de Novo Solutions Sponsors Rising Formula 4 Star Daniella Sutton

Digital transformation company de Novo Solutions is sponsoring 16-year-old Daniella Sutton for the 2025 motorsport season.
Daniella is the 2024 BRSCC Inaugural Scholarship Champion. She is one of the small but growing 4% of women competing at motorsport's highest levels, and she is also managing Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis.
Daniella discovered her passion for motorsport at six years old through go-karting, earned her motorsports licence, and rapidly ascended the ranks, excelling in the Daniel Ricciardo Championship UK and the Total Karting Zero UK North Championship before clinching the prestigious BRSCC Inaugural Scholarship Championship.
Mark Sweeny, Founder and Chief Executive of de Novo Solutions, said:
'When I founded de Novo, it was always a core principle that we would nurture young and aspiring talent, Daniella embodies everything we value: precision, innovation, and the determination to turn challenges into success. Her data-driven approach to racing, her ability to perform under pressure, and her resilience in overcoming personal challenges mirror exactly the kind of mindset we foster within our own team and the cutting-edge digital solutions we deliver to our clients. Following the success of our key strategic partners Oracle and ServiceNow involvement in F1, we're excited to get involved at the grassroots level with someone who has real championship potential.'
Daniella added:
'What drew me to de Novo is how closely our values align. They understand that success comes from precision, data-driven decisions, and never giving up – exactly what it takes in motorsport. As someone who's had to overcome challenges and push boundaries in a male-dominated sport, having a sponsor who champions innovation and believes in breaking traditional barriers is incredibly meaningful. I am delighted to be working with de Novo and excited for our partnership to develop.'
Founded in 2021, de Novo utilises Oracle Cloud and ServiceNow technologies to deliver value-focused digital transformation services to public and private sector organisations.

Legal innovators are celebrated in an era of rapid change

This year's awards will celebrate innovation, transformation and leadership within the profession and will also recognise firms that have learnt how to harness the potential that new technologies are now presenting to them. The Law Society of Scotland has been at the forefront of encouraging its members to explore and adapt to the new ways of working. During the Society's recent Legal Tech Conference 2025, keynote speaker Dr Diane Gutiw explored AI as a force for good, counteracting negative perceptions that have described AI as a threat rather than an essential performance enhancing tool, while other participants also highlighted the need for firms of all sizes to embrace technology or risk being left behind. Recent research carried out by the Law Society of Scotland, sponsor of the Innovation Award at the Herald Law Awards, explores small firm attitudes towards legal tech adoption and the responses have highlighted lack of training being a significant concern. However the large number of participants who took part in the conference on-line also demonstrated a growing willingness to embrace technology, while the fact that this cohort included a sizeable number of students, demonstrated that the new generation of legal professionals will bring fresh attitudes to the issue.' Meanwhile Grant Yuill, head of marketing & customer engagement with legal software provider, Denovo, sponsors of the High Street Firm of the Year Award, at The Herald Law Awards, welcomed the record attendance levels at the Legal Tech Conference, in which his firm also participated. He believes that a growing appetite exists amongst legal firms to embrace smart tools and that new technologies will have a sizeable impact on the profession within a very short timeframe, not just through incremental improvements, but by creating fundamental shifts in how legal services can be delivered more efficiently, compliantly, and profitably. He says: 'The Law Society of Scotland deserves enormous credit for creating such a dynamic and inclusive platform where innovation can flourish. The conference showcased a wide range of emerging technologies that are already transforming how law firms operate - from our own Scots law trained and fully verified AI research assistant to smart workflow automation tools that reduce admin, increase compliance, and improve profitability. These tools are no longer just 'nice to have', they are essential to running a modern, competitive legal practice.' It was exciting, he said, to witness the Law Society championing this progress, actively encouraging firms of all sizes, and in particular High Street firms, to explore and adopt new ways of working highlighting the theme of the conference which was 'something for everyone'. 'Their commitment to making legal tech, like our practice management software platform, more accessible and relevant is helping to ensure that firms, especially those operating in high-pressure environments, have the support they need to thrive.' High Street Firms in particular, says Yuill, face unique challenges, from compliance burdens to tight margins, and he believes that tech can help them to manage these and deliver consistently exceptional service to clients. 'Supporting these firms is central to our mission. We don't just help law firms manage cases - we help them manage better businesses. By equipping them with smarter tools and AI-driven solutions, we empower them to become more efficient, profitable, and sustainable. We work with hundreds of firms across Scotland and thousands of solicitors and support staff, and it's deeply rewarding to see many of them being recognised for the incredible work they do.' More legal professionals and teams will be recognised on Friday, 7 November when [[The Herald]] Law Awards of Scotland in association with 123 Medical Services take place in the Radisson Blu Hotel in Glasgow, also sponsored by Border, Idex Consulting and Stirling Park. Applicants have until Thursday, 4 September to complete and return entry forms. Full details of these, along with the categories and information on the awards ceremony itself are available from
