‘American Idol' reveals its top 7
The 'American Idol' competition is officially down to a top seven.
During Monday night's live episode — which came a day after more than 22 million votes from viewers at home determined the show's top eight — another singer left the competition.

A look at the 'American Idol' top 7 episode
Monday night's episode featured the judges' song contest, where 'Idol' judges Carrie Underwood, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan picked potential songs for the top eight contestants to perform.
All of the contestants got to pick from three songs — one from each judge — but didn't find out until after their performance which judge selected each song.

Who's in the 'American Idol' top 7?
At the end of the episode, voting from viewers determined the top six singers.
This left 16-year-old Mattie Pruitt — the youngest contestant remaining in the competition — and Josh King in the bottom two.
Judges Richie and Bryan — who tied in the judges' song contest with three points each — opted to save Pruitt to round out the top seven, sending King home.

Clay Aiken's 16-year-old son, Parker, is getting closer and closer to realizing his dream of becoming a pilot, and that has the American Idol finalist feeling, quite literally, queasy. Speaking to People ahead of the re-release of his debut single, "Measure of a Man," Aiken explains he's not all that ecstatic about Parker, as part of his pilot training, getting on a plane and flying solo across the state. Aiken, who shares Parker with his longtime friend, Jaymes Foster (the sister of famed producer and composer David Foster), says it was one thing to see his 16-year-old son hop on a plane solo taking laps around the airport. 'He just went and did his first solo flight two weeks ago, so a big milestone there,' he tells People. 'Now we're planning on the next one, which I'll need even more Xanax for.' And the next one involves Parker flying solo across the state, which is proving to be too much for Aiken to handle. 'I'm not going to be able to see the plane,' Aiken says. 'You're gonna have to sedate me. Just call an anesthesiologist because I don't have the nerves for that.' Parker is apparently a very driven young man. Aiken, a 2003 runner-up to Ruben Studdard on season 2 of American Idol, shares that his son has always known he wanted to be a pilot. Zach Bryan to perform 'affordable show for fans' at Red Rocks: How to get tickets
Zach Bryan is returning to Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, this summer for a special show for fans. The country music star will be performing at Red Rocks on Aug. 10, according to an announcement this week. Bryan took to Instagram on Monday to share the announcement, writing in the caption, "Wasn't planning on playing this, but a spot opened up and I wanted to play an affordable show for fans." "None of these tickets will be more than 50 bucks plus the fees," he added. The "Dear Miss" singer said fans can register now through Friday, June 13, at 5 p.m. MT to purchase tickets via Fair AXS. More information is available at Bryan last performed at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in November 2022 during his American Heartbreak Tour. There, he recorded his 24-song live album, "All My Homies Hate Ticketmaster." The singer has long been vocal about issues with fair ticket prices.
