The dress is by Reemami, a label founded by Dubai-based designer Reema Al-Banna. It features delicate, hand-drawn-style illustrations scattered across the fabric, along with a cut-out detail at the chest, a structured collar and a gold belt that cinches the waist.
Hadid, of Dutch-Palestinian heritage, completed the look with stacked gold bangles on both wrists.

In the Instagram carousel where she showcased the outfit, she also held Eternal Roots, a fragrance she recently launched under her namesake brand Orebella.
'Wearing a piece of art by a brilliant, beautiful, hard working, talented young Palestinian artist and designer today,' she wrote to her 61.1 million followers. 'Miss @reemamiofficial a reminder that Eternal Roots isn't just a name, it's a way of living … thank you to the amazing, multifaceted Palestinian princess @reemamiofficial.'
Hadid then went on to talk about her latest launch, which has notes of lychee, papyrus and vetiver.

'Eternal Roots is about more than trees in the earth ... while it is blooming into our strength ... keeping our softness when the world tries to turn us hard ... it's just as significant to hold onto your lineage when the world makes it hard,' she wrote. 'Care for others. It's about protecting the threads that tie us to our families, our heritage, our truth. It's standing by the causes that matter, even when they're not easy to speak about. It's choosing to nurture what you believe in, the way you nurture what you love.

'Because roots are not passives ... they hold us steady through storms, and they remind us of who we are when the ground feels unsteady,' she added. 'My roots are my compass. They are my strength and genuinely lead me through some of the toughest times … They are my family; blood tied and not, my ancestors, Mother Nature, God and Love. And they will always, always run deep.'
The model and entrepreneur also paid tribute to Chilean-Palestinian singer Elyanna by featuring her song 'Olive Branch' in the post. 'Music by @elyanna — bless you habibti, I am so proud of you and all that you do,' she wrote.

Eyeing global growth, Platinumlist announces rebrand

Platinumlist, a Middle East entertainment discovery platform with more than 9 million users, has announced a comprehensive rebranding of its platform. This step is a response to the booming events sector in the MENA region, which has resulted in evolving user and partner demands for flexibility, consistency and personalization. Since its founding in 2009, Platinumlist has expanded from a single event type to successfully ticketing more than 100,000 events with 20 diverse categories in nine markets in the region and around the world. The redesigned platform addresses this by making the discovery and booking of tickets a quicker and more convenient experience. 'The decision to rebrand the platform was driven by several factors, including the company's expansion across the globe,' said Cosmin Ivan, CEO at Platinumlist. 'This growth presented challenges, as the previous brand identity no longer fully reflected the global and diverse nature of the company's offerings. The prior design was fragmented across different products, which sometimes made brand recognition more challenging for users and B2B partners.' The new design addresses these issues with a fresh visual identity centered around the concept of a 'portal.' This metaphor and identity concept, created in partnership with design studio Kidults, represents the platform as an entry point to new experiences and emotions. The redesigned interface features a cleaner, bolder visual system and improved UX patterns. The dark mode feature is currently in development to further enhance user experience in various lighting conditions, such as at concerts or cinemas. 'Platinumlist came to us with a bold ambition — to go beyond selling tickets and become a true cultural portal,' said Mike Shishkin, creative director at Kidultas. 'It wasn't just about a new look, but about rethinking the brand's role, story, and the entire product experience. We worked closely with Platinumlist on brand strategy, visual identity, UI and content tools. And we're proud to be a part of transforming ticket sales into inspiration.' A significant aspect of the redesign is its focus on regional and cultural inclusivity. Platinumlist collaborated with Saudi and UAE-based type designers to develop a new Arabic typographic system and an adapted logo that aligns with the Latin version, creating a flexible and regionally inclusive design system. Looking ahead, Platinumlist plans to continue its improvements, leveraging the new flexible design system to scale across different languages and markets, from Dubai to London.

Saudi creative levels up the game for Saudi women

RIYADH: When she launched her YouTube channel last October under the pseudonym Geekshoard, Aya (who prefers not to give her family name) was determined to carve out a space for Saudi women in the male-dominated world of gaming, cosplay, and action-figure collecting. 'The goal was to be more connected to the female gaming community in Saudi Arabia, which is not very big, and to bring a new perspective,' she told Arab News. She envisioned a space where women could connect over their shared love for games. She currently has more than 26,000 subscribers to her channel. '(I am) encouraging ladies to be themselves more and be proud to be geeks,' she said. The early days weren't easy. Negative comments tested her resolve, but Aya refused to be discouraged. 'I don't think about it,' she said, adding that instead of letting the criticism get to her, she focuses on building connections. 'I got to know gamer ladies that were very friendly and lovely and built a small community. It was very nice to feel related to many people and feel connected to some.' Aya sees gaming, anime, and cosplay as powerful forms of creative expression. 'I would say just dive right in. Be yourself,' she said. She believes that video games have helped strengthen her social and family ties, and she hopes to show the wider Saudi community that gaming's sometimes-negative reputation is undeserved. 'I would love to show the Saudi community the beauty of video games and how peaceful and fun they can be,' she said. 'I have set values for myself that I wouldn't cross, and I remind myself of them every day to keep me going.' Aya's journey may reflect a larger shift in Saudi Arabia — one of the world's biggest gaming markets, but one in which women remain underrepresented. Her efforts are helping to challenge stereotypes, inspire female gamers, and create a more inclusive space for them. LINKS FOR ONLINE:
