Bigg Boss 19 Media Set Visit Hampered By Mumbai Floods

NDTVa day ago
Mumbai floods played spoilt sport on the media set visit of the Bigg Boss Season 19 house. Mediapersons from different outlets across the country were supposed to enter the Bigg Boss house on Tuesday, days ahead of the premiere.
The upcoming season of the popular reality series is set to premiere on August 24, 2025 at 10:30 pm on Colors and JioHotstar. Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is set to return as the host of Bigg Boss.
But the junket was called off by the makers in the wake of the incessant rains that have brought Mumbai to a standstill.
According to reports, the PR team of Bigg Boss 19 said they have put the promotional activities related to the web series on hold for the time being.
"Due to heavy rains and waterlogging in the city, the Bigg Boss house tour and related activities have been put on hold for now. We regret the inconvenience. We will keep you informed on further developments, depending on the situation with the rains," read the message.
The trailer of Bigg Boss 19 was released earlier this month. In Salman Khan's words, the new edition of the show will not only going to be "crazy", but "democrazy".
Every small or big decision will be taken by the housemates, he said in the trailer.
Salman Khan, in the trailer, is seen singing, " Aisa pehli baar hua hai 18-19 saalon mein".
Bigg Boss 19 's theme this year is Gharwalon ki Sarkaar. Unlike the other seasons, the power will not lie in the hands of one, but the Bigg Boss house will run as per everyone's advice.
The official list of the Bigg Boss contestants is yet to be revealed.

Rocky Jaiswal Responds To Claims Of Cashing In On Hina Khan's Stardom: ‘I Know My Position'

Rocky Jaiswal opens up on fame, reality shows, and life with Hina Khan, saying he knows his 'position and placement' and seeks creative satisfaction, not attention. Rocky Jaiswal, husband of television star Hina Khan, is often seen by her side but rarely in the spotlight. Rocky recently shared his thoughts on fame, reality shows, and carving his own space, clarifying that he is not interested in cashing in on his wife's stardom. Rocky revealed that he has never desired attention or celebrity status. 'I don't think we have ever craved attention as a unit," he told Pinkvilla. 'I know that she is the celebrity, I know she is the star, I know my position, my placement," he said. 'I Don't Want To Ride On Hina's Back' Rocky made it clear that his identity is not tied to his wife's fame. 'I don't want to giddy on her back and become somebody. I just don't want that. If I had to become somebody, I would become somebody on my own. And I'm not somebody who loves a lot of glamour or attention on me," he explained. Instead, Rocky focuses on creative satisfaction. He shared that his choices are motivated by personal growth and the desire to try new things, not by a hunger for recognition. Rocky On Reality Shows When asked if he would participate in popular reality shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi or Bigg Boss, Rocky said his decisions are based on experience rather than the lure of fame. 'I am a very adventurous person. Hina and I have done everything from skydiving to scuba diving. So if I'm offered Khatron, I would definitely try and give it a go if things and time permit. But my driving factor is not fame. My driving factor is experience. My decisions would be calculated on that," he explained. Rocky is currently part of the reality series Pati Patni Aur Panga, which he sees as an opportunity to reinvent himself. 'Whatever I'm going to do, it is not because I want fame. My partner is somebody who is famous. I don't have that craving. I want creative satisfaction and experience," he said. Reinventing Himself On Screen Talking about his journey on Pati Patni Aur Panga, Rocky revealed that the format has pushed him out of his comfort zone. 'This show is something where I'm reinventing myself. I'm a very happy-go-lucky sort of a guy. I can talk, make jokes, and be funny. But to have a balance on the camera is a new thing. And to be a little OTT on the show because I'm less expressive, that's a new thing for me," he shared. 'Never Say Never' To Bigg Boss While Rocky maintains he does not crave fame, he hasn't closed doors on opportunities. 'I'm not a guy who would say no to anything. I believe never say never because you don't know what life will push at you. If I do Bigg Boss, I would do it for the experience. If I do Khatron, I would do it for the experience. For this show, I'm doing it for experience because we just got hitched and we were offered this, so we thought okay, let's do it," he concluded.
