What to watch on Netflix Canada, Disney+, Prime Video, Apple TV+ and more: New TV shows and movies in March
Film and TV fans will surely be tuning into the 2025 Oscars in the first weekend of March. But it's also going to be a month filled with incredibly popular and highly anticipated TV shows and movies being released on streaming sites in Canada, like Netflix, Prime Video, Crave, Disney+, Apple TV+, Paramount+ and Hayu.
Daredevil: Born Again will hopefully be a shining light for Marvel, while The Righteous Gemstones reaches its final season, and a new Nicole Kidman thriller will make its premiere. Additionally, a new Guy Ritchie crime show will be released, starring Tom Hardy, Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan.
And we didn't forget about you reality TV fans, get ready for the drama on The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 16 in March.
Powerhouse actor Stephen Graham stars in and is the co-creator of the upcoming crime drama, where 13-year-old Jamie Miller (Owen Cooper) is accused of murdering a teenage girl.
Graham plays Jamie's father in the four-part limited series, with Ashley Walters as Detective Inspector Luke Bascombe, and Erin Doherty playing Briony Ariston, the clinical psychologist assigned to the case.
Shondaland's upcoming whodunit looks incredibly enticing, starring Uzo Aduba as detective Cordelia Cupp, who's tasked with investigating a murder in the White House.
The cast includes Randall Park, Giancarlo Esposito, Susan Kelechi Watson, Jane Curtin, Jason Lee, Ken Marino, Al Mitchell, Edwina Findley and Julieth Restrepo, to name just a few of the show's stars.

After its success on Netflix, Daredevil is coming to Disney+ with the upcoming series Daredevil: Born Again, marking the return of Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk. With such beloved characters already, fans are anxiously waiting to see if Marvel can maintain the dark more alluring storytelling from what we saw on Netflix.
"When their past identities begin to emerge, both men find themselves on an inevitable collision course," the official synopsis reads.
The series stars Charlie Cox, Vincent D'Onofrio, Margarita Levieva, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Zabryna Guevara, Nikki James, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson and Michael Gandolfini.

Starring Asif Ali, Saagar Shaikh, Poorna Jagannathan, Alfie Fuller and Brian George, Deli Boys follows Pakistani American brothers who, after their father's sudden death, discover his secret life of crime.
The 10-episode comedy was created by Abdullah Saeed and developed by Jenni Konner and Nora Silver. Michelle Nader serves as showrunner and executive producer.
The popular series The Wheel of Time returns for Season 3 this month, following last season's ending where everyone fight Ishamael and Rand is declared the Dragon Reborn.
"The threats against the Light are multiplying: the White Tower stands divided, the Black Ajah run free, old enemies return to the Two Rivers, and the remaining Forsaken are in hot pursuit of the Dragon," the synopsis reads. Nicole Kidman stars in the upcoming thriller Holland, playing teacher Nancy Vandergroot who has a "picture perfect" life with husband Fred (Matthew Macfadyen) and son Harry (Jude Hill), in Holland, Michigan.
But through Nancy's friend, played by Gael García Bernal, we realize nothing is at it seems.
We maintain that w is one of the best shows in recent years, but it's coming to end with the premiere of the fourth and final season premiering on March 9
As we see in the trailer for the season, Jesse (Danny McBride) and his family are promoting new "Prayer Pods," while Eli's (John Goodman) been in Floria and is maybe spending time with a woman, much to his children's dismay. We can't wait to see it season.
In addition to McBride and Goodman, the cast also includes Adam Devine, Edi Patterson, Cassidy Freeman, Tim Baltz, Tony Cavalero and Walton Goggins.
Based on the novel by Liz Moore, the eight-part series Long Bright River, starring and executive produced by Amanda Seyfried.

Seth Rogen's 10-episode comedy series The Studio he plays Matt Remick, the head os a movie studio where he, and he team, have to "wrangle narcissistic artists and craven corporate overlords" to make films.
The series also stars Catherine O'Hara, Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz and Chase Sui Wonders.

The legend Guy Ritchie is giving us a new crime series titled Mobland, starring Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, Helen Mirren, Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Geoff Bell, Daniel Betts, Lisa Dwan and Emily Barber.
"MobLand stars Tom Hardy, Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan as the head of an organized crime family, fighting for power within a global crime syndicate.," the synopsis reads.
Season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta promises "shocking revelations" with some new additions to the cast, Brit Eady, Kelli Ferrell and Angela Oakley, ready to "stir the pot. Phaedra Parks will also be joining, later in the season.
The season will include Porsha's split from Simon Guobadia, and Drew's divorcing Ralph Pittman, spraking rumours about her relationship with Dennis McKinley, Porsha's ex and baby daddy.
The famed competition show made the move to Canada for Season 22, with 15 chefs competing for a chance to win the largest grand prize package in the show's history. Highlighted cities include Toronto, Calgary, Montreal and Prince Edward Island.

Netflix just dropped a trailer for its new star-studded romantic comedy series — and it looks like a hilarious watch
If you're a Netflix subscriber and a romantic comedy fan, you might be primed to fall in love with the streamer's upcoming series, "Too Much." That's based on the trailer, which the streaming giant just dropped for Lena Dunham's star-studded new Netflix rom-com this week, and promises to show the messy realities of falling in love. Check it out below: The trailer tees up the connection between our two leads — workaholic and New York expat Jessica (Megan Stalter) and Felix (Will Sharpe), a singer and so-called "walking series of red flags" — and shows off the sense of humor and some of the misadventures you can expect to see when the show hits the streaming service this summer.
