Listen: IU releases new EP, ‘Never Ending Story' music video
May 27 (UPI) -- South Korean singer and actress IU is back with new music.
The K-pop star released an EP titled A Flower Bookmark, Pt. 3 and a music video for her song "Never Ending Story" on Tuesday.
The EP features six songs, which also include "Red Sneakers," "October 4th" "Last Scene," "A Beautiful Person" and "Square's Dream."
The music video for "Never Ending Story" shows IU reliving the happy moments from a relationship that has since ended.
"If longing could rewrite fate, wish we meet again," she sings. "Like a fleeting scene from a film. Though I couldn't hold you when life was trembling, you still live on in those beautiful days."
IU also stars in the K-drama When Live Gives You Tangerines on Netflix. Her concert film, The Winning, premiered in February.

Viewers will finally meet Georgia's family on screen and dive deeper into her traumatic past with her abusive stepfather and mother. (This season, Georgia's estranged father, who she hasn't spoken to since she was six, calls her from jail to reveal that, despite her mother's claims that he tried to kill both her and Georgia, she hadn't told the full truth about why he went to prison.) The first season premiered in February 2021, followed by Season 2 in January 2023 and Season 3 in June 2025. David Beckham to receive Knighthood from King Charles
June 6 (UPI) -- Soccer icon David Beckham will be awarded knighthood next week as part of King Charles' birthday festivities. Sources told the BBC, Sky Sports and The Times about the plan Thursday night. Beckham, 50, will take on the title of Sir, while his wife, Victoria Beckham, will be known as Lady Beckham. Beckham, who has long served as an ambassador for the King's Foundation and UNICEF, was first nominated for knighthood in 2011. The Inter Miami co-owner, who retired from soccer in 2013, was appointed as an OBE -- Order of the British Empire -- in 2003. Beckham appeared in 115 games for the England men's national team. He was captain during 59 of those appearances. He is the only English men's player to score at three different World Cups. Beckham also won six Premier League crowns while at Manchester United before starring at Real Madrid and moving to the MLS to play for the Los Angeles Galaxy. He later spent time with AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain. King Charles, 76, was born Nov. 14, 1948, but will celebrate his official birthday at June's traditional Trooping the Color ceremony.

Harvey Weinstein Says He Has ‘Regrets' and ‘Acted Immorally' Ahead of New York Retrial Verdict: ‘But Never Illegal, Never Criminal'
Harvey Weinstein gave a rare interview as he awaits the verdict in his New York sex crimes retrial, saying that he has 'regrets' that he 'acted immorally' but claiming that it was 'never illegal.' In an exclusive phone conversation on Fox 5's 'Good Day New York,' anchor Rosanna Scotto asked the former Hollywood producer and convicted sex offender what he thought of the women who had testified against him, and if he has any regrets. 'I think Arthur said they had 4 million reasons to testify, as in dollars,' Weinstein said, referring to his lawyer Arthur Aidala. Weinstein, who was found guilty on three of seven charges in an L.A. sexual assault trial in 2022 and sentenced to 16 years in prison, is being retried in New York after his previous convictions in the state were overturned in 2024. He has been charged with two counts of committing a 'criminal sexual act' in the first degree and one count of third-degree rape. Closing arguments in the retrial wrapped on Wednesday, and jury deliberations began on Thursday. Scotto also asked Weinstein why he decided not to testify in the retrial. Though he said he 'wanted to,' Weinstein added that Aidala 'said to me that the jury was very feeling strongly, that the jury understood our case and would be sympathetic to our case and that the DA would try to rip me apart if I took the stand.' Weinstein continued, 'I'm not afraid of the DA, but this was the best advice and this is the advice you often hear: don't take the stand if you don't have to.'
