won't be easy for Real Madrid to snap him up on the cheap in this transfer window.

What Will Bade Bring To Real Madrid?
Bade is a good tackler of the ball and can scan the danger well to earn the ball back for his team inside his half. He usually clears the danger when the opposition are on the offensive and can even make a few important blocks on the defensive end of the field.
The French talent excels at playing his way out from the back. Standing at 1.91m, Bade can even use his robust frame to dominate the opposition attackers in the air. He has got a wealth of experience in La Liga and won't take much time to adjust to life at the Madrid club.
Bade would bring more bite and steel to Real Madrid head coach Xabi Alonso's defence. He has what it takes to compete for a regular starting spot at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium next season.
At 25, Bade has his best years ahead of him which makes him a good choice for Los Blancos to consider in this transfer window. Therefore, Alonso should focus on going all out to get a deal over the line for him as he might help them compete across all fronts in the coming years.

Report – Fenerbahce To Make Last-Ditch Bid For Inter Milan Star With Juventus Wantaway The Backup

Fenerbahce are set to make a last-ditch bid to sign Inter Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu. This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, via FCInterNews. They report that the Turkish giants' Plan B would be to sign out-of-favour Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz. Inter Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu has been at the centre of no shortage of transfer speculation this summer. The 31-year-old was reportedly a major target for Galatasaray for several weeks. This led to a rioft behind the scenes. Inter captain Lautaro Martinez had all but called out the Turkish international a few weeks ago. Speaking frankly after Inter's Club World Cup exit against Fluminense, the Argentine implored 'whoever wants to leave, leave.' However, in the end Galatasaray's offer was nowhere near Inter's asking price. According to SportMediaset, in fact, Fenerbahce still consider Calhanoglu a target. Therefore, the broadcaster report, the Turkish side will make a last-ditch offer before the end of the transfer window. Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho's side are targeting a different midfielder from within Serie A if they're unable to sign Calhanoglu. There is little doubt that former Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz will be available after a lacklustre first season at Juventus.

Revealed – Miscommunication At The Heart Of Ademola Lookman & Atalanta Standoff

There is a miscommunication at the heart of the standoff between Ademola Lookman and Atalanta over the player's desire to join Inter Milan. Italian broadcaster SportMediaset report, via FCInterNews, that the 27-year-old's agents believed Atalanta promised they'd sell him to any club, whilst La Dea took for granted that this would include within Serie A. (Photo by) The root of the tension between Lookman and Atalanta concerns the fact that the player believes that his club have promised him a transfer this summer. This after La Dea had refused to sell the Nigerian to Paris Saint-Germain last summer. And indeed, Atalanta have made a promise to Lookman behind the scenes, reports SportMediaset. The broadcaster note that there is indeed an informal agreement that Atalanta will listen to offers and try to facilitate a sale. However, La Dea CEO Luca Percassi claimed today that Atalanta consider this agreement invalid for teams in Serie A. Mediaset report that this is ultimately a misunderstanding between Atalanta and the representatives of Lookman. Atalanta assumed that it was virtually implied that they would not treat offers from Italian clubs the same as those from outside of Serie A. However, Lookman and his representatives have instead agreed terms with Inter. And their stance is that La Dea should honour the agreement by accepting a bid from the Nerazzurri.
