JAMIE Borthwick looked downcast as he was spotted for the first time today since being suspended from EastEnders.
The actor was under fire last night after it emerged he had used a sick disabled slur on the set of Strictly Come Dancing.

This afternoon Jamie appeared deep in thought as he ran errands near his home.
Sporting a green striped t-shirt, grey shorts and blue trainers, Jamie cut a casual figure as he made his way to his parked car.
An onlooker said: "He looked like a man with the weight of the world on his shoulders, which isn't surprising given the hot water he is in right now."
Jamie sent shockwaves behind the scenes at the BBC soap's Elstree-based set last night when The Sun On Sunday revealed a video has emerged of him on the set of the dance show last year.
In it, he was seen using the term 'm********s' to describe the people of Blackpool, the seaside town where the show was being filmed for its annual special.
Jamie, who plays Jay Brown in the soap — made the shameful remark while the Strictly cast were at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom last November.
The footage — which was sent to a pal — shows him backstage during rehearsals alongside co-star Wynne Evans, who was recently sacked by the BBC.
The pair were excited to learn they had been selected for the Strictly tour, which toured the country earlier this year.
Jamie is then seen laughing, before saying: 'Blackpool by the way. Absolute m********s.'
The BBC immediately suspended him from the soap while they investigate the matter.
Fresh Strictly scandal as Jamie Borthwick & Wynne Evans blasted by BBC over shocking SEX TOY vid filmed in dressing room
Last night, they said in a statement: 'This language is entirely unacceptable and in no way reflects the values or standards we hold and expect at the BBC. We have robust processes in place for this.'
Jamie also issued a statement on his own.
He told The Sun on Sunday: 'I want to apologise sincerely and wholeheartedly for the words I used in the video showing my reaction to making it through Blackpool week on Strictly.
'I am deeply sorry for any offence and upset my words and actions have caused.

'It is no excuse, but I did not fully understand the derogatory term I used and its meaning. That is on me completely.
'Now I am aware, I am deeply embarrassed to have used the term and directed it in the way I did. It was wrong.
'When I made the video, I was excited and caught up in the moment. Again, that is no excuse. But my regrettable actions are not a true reflection of my views, or who I am.
'I enjoyed every minute of my time in the Blackpool Tower Ballroom and the town itself. The people of Blackpool have always been amazing with the Strictly crew, dancers and cast members.
'I know they will be again for this year's show and those in years to come. I am truly sorry.'
This isn't the first time Jamie has got in trouble - back in April, he and Wynne were told off by BBC bosses over a video in which they showed off a sex toy.

ITV have reportedly already filmed a brand new prime time entertainment show to replace Saturday Night Takeaway and Dancing On Ice as the shows take a break from the schedules. Later this year the channel will air a prank show called Celebrity Sabotage that will be hosted by Joel Dommett, with Sam Thompson, GK Barry and Judi Love as support hosts. The premise is that the stars will have to sabotage 'unsuspecting members of the public' by completing hilarious stunts. Jill Scott, Fay Ripley, Olivia Attwood, Jo Brand, Guz Khan and Harry Redknapp will also star it has been reported. However there is a huge twist in the show - as the stars will think that they are arriving for a new ITV show hosted by the likes of Clare Balding, Matt and Emma Willis and Rylan Clark. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Then every sabotage mission will add more money to a secret prize pot for the contestants. A source told The Sun of the new show: 'Celebrity Sabotage will have everything ITV does best at its heart — fun and laughter, a huge cash prize and it's absolutely jam-packed with celebs.' The show is set to air on ITV later this year. MailOnline has contacted ITV for comment. Saturday Night Takeaway ended in April last year. The final episode featured its most star-studded lineup yet, with appearances from Girls Aloud, S Club 7, while Simon Cowell, Girls Aloud, Amanda Holden, and Rylan Clark appeared in the second part of Get Out My Ear! The Revenge. It came after Ant and Dec admitted leaving the iconic show was far from an easy decision, as they discussed their emotional farewell during an appearance This Morning. Chatting to hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary on the final extravaganza, the pair explained it felt like 'the right time' to leave the iconic show 'on a high'. Praising its 22 years of broadcasting, Dec said: 'When we first came to the decision to rest it - and we did it because 20 series feels like a good time to do it - we told our management first. 'We said, 'We want to rest it but we reserve the right between now and then to change our minds several time,' and we have. But I think we know in our heart of hearts it's the right thing to do.' Ant agreed echoing: 'For the show and for us personally, it's the right thing at the right time.' While teasing a slew of hotly-anticipated surprises for the grand finale, the Geordie duo admitted they remain unsure if the show will ever be back on screen. Cherishing their memories on the show, Ant said: 'You want to make sure that you get enough new stuff in and fun stuff in so it's not just all a look back. 'We don't know when the show will be back and we don't know if we will ever do Ant versus Dec again, so whoever wins is the ultimate!', Dec added. The year before Ant and Dec announced they'd quit Saturday Night Takeaway ahead of the 20th series, shocking their fans across the nation. Ant said at the time: 'We love making Saturday Night Takeaway, but reaching the milestone of 20 series seemed like the perfect time to pause for a little while and catch our breath.' Dec added: 'We still have a momentous 20th series to look forward to first so we will do our best to go out (for now) with a bang in 2024!' The series has spawned numerous iconic segments, including Win the Ads, Undercover, Get Out Of Me Ear, The End of Show Show and the Happiest Minute of the Week.

Giovanni Pernice's ex girlfriend eyed up to 'tell all' Love Island
Giovanni Pernice's ex girlfriend has been eyed up to become one of this years islanders, in the 'most dramatic series yet', after dating the former Strictly dancer last year Giovanni Pernice 's ex girlfriend, Molly Brown, has reportedly been eyed up for a summer of love in the Love Island villa to find a new romance. The 26 year old, who dated the Strictly star for several months last year, has reportedly been approached by ITV producers. Molly and Giovanni began dating at the beginning of 2024 but split after a few weeks before rekindling their relationship until July. The couple were together while allegations were being made by Amanda Abbington against Giovanni regarding his actions on Strictly. The allegations reportedly grew too much for the couple, and they went their separate ways. A source claimed that Molly could 'spill the beans' on her previous relationship. They teased: 'TV execs love a famous ex and the chance for Molly to spill the beans on the biggest scandal for their rival channel the BBC was very tempting.' The source added to The Sun: 'She could feature later in the series if show action allows, but ITV do speak to hundreds of singles every year to ensure there's a wide cast ready for every storyline.' Former Strictly star Giovanni is now in a relationship with actress Bianca Guaccero. The new couple first crossed paths during the Italian version of Strictly, and their relationship grew from there. They appear to be loved up in recent snaps shared to their social media from a romantic holiday in Barbados. The reports follow this year's summer series of Love Island being dubbed the most dramatic series yet. The 12th series of the reality show is set to premiere on June 9 on ITV2, promising to bring more drama and twists. Returning as host, Maya Jama has hinted at unprecedented twists and explosive moments that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats Mike Spencer-Hayter, also known as Love Island's boss, has already teased that week one will hold never-seen-before twists, as well as revealing that they have a whole two weeks planned out, which isn't a usual occurrence. He has also hinted that the huge twist could be related to this years bombshells. He sparked speculation that the bombshell could be international as he told The Sun: "Something big is coming in week one. We've got a really big week one planned. It's hard to say what we're doing without saying it. It's not a celebrity. We've not seen it before.' He added: 'There will be things happening for the first couple of days we've not done before and certainly in week one. During that week, there's something incredibly big we've never done before. Hopefully, we can do it. It's quite experimental.' The boss also admitted to breaking the rules of tradition by planning further ahead. He said: 'We've mapped out two weeks, which we don't usually do, to be honest. So we've got two weeks planned and one very, very big thing that's never been done ever on Love Island. Globally.'

Antiques Roadshow guest gobsmacked as five-figure value of family heirloom unveiled
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info A guest on Antiques Roadshow was visibly moved after learning the surprising auction value of her family heirloom brooch during a repeat episode from series 45, broadcast on Sunday 8th June. The programme transported viewers to Brodie Castle, where numerous guests had their prized possessions evaluated by the show's experts. In a particularly touching moment towards the end of the show, one woman was astonished when Susan Rumfitt, an expert from Antiques Roadshow, revealed the potential auction price of her treasured brooch. Susan praised the Art Deco-style brooch during her conversation with the owner, playfully remarking, "I hope you wear it every day." The owner replied in jest: "I do," but then clarified that she actually wears it for evening occasions, reports the Express. (Image: BBC) When asked if the brooch was part of a larger collection, the owner admitted to having additional pieces, but highlighted the diamond brooch as the standout item. Susan delved into the brooch's past, prompting the owner to recount its lineage from her grandmother, who, despite being a farmer's wife, dressed extravagantly for social events, hence the opulent brooch. Susan disclosed that the brooch dates back to the 1930s. She elaborated on the design philosophy, noting: "The style of jewellery was very similar to the '20s in regards to being bold and impressive as we're seeing here." Susan noted, "But we've moved away from colour and also concentrating on diamonds as well, which is quite extraordinary considering that in 1929 we had the Wall Street Crash and The Depression." (Image: BBC) She added, "Suddenly we're now concentrating on diamonds which does seem rather strange." The expert informed the guest that the diamonds were of modern brilliant cut, a characteristic uncommon in pre-1930s jewellery, when diamonds tended to be cushion-shaped and less refined. Susan explained that by the 1930s, advancements in diamond cutting led to more precise, symmetrical designs. While examining the piece, the expert highlighted its uniqueness, pointing out that most bow brooches typically come apart, but this one surprisingly did not. Intrigued, Susan asked the owner about her estimate of the diamond's carat weight, to which the woman guessed three carats. As Susan pulled a surprised expression, the guest hesitated: "Shall I reduce that slightly?" The expert's unexpected response followed: "How about 14? Obviously, that's going to help with the value, isn't it?" (Image: BBC) The owner was astonished, laughing and optimistically commenting on the potential boost to the brooch's worth. Susan concluded, "It's stunning. It makes us smile. In an auction, I'd expect this to fetch an excess of £20,000." Overwhelmed by the high valuation, the lady exclaimed: "Oh my goodness! That's taken my breath away that one, brings tears to my eyes!" Despite discovering its staggering value, she affirmed her decision to continue wearing the brooch. The crowd erupted into cheers as the woman admitted that learning about the real value of her grandmother's brooch was quite a surprise. Antiques Roadshow is currently available for streaming on BBC iPlayer.
