Every passenger on our honeymoon flight wrote us their top marriage tips – we'll cherish these heartwarming ones forever
WHEN a flight attendant came across a couple on the way to their wedding, she decided the whole flight should help them celebrate.
And rather than the typical trinkets, this thoughtful crew member decided fellow passengers should give the gift of their best advice.

The unnamed air-hostess asked all the fellow travellers to scribble down their most valuable tip for a successful marriage - and delivered the results to the betrothed pair.
Kirsten and Sam, the happy recipients, shared the heart-warming experience - and the lessons they learned - on TikTok, to the delight of hundreds of thousands.
Kirsten, a pediatric oncologist nurse, said: 'The sweet flight attendant helped us ask people for marriage advice.
The pearls of wisdom arrived scrawled on airline napkins, note pads and small scraps of paper - anything passengers could find.
Here are some of the best among them.
A pair of high school sweethearts married 40 years wrote: 'Our advice is: Never give up [because] nothing is perfect, don't sweat the small stuff, never stop communicating, and never go to bed mad."
Another couple advised: 'Keep God at the center of your marriage and have fun together.
"Don't forget to be best friends [and] laugh at the little things.
'Stick together through the hard times [and] good times will eventually come again.'
Offering a philosophical note, someone wrote: 'Unspoken expectations are premeditated resentments.
Dramatic moment plane is struck by lightning as bright flash illuminates cabin & terrified passengers scream 'Oh my God'
'Be nice, communicate wants and needs.'
Lovers of 43 years suggested: "'Be quick to forgive and say, 'I'm sorry,'' which was a remarkably similar sentiment to the decades-together couple.
A long and thoughtful message said: 'Always respond to your partner's bids for attention.
'If they say the sunset is pretty, drop everything and enjoy it together.
"If they ask if they look nice, truly take a moment to take them all in and give them a compliment.
"If they give you a quick hug, hold them longer. These small moments matter for intimacy.'
Kirsten and Sam tied the knot on May 22 in Phoenix, Arizona.
She said the wholesome life advice would serve as a foundation for their relationship, and they were "cherish these forever".

Padres' Gavin Sheets avoids head injury after crash into wall
June 3 - San Diego left fielder Gavin Sheets said Monday that he passed all concussion tests following a hard face-first collision with the wall during the Padres' Sunday home game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Sheets was down on the warning track for several minutes after trying to prevent Adam Frazier's fourth-inning homer. He eventually was helped off the field and diagnosed with a head bruise, hip soreness and a jammed wrist and thumb. "All things considered, felt pretty good today," Sheets said prior to San Diego's road game against the San Francisco Giants on Monday. "Woke up, head felt good. Last night, I was obviously sore, mainly in the hip. But I woke up today, and all things considered for the play, I felt pretty good." The left-handed-hitting Sheets wasn't in the Monday starting lineup despite the Giants going with ace right-hander Logan Webb. Tyler Wade got the start in left. Sheets, 29, has been a major surprise for the Padres this season. He leads the team with 34 RBIs and ranks second with 11 homers. Sheets was non-tendered by the Chicago White Sox following last season and the Padres took a flier on him and signed him to minor league deal just before the start of spring training. Sheets made the team and quickly turned himself a key cog as a first baseman and designated hitter. He is batting .267 and slugging .494 in 54 games and was just recently asked to play left field because of his hot bat. "I'll do whatever -- whatever they want me to do," Sheets said. "Whatever gets me in the lineup, whatever they need me to do, I'll do." With Sheets avoiding a serious head injury, Padres manager Mike Shildt had fun with the situation in which the 6-foot-3, 235-pound utility man ran full steam into the wall. "I think the fence is OK," Shildt said. --Field Level Media

Ryder Cup stars Max Homa and Rickie Fowler miss out on US Open after dramatic five-way playoff
Two of golf's biggest names, Max Homa and Rickie Fowler, will miss next week's US Open after losing a five-way playoff to Cameron Young in Columbus. The American Ryder Cup stars were among the hundreds of hopefuls who took part in 'golf's longest day', when players battle it out over 36 holes for the final spots at the US Open. Monday marked the culmination of a qualification process that began back in April. The USGA accepted a record 10,202 entries for next week's tournament at Oakmont. Homa, Fowler and Young all competed at Kinsale in Columbus, Ohio. It was a packed field that also included three-time major champion Padraig Harrington, Alex Noren, Jake Knapp and Matt Kuchar. There were six spots up for grabs and after 36 holes, five players were locked at five-under-par - Homa, Young, Fowler, Eric Cole and Chase Johnson. They were chasing the final qualification spot and they faced off in a winner-takes-all playoff. CAMERON YOUNG CLUTCH! A birdie on the first playoff hole and he's on to Oakmont! Homa, Fowler, Cole and Johnson are heading home. — U.S. Open (@usopengolf) June 3, 2025 It was Young who triumphed with a birdie on the first playoff hole, meaning the 28-year-old, ranked No 66 in the world, booked his place at Oakmont. Fowler is a six-time winner on the PGA Tour who has also appeared in five Ryder Cups. Homa has also won six times on the PGA Tour and represented the USA against Europe. But the 34-year-old has endured a miserable 2025 season, dropping to No 90 in the world rankings. Homa finished in a tie for 12th at the Masters but he missed the cut in five consecutive tournaments between February and April. On Monday in Columbus, the former world No 5 played without a caddy, carrying his own clubs around Kinsale. He had two putts on the 36th hole to reach the US Open but the ball would not drop.
