WWE Raw superstar Zoey Stark recently underwent knee surgery following a significant injury sustained during the May 19, 2025, episode of the show. Unfortunately, reports indicate she is facing a lengthy recovery period.
The incident occurred when Stark's knee buckled upon landing a missile dropkick in a Money in the Bank qualifying match featuring Rhea Ripley and Kairi Sane. Stark was immediately attended to by medical staff and carefully carried backstage, being removed from the qualifier.
According to Fightful Select, she recently had knee surgery. The report added, "It's not her first one, so she's very familiar with the rehab process."
Initially, in the week following the injury, WWE sources told Fightful that Stark wasn't expected back this year [2025]. However, an updated prognosis suggests a more extended absence.
Sources now expect her out past next year's WrestleMania [42 in 2026]. Stark signed with WWE in early 2021, making her debut on the NXT brand in the Women's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic alongside Marina Shafir.

She quickly made an impact, and one of her early notable achievements in NXT was capturing the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship with Io Shirai (now WWE Women's World Champion IYO SKY) at The Great American Bash in July 2021.

Their reign lasted for several months before Stark was unfortunately sidelined with a legitimate knee injury in late 2021, which also required surgery and a substantial recovery period.
After successfully returning from that previous injury, Stark was called up to the main roster as part of the 2023 WWE Draft, being assigned to Monday Night Raw. She made a strong impression upon her main roster debut and soon formed a high-profile alliance with WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus.
This partnership saw Stark act as an enforcer for Stratus during her intense feud with Becky Lynch, playing a crucial role in several key matches, including those at the Night of Champions and Payback premium live events in 2023. This latest injury is an unfortunate setback for the talented and resilient superstar.
Stark is a really good in-ring worker and has a lot of upside. Hopefully, she can come back better than ever and still perform at the same level as she once did.

PGA Tour Rookie Honored by UNC Legends, and Hilariously Bill Belichick
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. This week, David Ford became the third player to earn a PGA Tour card by leading the PGA Tour University Program as the nation's top collegiate golfer. The former University of North Carolina star joins Ludvig Aberg (2023) and Michael Thorbjorsen (2024) as recipients of this honor. Although the program is relatively new, the merit of earning a tour card through it has progressively gained recognition outside the golf world. In fact, several of the Tar Heels' top sports figures honored Ford for this achievement. These big names include NBA Hall of Famer Vince Carter, a former star of North Carolina's basketball program; College Football Hall of Famer Mack Brown, the former head football coach; and College Basketball Hall of Famer Roy Williams, the former head basketball coach. Then there is Bill Belichick's surprising praise. David Ford of the United States watches his shot from the sixth tee during the second round of the Charles Schwab Challenge 2025 at Colonial Country Club on May 23, 2025 in Fort Worth, Texas. More"The Carolina family believes in you, and we are cheering for you every step of the way. I can't wait to see you succeed with the pros and get that first tour win under your belt. You got this. Go Heels!" Carter said. "I just want to wish you the best as you move forward towards PGA Tour. I know the next steps are big ones, and we're all here pulling for you," Belichick added. "Congratulations, good luck moving forward. Go Heels!" Brown said. "You've got something special. You're different. Don't ever forget that...I look forward to many great things from you, but you're a tough little nut, and that's as good as I can say," Williams said. Ford was visibly moved by the kind words of prominent North Carolina sports figures. "To start off with, Vince Carter was wild. But yeah, just the whole host of people. I think Coach Williams definitely stood out to me," Ford said. "He's just a regular guy. He knows competition. He knows how to get better, and he knows what to look for when recruiting great players." The Tar Heels show up 🤜 🤛 to congratulate their guy @Davidfordgolf on getting his PGA TOUR card. — PGA TOUR (@PGATOUR) June 3, 2025 But it was certainly strange to see Belichick as part of the ensemble. The former New England Patriots head coach signed on to be North Carolina's football coach earlier this year. He basically just walked in the proverbial door. Meanwhile, the other figures in the video have ties that go back decades. Nevertheless, Ford's designation as the top-ranked player in the PGA Tour University Program concludes his extraordinary amateur career, which began to excel during his junior years. In fact, he was recruited by the Tar Heels, who are ranked No. 1 in the country by the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA). While at North Carolina, he continued to improve, winning seven of the 48 tournaments he played in. This tied the record for the most wins in the Tar Heels golf program. He also led his team to 17 victories, including the 2023 Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) title and three top-five finishes in the NCAA tournament. These results earned him numerous accolades, including the 2025 Haskins Award, which is given to the most outstanding collegiate golfer in the country. Three other notable collegiate stars recently received their PGA Tour cards through the PGA Tour University Accelerated Program: Luke Clanton, Jackson Koivun, and Gordon Sargent were the recipients. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Driver of the Hyak Motorsports No. 47 Chevrolet, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., has partnered with a popular beer brand co-founded by WWE star Hulk Hogan for this weekend's FireKeepers Casino 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at the Michigan International Speedway. Real American Beer is set to partner with the team for the second time this season, and as a result, the No. 47 car will feature a unique paint scheme dedicated to the premium light beer brand. Stenhouse Jr. comes off the back of a disastrous weekend in Nashville, where Carson Hocevar crashed into him. The impact from the rear caused him to crash into the wall, resulting in a last-place finish in the race. Now, the Hyak Motorsports driver heads to Michigan with renewed energy. Addressing the upcoming race, he said: Ricky Stenhouse Jr., driver of the #47 SUNNYD Chevrolet, walks onstage during driver intros prior to the NASCAR Cup Series All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro Speedway on May 18, 2025 in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina. "But this team's got heart. We've put in the work this week, and we're heading to Michigan with a clean slate and a fast Real American Beer Chevy." Hulk Hogan shared his excitement for the race this weekend. He added: "Brother, Michigan knows how to go full throttle—and so does Real American Beer. We're back on the track, back in the fight, and there's no better time to crack one open and let it rip." Real American Beer CEO Terri Francis revealed the brand's strategy. He said: "Motorsports fans have been some of our loudest supporters from day one. This partnership is part of our strategy to meet them where they are—on the road, in the stands and in the beer aisle." WWE star Jimmy Hart will also be present at the race track in Michigan for Real American Beer. Stenhouse Jr. hinted after the Cup Series race in Nashville that payback was coming to Hocevar after the crash last week. Newsweek Sports reported: "A lap or two before, he [Hocevar] tried to dive in there from about 10 car lengths back and then that time, I just opened my entry a little bit and he over-charged the corner and drilled us in the rear bumper. "I'd say it's not out of the norm from him, but I definitely wasn't expecting that at that point of the race. It's just a bummer for us." He added: "Bummed our day ended like that. Definitely will have something to do about it at one point." Stenhouse Jr. confirmed after the race weekend that Hocevar had not approached him. It remains to be seen whether Stenhouse Jr. will take drastic action in Michigan.

Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Seven-time Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton has been leading several social causes, including efforts to help create a more inclusive education system. As part of his Mission 44 initiative, he met with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Sir Keir Starmer, to support the government in setting up a framework that would help students succeed in schools, regardless of their background. Mission 44 was set up four years ago to help students and ensure they don't face the same challenges Hamilton experienced in his school days. The Briton also met Secretary of State for Education Bridget Phillipson at 10 Downing Street to discuss reforms that could be introduced in the education system. The government of the UK revealed its commitment to the social cause by developing a framework that includes exploring ways to increase school funding across the board, improving mental support for students, and hiring more teachers in classrooms. He said: "I want to thank Lewis -- this was his idea, this is his legacy. Hamilton shared a post on Instagram, talking about his struggles at school and confirming the government's commitment to the initiative. He wrote: "The future of education must be inclusive. "Today, myself, @mission44, our partners, and some incredible students met with the UK Prime Minister for an important discussion on how we can make sure all young people are supported to succeed in school, regardless of their background. I struggled in school and never felt like my voice was heard, so I know firsthand that ensuring every student feels they belong in school is vital. "I'm grateful that off the back of this meeting, the government has committed to working with Mission 44 to enact change focused on making the education system more inclusive. I'm so proud of how far M44 has come in such a short space of time and the opportunity we have to transform the lives of vulnerable students across the country. "I encourage everyone to head to the Mission 44 website to find out more about today's announcement and support our work. We can create a fairer, more compassionate world, together."
