A PLANE thug who threatened to "gang rape" a hostess may get longer in jail after an MPs wife was handed double the term for a migrant tweet.
Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp has referred Salman Iftihar's 15-month sentence to the Attorney General for being "unduly lenient".

He said the term was evidence of "two-tier justice" after Lucy Connolly was caged for 31 months for a tweet about the Southport riots.
Mr Philp told the Mail: "Iftikar was sentenced to only 15 months in prison last week for threatening an air stewardess with gang rape and for racially aggravated harassment. Iftikhar has multiple previous convictions.
"Yet Lucy Connolly got 31 months for a far less serious offence - a prosecution Lord Hermer personally authorised.
"This is two-tier justice in action.
"I have today referred the case to the Attorney General Lord Hermer for review under the Unduly Lenient Sentence scheme.
"We'll now find out if Hermer is willing to take action to fix Britain's two-tier justice problem."
Shocking footage showed Iftikhar, 37, tell Virgin Atlantic crew member Angie Walsh she would be attacked in her hotel after landing.
The tycoon launched into the foul-mouthed rant after downing champagne on an eight-hour flight from London Heathrow to Lahore, Pakistan.
Iftikhar said Ms Walsh would be taken from her hotel room, gang raped and set on fire.
He also threatened to blow-up the five-star hotel where the cabin crew were set to stay.
Isleworth Crown Court heard Iftikhar has six previous convictions, including for common assault, in what the judge described as a "lengthy and appalling" rap sheet.
Despite her comments, she only jailed the thug for 15 months after he admitted making threats to kill and racially aggravated harassment.
In contrast, Connolly was locked up for 31 months after admitting publishing threatening or abusive material intending to stir up racial hatred.
The childminder had shared a social media post just hours after three girls were knifed to death in Southport last summer.
She wrote: "Mass deportation now, set fire to all the f****** hotels full of the b******* for all I care...
"If that makes me racist, so be it."
Connolly launched a bid against her "harsh" sentence but this was thrown out by Court of Appeal judges.
Her husband Raymond Connolly, who is Conservative vice chair of the committee on adult social care at West Northamptonshire Council, said she had been shown "no mercy".
In a letter to the Attorney General, Mr Philip pointed out Iftikhar made "over 100 sickening threats" to cabin crew as opposed to Connolly's one post.
The Attorney General's Office will now decide if the sentence was unduly lenient and if so, refer it to the Court of Appeal.
Dad-of-three Iftikhar, who was later revealed as a debt-ridden tycoon with two wives, could then see his jail term increased.

Morris had arrived in Brazil just one day before he was found dead in his rented Copacabana apartment. Surveillance footage captured two women, including prime suspect Letícia Clara Bento da Silva, 23, leaving the scene after allegedly drugging and robbing him. Police believe the women used GHB - which is particularly dangerous in higher doses, as it can cause respiratory failure and death.

A total of 9,703 reports of suspected rogue trader work were recorded last year, consumer charity Electrical Safety First found. Last year, a rogue trader from Cornwall was sentenced after he left customers £90,000 out of pocket. In one case, he removed load-bearing walls without adequate support for the roof and left electrics in a dangerous state. Another rogue trader from Swindon was sentenced after it was found he carried out dangerous electrical work which was not compliant with building regulations. He'd also issued houseowners with an electrical installation certificate for the electrical work claiming it had been signed off by an electrician who had not visited the property. Red flags to watch out for You can avoid getting caught out by a rogue trader by looking out for these signs… They're available immediately Builders and tradespeople are in demand, so be wary of anyone who can start work straight away. Of course, there might be legitimate reason for this - perhaps they had another job fall through - but it's worth asking some questions. Read the reviews on websites like Checkatrade or on Google Reviews and make sure the person is vetted and qualified to carry out the work. They're VERY cheap If one tradesperson comes in with a quote that's significantly cheaper than all the others, you should be wary. This might be because the work is done in a rush and corners will be cut. Remember, cheap work can't always be rectified and you may pay out more in the long-term to repair the damage. When getting any work done, get a few quotes to give you an idea of the sort of price you can expect to pay. Online cost guides can also help to provide an overview of the amount that various types of work might typically cost. They're asking you to pay upfront A tradesperson should never ask you to pay the full amount upfront. You'll usually pay in instalments, keeping the final chunk of money until the work has been completed and you have confirmed that you are satisfied. You should get a detailed written quote that includes T&Cs and states exactly what is and isn't covered, as well as a receipt for every payment you make. Pay using a secure method rather than handing over cash. They've knocked on the front door While it's not unusual to get a leaflet through the door advertising work, you should never feel pressured into committing to any works by someone who has turned up uninvited on your doorstep. Experts say a reputable tradesperson would never canvas work by knocking on doors - they'll be so in demand they don't need to. Instead, a better way to find a decent tradesperson is through recommendations from friends, family and colleagues. Councillor McGuire, who defected from Labour to Nigel Farage's Reform in June, said: "Scotland's four main cities already have LEZs in place and their experience should be a warning. "These schemes have acted as little more than cash cows, generating income for councils while hitting those who can least afford it. "People on the lowest incomes, who are far more likely to drive older vehicles, have been penalised simply for trying to get to work, take their children to school or care for relatives. "Renfrewshire must have no part in this. A congestion charge or LEZ in our towns would be a hammer blow to local households and businesses. We are a working community that depends on accessible, affordable transport. "Many residents travel across Renfrewshire for work, education, and caring responsibilities, while small enterprises rely heavily on vans and cars to serve customers and move goods. "Imposing extra charges on them is not just unreasonable, it risks undermining our local economy and making it harder for people to live and work here." He added: "The SNP-led Renfrewshire Council must act now to rule out – clearly, unequivocally and permanently – ever introducing either a congestion charge or a low emission zone in our area. "Residents deserve certainty, not the constant threat of new charges hanging over them." Councillor Jim Paterson, SNP convener of the planning and climate change policy board, claimed Councillor McGuire was "trying to raise his profile" with the comments. The elected member for Renfrew South and Gallowhill said: "Another day, another fabricated outrage from Councillor McGuire. "The position of the SNP administration and indeed Councillor McGuire on this issue was settled in 2023 when the Conservative group called on the council to rule out establishing any form of LEZ in Paisley and wider Renfrewshire for the duration of this council term. "The SNP position along with a Labour amendment was agreed then by the vast majority of councillors which stated that the council would not consider the introduction of a low emission zone (LEZ/ULEZ) in Paisley or any other parts of Renfrewshire. That position remains unchanged. "Councillor McGuire, like his newfound political hero Nigel Farage, may like to trade in misinformation but to imply that there has been any change to the agreed position of 2023 is just nonsense and to suggest there is a 'constant fear' hanging over residents is just hyperbolic word salad from a councillor desperately trying to raise his profile to secure the top spot in his party's internal list for Holyrood 2026."
