Kiara Advani Says She Wants Her Daughter To Have Kareena Kapoor's 'Aura, Expressions'
Bollywood's beloved couple, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, are now proud parents to a baby girl. The couple welcomed their daughter on July 15, 2025, at Reliance Hospital in Mumbai. Both Kiara and the newborn are doing well, and the news has been met with love and blessings from fans, friends, and family. Amid the love pouring in, an old clip of Kiara has gone viral, in which she says she would want her daughter to be like Kareena Kapoor.
During the promotions of their 2019 film, Good Newwz, Kiara Advani was asked which of Kareena Kapoor's qualities she would like her future daughter to have. 'Her confidence, her expressions, her aura. All her qualities. She's a 10 on 10." Akshay Kumar added, 'Her radiant face."
Kareena Kapoor was among the first actors who wished Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra on Instagram. She shared their announcement post on her Story and wrote, 'Congratulations to the lovely couple… ❤️ God bless your little angel 🌈." Good Newwz producer Karan Johar, who is also the couple's close friend, shared on his Story, 'Congratulations and love you both so much!!! Best feeling ever and you both will make the best parents to your beautiful baby girl…@sidmalhotra @kiaraalidvani."
Besides Kareena and Karan, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Ananya Panday, Aditya Seal and Mallika Dua also 'liked' the post. For the unversed, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani announced the arrival of their baby girl with an adorable post on Instagram. The heartwarming, pink announcement card read, 'Our hearts are full and our world forever changed. We are blessed with a baby girl." The design featured delicate heart balloons and soft pastel elements, with 'Baby Girl" written in elegant gold script.
Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani's love story started off quietly. They first met in 2018 at a film party, but it was during the shooting of Shershaah in 2021 that they grew close. Their on-screen chemistry led to rumours, but the two kept things private for a long time. Over the years, fans picked up on subtle hints, like their New Year vacation in South Africa and sweet birthday posts on Instagram. In early 2023, Kiara finally confirmed the relationship with a playful birthday post for Sidharth. A few weeks later, on February 7, 2023, they got married in a beautiful, intimate ceremony at Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer.

Kannada star Shivarajkumar came in support of actor-politician Ramya, who had lodged a complaint with the Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru, against fans of actor Darshan.
