Ellie Goulding loves a younger man! Singer, 38, 'goes public' with new actor beau, 28, following romance with hunky surfer, 29, Niall Horan, 31, fling and marriage to Caspar Jopling, 33

Daily Mail21-07-2025
has continued to prove her love of a younger man after reportedly going public this week with actor Beau Minniear who is ten years her junior.
The singer, 38, is dating the 28-year-old according to The Sun and debuted their romance as they attended the clash between Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois together at Wembley on Saturday night.
Ellie previously dated hunky surf instructor Armando Perez, 29, who she sought comfort with following the breakdown of her marriage to younger husband Caspar Jopling, 33, with whom she shares son four-year-old son Arthur.
They met in late 2023 in Costa Rica where the songstress had rented a swanky villa with pals after secretly separating from her partner after five years.
Ellie and Armando were first introduced when he gave her surf lessons, after previously teaching Shakira, 48, before pictures emerged of them passionately kissing and she was forced to confirm publicly that her marriage was over.
The hunk and his brother Gero run the $70-a-night La Puente Surfhouse and hostel on the west coast of the Central American paradise.
Ellie made numerous trips from her home in the UK to Costa Rica over the following months which she documented on Instagram, including a string of stunning bikini snaps.
According to the El Observador newspaper, she made this trip as many as six times over just five months, typically staying a week at a time, sometimes longer. With the couple enjoying further private lessons, as well as shopping trips and dinner dates.
An Insider told The Sun at the time: 'Ellie and Armando seemed very into each other. When Armando wasn't teaching Ellie, he couldn't keep his hands off her and pulled her in for a hug and a kiss'.
'Ellie looked blissfully happy and was laughing and joking with him as they messed around in the sea.'
Antonio is also believed to have also visited Ellie in London on at least one occasion, reportedly watching her perform to a live crowd from backstage.
One friend said: 'Amando and Ellie were very attracted to one another. Despite the age gap, they struck up an instant chemistry when he gave her private surfing lessons.
'They soon formed a bond and loved spending time together - Ellie loved hanging out on the beach with Armando to get away from everything that was going on back home after her marriage had come to an end.
[Armando was used to spending his days instructing in the water and running around barefoot in swim shorts, and was more comfortable enjoying his 'quiet life' without the 'drama' of being in the public eye, the source added.

She uploaded a TikTok video over and responded to a fan who wrote: 'Can't believe you cheated on Ed with Niall but slay' with 'False!!!! But also slay'
'They had a very special time together and she visited the country a lot.
'But they are from very different backgrounds. She is a big pop star from England while Armando's whole life is based here in Playa Hermosa. He loves it here and I doubt he would have any plans to leave.
'Their lives are very different and so it was natural for them both to eventually move on. But they still remain great friends.'
Meanwhile, in 2015, Ellie admitted to a fling with Niall Horan, 31, but insisted she never dated Ed Sheeran.
The singer sparked romance rumours with Ed, 34, back in 2013 but later speculation began Ellie had betrayed Ed by having a fling with One Direction star after he wrote the smash hit Don't.
She told Elle: 'I did go on a few dates with Niall, but I was never in a relationship with Ed [Sheeran]. I have absolutely no idea where that came from and why it was turned into such a big thing.
'I find it so frustrating that female musicians are constantly defined by the men they have or haven't dated. It's something I've talked about with Taylor (Swift) a lot. She definitely feels that.
Earlier in 2023, she finally addressed the rumour she cheated on Ed with Niall, after he wrote the track about an ex cheating on him with a friend.
The Starry-eyed hitmaker uploaded a TikTok video over Christmas and responded to a fan who wrote: 'Can't believe you cheated on Ed with Niall but slay'.
She hit back: 'False!!!! But also slay'.
Ellie and her art dealer ex Caspar were reportedly living separate lives for at least six months before announcing their split, despite trying to work things out for the sake of their son.
They married in August 2019 at York Minster with A-list guests including Sienna Miller, Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry.
Their split was first rumoured in June 2023, when sources claimed they were 'living apart'.
After weeks of discussions about how they would reveal their separation, the pop star's team finally revealed they had been spending time apart - blaming their 'hectic schedules' for the demise of their marriage.
According to The Sun Ellie is thought to have met actor Beau- who has a string of small acting parts in TV and film in the US - earlier this year.
Last week she reportedly teased a romance with him with a cryptic TikTok video posted to her socials.
The publication claims she shared a clip stroking a man's arm, with the caption: 'Just a little something to take the edge off.' The video is no longer on her TikTok account.
Her fans reportedly noticed that the watch the man was wearing in the clip matched one Beau regularly wears in Instagram snaps.
They also reportedly noticed they both posted photos last week from the same hotel in Florence - before attending the boxing match together.
A source told the publication: 'Ellie is into Beau and they have a lot of shared interests like exercise and art.
'They've been having fun together and they certainly make for an attractive couple.'

BBCNOW/Otaka/Kholodenko review – Rachmaninov fills seats but magic is missing

Sometimes the simple tactics work best. It turns out that if you name a Prom after one of the best-loved works in the classical canon, you don't just get a full house for that piece, but also a near-capacity Royal Albert Hall after the interval for Witold Lutosławski's Concerto for Orchestra. Vivid, gritty, bracing: what the programme hails as the 20th-century Polish composer's 'most successful large-scale work' is many things, but it certainly isn't classical easy listening. And perhaps some of those drawn by the ultra-familiar will now have been set on a voyage of discovery. Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No 2 needn't be easy listening either, of course, even if its association with Brief Encounter sealed its status as the last word in impassioned pianism. It's a strange work, full of delicately balanced orchestral textures and vital dialogues between orchestra and soloist. But not in this performance, which was largely driven by Ukrainian pianist Vadym Kholodenko, making his Proms debut. After a thrilling crescendo in his opening chords, there was rubato galore (dragging the BBC National Orchestra of Wales forward or holding them back) but minimal subtlety of expression or dynamics. All the notes were there – and many in the hall were clearly delighted to hear them – but with little magic from either Kholodenko or BBCNOW, whose playing lacked the finesse demanded by Rachmaninov's score beyond the biggest of the big tunes. The orchestra fared better in Lutosławski's colourful shifts of timbre and mood. In his final appearance as BBCNOW's conductor laureate after a nearly 40-year association with the orchestra, Tadaaki Otaka commanded both massive, muscular interjections and passages of hushed, finicky counterpoint that stilled the audience, inviting attention. The orchestra continued to sound most comfortable in the loudest tutti passages, where brass was served in lurid splashes. The closest this concert got to genuine subtlety was in its opening piece, the Concerto for String Orchestra by Lutosławski's Polish contemporary Grażyna Bacewicz. There BBCNOW's XL string section produced a rich, generous sound (carefully blended, bowing as one), folk idioms occasionally breaking playfully through Bacewicz's mid-century musical nattiness – all led with energetic precision by Otaka. Listen again on BBC Sounds until 12 October. The Proms continue until 13 September.

Olivia Rodrigo cuts a chic figure in an leopard print cardigan and mini skirt as she steps out with close pal Conan Gray in London's Notting Hill

Olivia Rodrigo was spotted hanging out with her friend and fellow musician Conan Gray in Notting Hill, west London, on Wednesday. The pop star, 22, looked stylish in a leopard print cardigan, which she wore with a black mini skirt, showing off her slender legs to perfection. Vampire hitmaker Olivia completed her chic outfit with a black bag and pumps, wearing her wavy hair loose with a slick of red lipstick. Meanwhile, Conan cut an equally cool figure in a white T-shirt and a pair of ripped jeans with chunky black boots. The two pals, who first met in 2021 and bonded over their love of Taylor Swift, were seen enjoying an early evening stroll together. Ahead of the release of Fearless (Taylor's Version), Olivia and Conan hung out at a listening session and she shared a sweet snap of them together. The pair have been seen together countless times since and have formed a close bond, spending holidays together and also sharing the stage. During a stop in Vancouver for her Sour Tour in April 202, Olivia was joined by Conan on stage as they performed Katy Perry's The One That Got Away. Olivia and Conan also share a producer, Dan Nigro. Conan is an American singer-songwriter and former YouTuber. Born in Lemon Grove, California, and raised in Georgetown, Texas, he began uploading vlogs, covers and original songs to YouTube as a teenager. In 2018, he signed a record deal with Republic Records, which released his debut EP, Sunset Season. Olivia splits her time between the U.S. and London, due to her relationship with actor Louis Partridge, who is based in the English capital. The couple have been regularly spotted together since they first sparked dating rumours in 2023. They put on a loved-up display when they attended Wimbledon together this summer, after being invited to sit in the prestigious Royal Box. Olivia's most notable appearance of the summer was her appearance at Glastonbury festival, where she spoke about her love for her boyfriend. 'One thing you should know about me is f***ing love England, I love England so much,' she told the crowd. 'It's bands like the Cure that first got me acquainted with England but now that I'm older I have so many things I love about England. 'I love pop culture, I love that nobody judges you for having a pint at noon it's the best. I love English sweets from M&S and Colin the Caterpillar. 'True story I have had three sticky toffee pudding since arriving at Glastonbury so safe to say I love English food. 'As luck would have it, I also really love English boys, I wrote this next song about getting to know a boy from England who loves beans on a jacket potato, I took all our little jokes and made a song called, So American.' The singer was later joined on stage by The Cure frontman Robert, who she said is 'perhaps the best songwriter to come out of England'. 'I'm so wildly excited about this next guest,' Olivia gushed. 'He is a Glastonbury legend and a personal hero of mine.' The duo then joined forces to perform a rendition of Friday I'm in Love, which appeared on The Cure's 1992 album Wish. Olivia - who previously appeared at Glastonbury in 2022, when she performed on the Other Stage - also did an incredible encore featuring, So American, All-American B****, good 4 u, and get him back! The pop star finished her show by adding: 'Thank you so much, Glasto. This really is a dream come true! I'm so very grateful. Thank you!'
