Rapper T-Hood's slaying may have been self-defense as police suspect girlfriend's brother
Police have identified the alleged shooter as Ky Lasheed Frost, 24, the son of 'Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta' stars Rasheeda and Kirk Frost. Ky Frost was detained at the scene of the shooting and interviewed, but no charges have been filed against him.
A representative for Rasheeda did not reply immediately to The Times' request for comment Friday.
Authorities responded to a domestic dispute at approximately 7 p.m. on Aug. 8 and discovered the rapper — real name Tevin Hood — suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Hood was dating Ky Frost's sister, Kelsie Frost, according to TMZ. The entertainment news site also published surveillance video recorded earlier this year in their apartment that showed them in a physical altercation. In the video, Hood walks around the bedroom while Kelsie Frost is lying on the bed. The video appears to show Hood as he leaps toward her and begins to choke her.
Ky Frost and a witness, Ariel Miranda Hutchinson, 25, remained on the scene of the shooting last Friday and cooperated with investigators, police said.
Meanwhile, a female victim sustained physical injuries, police said. Kelsie Frost posted a carousel of photos of herself and Hood last Saturday on Instagram with the caption, 'Just come get me baby please….. I can't even type this. I love you papa. I can't wait to hold you again.'
The investigation is ongoing.

LIVERPOOL, England (AP) — Police launched a hate crime investigation after ejecting a 47-year-old fan from Liverpool's stadium for his alleged racial abuse of Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo during the opening match of the Premier League season. The incident occurred Friday night at Anfield when Semenyo, who is Black, reported the abuse to referee Anthony Taylor in the first half with the score at 0-0. Play was briefly stopped while Taylor spoke to both coaches and team captains. 'Merseyside Police will not tolerate hate crime of any form,' said Chief Inspector Kev Chatterton, the match commander. The fan's identity was confirmed and he was removed from the stadium, police added. 'We take incidents like this very seriously, and in cases like this we will be proactively seeking football banning orders, with the club, against those responsible,' Chatterton said. Semenyo, who scored both of Bournemouth's goals in the 4-2 loss, later posted further racial abuse that he received online. 'When will it stop,' the 25-year-old Ghana international wrote on his Instagram account. Bournemouth players had consoled Semenyo and an anti-discrimination message was read out to the crowd inside Anfield after the halftime whistle. The Premier League also said it will investigate the incident and 'offer our full support to the player and both clubs.' In a statement, Liverpool said it was aware of the allegation and that it condemns 'racism and discrimination in all forms.' 'The club is unable to comment further as tonight's alleged incident is the subject of an ongoing police investigation, which we will support fully,' it added late Friday.

Bryan Kohberger Prison Videos Apparently Leaked, Under Investigation
There's an investigation underway in Idaho after videos purporting to show Bryan Kohberger pacing around his prison cell ended up on the internet. The footage popped up on social media Thursday and they appear to show Kohberger in prison attire walking around his cell. It's unclear if the videos are legit or A.I.-generated. The Idaho Department of Corrections tells TMZ ... "We are aware of the videos circulating online and are investigating the matter. While we cannot yet confirm the veracity of the videos, if verified, they are a clear violation of IDOC policy and the parties responsible will be held accountable, up to and including termination." The IDOC adds ... "We caution that some videos may be fake or AI-enhanced." Kohberger is being held in solitary confinement at Idaho's Maximum Security Institution after cutting a plea deal in his quadruple murder case. We're told IDOC leadership sent staffers two emails in July reminding them of "policies and expectations concerning professionalism and the appropriate use of technology and social media." The IDOC tells us ... "Videotaping and publicly sharing security footage is prohibited conduct and we will be reviewing all legal options, including criminal prosecution. The safety and security of our staff and incarcerated population remain our top priority." So, it sounds like there could be hell to pay if the videos turn out to be legit.
